Pros: Big newish car, easy drop-off, very low rate.
Cons: It was a Jeep Compass with a very small engine. Therefore the car was struggling sometimes with even basic highway acceleration. Other than that everything was great.

Cons: I reserved an economy car to save gas . The person at the counter said they were all out of the cars , and the only vehicle a big car. She was very rude and said either I take that car or find another rental car place.

If you don't care that they give you more than you
Pros: Giant Jeep rental at small car price. With all the other rentals across from the terminal.
Cons: Return sign hard to see, had to drive around again? Seriously, that was my only complaint....

New car experience
Pros: Sporty little red Jeep, was a different driving experience for me. It was fun to drive and easy to adjust seat and mirrors. Good visibility and I felt comfortable in it right away.
Cons: The vehicle, despite giving the appearance of a 4x4 off road potential - it did not have a lot of guts. 4 cylinder with no overdrive left us knowing this would not be our choice of a full time car. But it was still a great choice for a change of pace and it served our needs well.

They forgot our child car seat
Pros: Price seemed good, but can't rate anything else as we cancelled our reservation due to a major error on Payless' part.
Cons: Landed after midnight to find out they'd forgotten a car seat for our youngest child (which I had called and specifically ordered several days prior). Fortunately one of the competing rental services was still open, so we were able to cancel the Payless reservation and switch.

Cons: They didn't have a car for us despite having a reservation. We had to go to another company and pay twice as much. I was very upset about the situation. I'd much rather pay a few dollars more for reliability

Payless at Pitt
Pros: Friendliness and efficiency of staff
Cons: Up charge of $10 to allow my husband to drive
Cons: I rent from Enterprise all over the US and have never had an issue. The cars are always clean, well taken care of, and run smoothly. The staff is always very accommodating.
Unfortunately at Steubenville's location I didn't have a normal Enterprise experience. The car's "maintenance required" light was on. I went back in and told them before departing the lot. I was told it's fine and to ignore it. The car did run fine but the light was nerve wracking. The car smelled like smoke and rotten milk, there were stains on the seats, and crumbs in the car. When I asked about another car, I was told there weren't any.
I'll continue to rent from Enterprise, but likely not from Steubenville.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Pros: From Beginning to end, the customer service was excellent.
very nice at pick up, we were explained everything in details. everything was very clear, for the bill, the vehicle, and even how to operate some of the features.
I really liked the manager's phone call the next day to ask us if everything was OK.
and again at drop off everyone was very nice.
A great experience! I will definitely come back and recommend to people Enterprise in Ferndale.
Pros: Checking in at the counter was super easy - drivers license, a question about fueling the car and another about insurance and we were done at the counter! No pressure to ourchas ethe insurance. Easy access to the car out of one of the airport doors. Had a couple of minivans to choose from. Returning the car was even easier, pull in, let them check the mileage and the fuel level, and receipt in hand. They had luggage carts for us to use at no charge. Highly recommend!

No agent at the counter at 6AM for reservation
Pros: Was upgraded to a great car, an Audi Q3 SUV. Made the long drive from Pittsburgh to Boston pretty comfortable. Thanks for that.
Cons: There was no ticket agent at the National counter at 6AM. Had to go out to the garage to find someone.
