It's good overallThe car is new, clean, in good condition.The pickup and dropoff place is far from the airport. I spent extra money on uber. But the employee said they open a closer agent and offer shuttle bus to the airport.

The vehicle was excellent and the office staff was quick, cordial and professional. They exceeded my expectations.Would have been nice to have users manuals in the vehicle but there were none. Had to figure out some unfamiliar features the hard way.

We had a three week rental and were upgraded from a full size to a luxury SUV at no additional cost to us. The vehicle was incredible and we didn’t want to give it back. National did a great job with prompt service at pick up and drop off and were careful to adhere to Covid safety precautions.Absolutely nothing!

I would say there was nothing I liked but if I have to give an answer I would say I liked that my family was not more devastated when our vacation was ruined because the rental was cancelled. There was nothing to like about having my reservation cancelled because of a supposed "system error".This survey and follow up is just another example of the non-existent customer service. How can you possibly ask for a review when you ruined our vacation? We had to have a large vehicle to take our whole family. The fact you cancelled it and provided no alternative the day before our trip??? After booking the reservation, taking time off of work and getting the approved absences for an extra day for our children, plus organizing a place to stay, we received a call the day before our pick up telling us they didnt have the vehicle or any vehicle the size we were requesting because they oversold due to fall break. I asked what they would do about it, they said they could refund my money but that was all since it wasnt their fault. I asked who's fault it is and received no answer. In the midst of the stress of the pandemic my family was really looking forward to this trip. No fix, not their fault. This was extremely disappointing. To add salt to the wound a day later I received a confirmation of the billing for the insurance for the vehicle that they couldnt rent to me in the first place. I called the customer service only to be told i had to call another number and another number and was transferred to another number and then was "accidentally" disconnected. I googled the insurance company directly and was ready to lose it but there i found someone who took ownership and fixed it. What a disaster. No way I would recommend this service unless you understand that its a one way deal. You are held to their terms and conditions with no way to hold them accountable or even have confidence you will get what your contract says or anything at all. My only recommendation is when they screw it up check your statement so that you get your money back otherwise it appears they will have no problem just keeping your money.

Helpful and friendly staff, quick in-and-out, great balueBecause the strip mall where National is located is busy, you have to be a little careful where you park when returning the vehicle. This is VERY clearly marked and the staff makes sure you know about it....and this is really the only thing I can think of that is even slightly negative.

The car was fantastic. And I could return it locally. I wish I could have picked it up locally as well, but I got it nonethelessI DID NOT KNOW I needed a credit card only to pick up my car at the airport. I have a debit/credit card and it was not accepted. I was almost stranded at the airport with no ride and no car to leave with. It was humiliating and horrible. Please do better of clarifying that rule.

Enterprise in Noblesville is a great business. They did a great job with customer service & making sure my car rental was perfect. I will say what was a disappointment is this online service thru Kayak. I was able to book a car thru Kayak, received my emailed confirmation that my rental was available & would be ready at my designated Enterprise location & designated time. But when I arrived there, they didn't have the rental I was confirmed to receive. This was no fault of theirs, & I ended up renting another vehicle from Enterprise. But, if Kayak says they work with the car rental services to offer the best deals available, they might want to have real time car rental availability of vehicles. I even called Kayak customer service & all the agent said was they have nothing to do with what Enterprise has available & I would have to direct my concerns to Enterprise directly. No help at all! Not going to use this service again. I got a better price & much better service contacting the Enterprise store directly that I rented from. Great job Enterprise Noblesville! Bad job Kayak, boo!!

I was called 90 minutes before I was scheduled to pick up my rental. I was told they wanted me to pick up my car later than I had initially requested because they had a shortage of cars. I told them I would be unable to pick it up later as I had out of town appointments to get to. The agent said he would make some calls and call me back. I waited about 30 minutes and, no call back. I called the agency - no answer, got a recording that all the agents were busy. I left a message/waited a little longer, no call back. I needed the car in about 1/2 hour from then. I went on line made a reservation with another company and picked up my car 20 minutes later.

I like how easy Hertz is. I was in and out with no issues. But I'd also really appreciate if Hertz, and every rental company for that matter, would clean the inside windows for once. Every rental I get in has smears, smudges, and overspray from the interior cleaner on the windows. It's super annoying especially when driving in rain, into the sun, or at night. Clean windows go a long way and I'd appreciate attention to that detail. Also, when dropping my car off at the airport, there was nobody there to greet me. In fact, other renters thought I was the Hertz rep. I didn't know what to do and neither did others.

When we got to the address provided for pickup (Carmel Indiana) There was a note on the door say the office was closed and to go to the location in Indianapolis. Which is only 20 mins away but having to take an Uber and having to deal with that was a pain with luggage and a car seat and an 18 month toddler. We made it to Indianapolis and the staff was okay. No apology about the location (not their fault) an email would have been nice. The car was fine. It was obvious a quick clean as there was still dirt on the outside and some crumbs on the inside. Had a strong smell, which we later came to the conclusion that it was trying to cover up cigarette smoke. The car drove fine. Brakes were a little weird. And drop off in Kansas City was easy and the nice folks let us drop it off at a different location. They were really nice. I probably wouldn’t go with hertz again bc it cost us extra and was a pain.

Easy check in process. I liked the early return process. Matt did a good job going through everything. He tried to make right the van not being cleaned yet. Van options were very nice. Hands free/Blue-tooth phone capabilities and plenty of room for luggage and 4 people to stretch out in. We liked having the tuck away 3rd row seats. Leather seats made for easy cleaning. Overall, the van performed better than expected.Matt was nice, seemed overwhelmed at the time. The lobby was full, it was spring break, and the van I was to get was not able to be cleaned yet. Matt asked me if I wanted to wait. I declined and took the van as is. He gave me a free car wash voucher. We walked through the pre-rental and took pictures of the exterior of the van. Minor knicks and dings (standard where and tear on a 50,000 mile vehicle) were noted. I spent my 1st 2 hours cleaning out big dog hair from the last customer and wiping down everything. I was not mad nor did I call to complain.

NopeEverything. They had vans, but all needed oil changes. The one available was sold. I was offered a midsize sedan (even though I prepared for faster pickup) vendor seemed offended that I refused a midsized Sedan at the cost of a van.Location is a mile from service location I use frequently for my personal vehicles and they take maybe 45 on a busy day. I was told to come back in several hours to get a vehicle. Delayed my Vacation past My schedule pickup time. This time I called in to be told. Vehicles were still unavailable and that they had drivers sent to Kokomo to get a van. Called the auto shop and was informed no vans were there from the vendor. Called the vendor back to cancel my vacation and was informed they’d cancel my trip with no fees. As they were hanging up I overheard. “Oh fuck this guy, he pre-payed”. I then fought the Hertz phone system 3 days later to learn I’d been charged and the location hadn’t cancelled as they said they would, finally got corporate hertz to cancel. Would rather chop a foot with a rusty spoon than deal with HERTZ again, 0 out of 5 stars

Absolutely nothingI never received my prepaid car because they gave it to another customer prior to me getting there. This is the worst experience I have ever had in any service or retail transaction. After spending 3 hours and 26 minutes on the phone with both Hertz and Kayak

DisappointedThe car didn't break down.1) The desk attendant was unhelpful. He only had answers for things that related to him up-selling me and was unwilling to make any suggestions otherwise. 2) The car was filthy. They made a big deal about it coming back from the car wash, but there were wood chips scattered all throughout the back, grease smeared into the seats, filth in the drink holders, and the car smelled like an ashtray. We had to air it out overnight and cover the seats with blankets for our kids to ride. BTW- we took pictures to prove we weren't exaggerating this. 3) The car had one working power outlet. There were several throughout the car, but only one was able to provide anything. We needed it to keep our phone alive for directions on a 14 hour drive, so nothing else was able to run/be charged. 4) No one at Hertz could help us. The desk attendant couldn't be bothered to leave his seat to do a walk-around. When we got the car home and saw how bad it truly was, I spent an hour on the phone trying to find someone at Hertz who could make this right. I kept getting forwarded to people who were "in the wrong department for this" and then sent on again. I gave up after being forwarded for the fifth time. The only time I ever got someone to acknowledge they would take my complaint was after the car had been returned. 5) This wasn't even the car I asked for. I called to confirm this rental and was told it would be a Chrysler TnC. I got a Kia. When I complained about this to the attendant, his only response was, "well, my sister got one and she loves it." After driving this car 1750 miles, I can tell you the only thing it has in common with a Chrysler TnC is they both have wheels. This van handled poorly and ran loud, and it required constant fill-ups. The mileage was poor at best, and had I known I would be a victim of bait-and switch, I never would have gone through Hertz in the first place. I rent a lot. I'm a sales rep and that means lots of flying and driving. I normally use Enterprise, and as so-so as they are, I've never had this level of poor customer service with them.
