Breakfast made just for you. Coffee in the AM prior to wakeup was ready to go. Breakfast is from 8-9 but we had to be out before 7:30. This was no problem for them, they got up early and served us at 7. We woke up to the smell of freshly cooked bacon!!! There's nothing not to like. 3 great options for dinner nearby, all walkable. Lot's of police presence in the area would be my only gripe. Seemed to be hassling out of state drivers. We only stayed a night as a last minute reservation, but for the price this place was amazing. Chris, the inn operator's daughter, was super helpful and was enthusiastic. Breakfast was our choice of Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs, Bacon and Sausage. Yum! We came back from dinner to find the inn's resident cat asleep next to the bed, and he seemed really friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and the skiing the next day. ski in ski out location, fireplace in room, kitchen to have breakfast or lunch right from ski area when they said 5pm check in they meant it, front desk clerk said they were getting the room ready, I guess they were hanging new cobwebs in it for us, daily maid service was making bed and bringing new bathroom linen (no vacuuming, etc) home away from home right on the ski slope, parking was across the street so you had to park infront of hotel to unload and then repark your car. This vacation has far exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were perfect and the staff was amazing! We booked 2 nights and ended up adding a night each day...we check out today after 5 nights. They honored our rate each night. Incredible! We checked in on Dec.18 and checked out on Dec. 23. If you are going near Christmas, I HIGHLY recommend coming before the 21st or 22nd. The first 4 days were super quiet and slow. In fact, we signed my boys up for 'group' ski lessons, but b/c it was so slow, they ended up with private ones! By the 22nd, the crowds hit and it was crazy! Not bad crazy, just enough for us to realize that we will come back during slow time again. I really can not say enough good things--it was the best vacation our family has EVER had!
