Pros: Room was large, clean, and very suited to our dog. Great restaurant on premises.
Pros: vintage rooms, restaurant was excellent
Cons: parking was almost non-existent
Pros: How it was decorated, friendly staff
Cons: Everything was great, I can think of anything I didn't like
Common Man Inn and Restaurant is a great choice for a stay in Claremont. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. All rooms feature jetted tubs and room service.
Pros: Excellent place to stay to visit Okemo and Killington
Cons: General had no butter and only holiday spiced beer...during the three days I spent they did not replenish. The staff did not have or could not get permission to restock. Pass on apps at resteruant but do get main entrees ...bar was out of Jack Daniels??
Pros: Excellent room for price. WiFi works well in and out of the hotel. Bandwidth is good enough to video chat. Very scenic in the mountain get away. Good 8ft pool and running trail.
Cons: No cell phone reception. Easy fix is to use WiFi to text using app.
Pros: Location was beautiful. Mountains right outside the windows. Would be great during winter as the ski slopes are right outside.
Cons: Main building was under construction and closed. Was not aware of this before arrival. Restaurant and Arcade were in main building and therefore closed also. Had to travel off the mountain to town for any dining.
Pros: The location, the views and there was no cell service.
Cons: They say the rooms have fireplaces, when in fact all they are is an electric insert into a converted gas fireplace. Hard to have a romantic get away with the wife with an electric fireplace.
unless you ski there is little to do at this hotel.
Pros: Staff were friendly and cordial.
Cons: The place was built for a ski resort but the resort closed so it is miles from area attractions. Bathroom was small. T.V. reception poor.
Cons: Showed up at 4:15. Still had to wait another hour before I could enter my room. Check ins started at 3pm. Staffing in restaurant needed more employess took 2 hours total to dine.
Very far off beaten path but awesome room.
Pros: Awesome villa. Extremely clean.
Cons: Maybe you should tell people the ski area is closed. People upstairs drunk and obnoxious. Too bad that we got up at 4 and did not worry about waking them....
The hotel was in a great location and offered a variety of things to do. The room was cluttered and disappointing with a small bathroom, a dirty pullout couch, but was replete with cooking essentials. Staff was reluctantly helpful when approached with complaints about crumbs and whole crackers in the pullout couch. Their compensation was complimentary breakfast coupons to a completely lackluster buffet. If I had to pay for it; iI would have demanded my money back. The tavern was severely over-priced with small portions and food devoid of any flavor. The kids burger was the size of a small breakfast sausage on an oversized bun. Finally, a deposit of $115.00 Was authorized on my credit card after I had already paid for the entire stay prior to my arrival! I was assured that this would be released immediately upon check out and it has been a couple of days already. I was not told about this upon booking the reservation. When questioned, they said it was because it was a timeshare. I am part of a premier vacation club and they do not even do Take a deposit.
Pros: The kitchen area was clean and stocked with ample cookware.
Cons: Went to open up couch for my kids to sleep in and pullout was covered in crumbs and whole crackers. Food in tavern was over priced, small portions and unpalatable. The 'breakfast buffet', which you have to pay for, was sparse And disappointing.
As a person who manages a hotel property, I have developed a keen sense in evaluating a property. This hotel is in a great location and offers competitive amenities. The property itself is designed and maintained beautifully, unfortunately the decor and appliances used on site are of poor quality and cheapen the experience. Breakfast was not appealing, the selection offered were also poorly prepared (ex. over cooked eggs). Surprisingly, this property did not offer a dnd sign in the room. I would recommend that the property place courtesy calls to their guest during the stay, to ensure customer satisfaction. I also contacted the property regarding a lost and found item; I provided the shipping information and credit card for payment. Seventy-two hours later I have not received an updated, so I am unsure if the issue has been resolved.
Pros: The room attendant was geninuely kind and helpful during our stay.
Cons: The checkout time was not clearly stated nor printed on premise. The day of our departure the front desk agent called the room regarding a billing issue, yet failed to realize that the error was caused on the hotels part. No apology was offered
Great overall impression!
Pros: Super staff! Loved the room/suite and the wonderful area. Manager was extremely helpful with a room switch. Great experience that I will gladly repeat again in the future!

Cons: The reception staff were not very friendly or reaching out with suggestions for out of town visitors. Also the check in time is too late at 4pm.
Pros: This was a really wonderful Inn. Friendly staff and beautiful room. It was a lovely little town to visit.

Pros: Beautiful lodge and decorations. Very clean and cozy.
Cons: Bathroom in our double bed room is too small. There's extra charge for my kid to stay in our room.
Pros: I love staying at the Okemo Inn. Ron the owner is always so pleasant and friendly. The Inn has alot of character. Always look forward to going there.
Pros: Charming building and location - felt like visiting a relative more than staying in a hotel. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was substantial and tasty.
Cons: No television in the room (not a deal-breaker, but would have been nice to have) and Wifi was weak, at best.
Pros: Warm welcome, great breakfast, always around, clean rooms, couldn't find anything wrong with the place. Definitely staying there again.

Pros: Cute motel in the Vermont woods! Stayed for one night in the budget room, small and older but perfect for the price, can't beat it! Would definitely come back to stay again if skiing in the area. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating!!
Pros: Just great people who run this place, and, being relatively new owners (this is their first summer), they're around all the time and very generous, helping with my travel plans, extending breakfast a few minutes, offering coffee to take away, etc.
Most importantly, though, this place just has a clean, great, retro vibe. None of the fancy, new off-gassing generic decor. Real wood dressers and desks, vintage photo prints, etc. But also with some newer rugs and colorful walls in common spaces. This place hasn't been "let go" -- quite the opposite. New owners seem to be restoring and putting lots of love in it, even new TVs. A great yard and view -- you can even BBQ there, or just lounge in the comfortable chairs on the covered loft. It's a wonderful place, and very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Cons: What's not to like? You know how they say, "When in Rome..."? Well, when in Vermont, stay at a place like this, rather than finding some big corporate chain hotel full of generic furniture, views of overlit parking lots, and employees who turnover every 2 months.
Pros: Owner was very friendly and personal. He worked with us for a late check in. Beds were comfy.
Cons: TV was crap, really grainy image with lines across the screen. Not a big deal tho since we spent most time outside. Bathroom door didn't close or lock.

Pros: Clean, convenient, friendly, had character - i.e. not your big chain hotel.
Cons: CoffeeMate instead of cream for the complimentary coffee. Ugh.
Comfortable room by the highway, across the street from the 4th best rated restaurant(of 27)in town.
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Had to have management repair the night latch and replace the shower head. They were very apologetic and took cage of the problems quickly.

Pros: Perfectly located less than one mile from Okemo and directly on the shuttle route. Michael, Irene, and Marlowe are very welcoming. My polite, quiet 8 year old son was very welcome and enjoyed himself. However, this is a quiet B&B and rambunctious children would be bored.
