Couldn't get me the car I reserved 4 months earlie
Pros: I reserved a convertible in March to use in July. Called them the day before picking up the rental, told me they didn't have one available.
Cons: They didn't call me. Rate quoted was almost 3 times higher than Enterprise which was able to provide the convertable

Pros: The office seemed a bit understaffed so I didn't have to wait long I felt bad for the guy behind the counter, he was very nice but he seemed like he could use another person to help he seemed very stressed and tired although he was very very nice and kind.
Cons: The only issue I had was when I return my rental. It's not even a very significant issue because I had paid for the unlimited mileage but when I dropped off my rental after only having had it 4 days, I was told that I had put fifteen hundred plus miles on the car and that wasn't anywhere even remotely true. I couldn't find the paper that listed the mileage when I got the car but I guarantee that I drove no more than 150 to 200 miles period again it wasn't really an issue I just thought it was very strange that this happened must be a crossed wire somewhere.

Horrible Customer Service
Pros: The customer service agent was discreet when telling me that the soft credit check done at the counter, which I was not aware of prior to the rental, would not allow me to rent the car. Prior to this incident, I had never had a problem renting from Budget.
Cons: I waited for nearly 20 minutes to check in for the car rental.
After being told I couldn't rent the car with my debit card (due to the credit check), I was going to use my credit card but had to transfer funds to it for the additional deposit required for the rental. However I had gotten a ride to the rental center with the anticipation that I was renting the car, so my ride left. I needed to go one and a half to two blocks to make the money transfer onto my credit card but no one could give me a ride to save time, because the office was closing in 20 minutes. Furthermore, I said that I would walk and should be back before the office closed. They adamantly stated they would not wait. Really?! After waiting nearly 20 minutes to check in for the rental, but was not allowed the opportunity or the courtesy to take a few minutes to do what was necessary to rent the car after being totally inconvenienced. To add insult to injury, I had to call Uber to pick me up! The customer service at this location is truly lacking!!!
Cons: We went to pick up our van and they said they have been trying for two days to get one. They couldn't get us one so we went to enterprise and had to get a suburban for 1325 dollars over twice the price. Avis said to send them the bill and they will send us a check for 500 dollars. With that vehicle gas was more and the 500 don't make up for our original rental price. real disappointed.
