Cons:
They never rented the car to me. They asked for round trip flights receipts. They told me they have this policy since I couldn’t comply they didn’t rent me the car. I expect a full refund since it wasn’t my fault2.0 Mediocre

Cons:
The Checkin experience. Never mentioned that insurance card was needed and deposit needed. Car was parked so tight that it took 6 back and forths to get out of spot. Wait to return to airport was 40+ minutes2.0 Mediocre

Pros:
First it took 1.5 hours to get from the airport to the rental facility, which is off site from he the other car rental companies. My wife complained to the agent about the their poor shuttle service and she was not very apologetic . I was told I needed an insurance ID, which I did not have with me. No other rental companies require one, in fact the Route website only says one is needed for under 25 years old renters. I had my insurance company email an ID to me which took 5 minutes. The agent got into an argument with my wife and told me she was not renting me a car even though I had all the necessary documents and cards. We end up getting a ride back to the other car rental to get a car there and finally got on the road 5 hours after arriving at the airport. I wrote claim to get my prepaid rental money back I am waiting for the that to happen. Lessons learned, do not rent from Route ever, do not prepay for a rental, do not get a rental from an off site company in Chicago.Cons:

Pros:
The individuals at the location were very helpful and thorough throughout the pickup and dropoffs, with clear details about the rental. They were even nice enough to let me leave again to fill up the cars tank after I had forgotten to do so prior to dropoff. Nice individuals!Cons:
It would have been nice to know how much the additional insurance would be instead of being hit with the price on the spot, adding to the overall total.2.0 Mediocre

I showed up to the airport Hertz desk at O'Hare airport only to be told that, not only is the Stone Park Hertz facility many miles from the airport but should I hire a driver to deliver me there, it would be closed for the night by the time I arrived.10.0 Excellent

They didn’t have the size car I ordered. They had to give me a smaller one, which made for an uncomfortable weekend. Also, it smelled like fast food and there was hair everywhere.4.0 Okay

On the pickup date they had me waiting for the car and wen they finally had it the told me it needed an oil change and if I wanted the car right away I would have to take the car myself to do the oil change, otherwise I had to wait longer. The car was not even vacuumed or washed wen i got it. Also wen i got to my destination I noticed that the plate sticker was expired. When I told them about it they told me I could have driven it like that and if I have gotten a ticket they would have paid for it.2.0 Mediocre

Pros:
Our plane was delayed from Washington DC Reagan National. Upon arrival to Chicago's O'Hare, the rental car company had closed at 6:00pm CST. We called the 800 number to seek assistance. They would not transfer our rental to another Enterprise company near by. We were traveling to reach our critically ill daughter in Indiana. Four hours later after literally begging for help, we gave up and rented a car at three times the expense from Thrifty. Their customer service was excellent even though the cost was high. Enterprise corporate was heartless and cold at a time when we needed help so desperately. I don't care if it was offered for free. I will NEVER rent a car with Enterprise again.10.0 Excellent

Pros:
The location is not a typical Airport location (I had to Uber to get there), but I arrived close to closing time and it was very very busy approaching a holiday (Christmas) weekend. The entire team from the Manager Ryan to the service team (who checked my tires) to all of the counter agents were outstanding. It was a BUSY time (after a long shift) with customers renting and returning vehicles, and EVERYONE was friendly, polite, respectful... I too had had a long day and I was very appreciative of the reception and service I received. Thank you2.0 Mediocre

Cons:
Kayak booked the car at the wrong location..it was supposed to be at Ohare Airport Location and was not. I was not aware of it until I was flying to Chicago when the pickup location said they were closing. Nobobdy would help rebook it for same price at airport location. After much frustration I had to abadon Enterprise and book with Hertz.Bandago
