Loved the hotel's landscaping and the deign of the facility. I've never seen a landscaping crew work as hard, and their efforts showed. Liked the pool a lot as well. The staff's professionalism can really be improved. They weren't rude but They need to work on the little things. My wife asked the front desk for a list of the costs associated with the hotel's laundry service. The guy at the front desk says "it's found in the closet near the tv" (which it wasn't). This is supposed to be a five star hotel. Other places would apologize and quickly go find a list for their guests, instead of fault the blame on their guests. Additionally, there is no hair conditioner in the hotel's bathroom. I understand that some may not require this, but I'd be willing to bet a good portion of the hotel's guests do. You have to personally request conditioner from the hotel's maid service. Weird. And finally, their drink pool service has a lot to improve upon. I had to go to the hotel's other bar on the other side of the hotel to get drinks by the pool. On the last day of my stay, the hotel staff told me I could call that bar and they would deliver drinks over to the pool, but when I called, no one answered.
The architecture and decor is suberb. The attention to detail is beyond description. Location is wonderful. It is wonderfully tranquil and reminded me of the Lost City in Beijing.
very nice hotel, big rooms, nice bathroom, nice swimingpool, was great with a littlle kid. massage was not so good. we also paid more for the tour we booked trough the hotel than guests from other hotels.
Very attentive, friendly and accomodating staff. Excellent little attached restaurant with good breakfast and very talented dinner chef.
We booked quite a while ago and got a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite on arrival. The room was great and we really enjoyed the hotel and lovely pool during the very busy light festival. The breakfast was OK...but nothing to get too excited about! Maybe the breakfast could do with some improvement. But the other food we had during our stay was great.
Very Nice staff. Beautifully arranged hotel. We loved the koi's swimming in front of our room. Great breakfast. Small but nice pool. At night with the lights on it's even prettier! Everything very clean! We had problems with the shower. It was from hot going to cold and back to hot and so on. We think it was due to the other guests. On moment when there where no other guests taking a shower the problem was much less.
very good value for money, excellent restaurant, nice cosy room, very central
The best is the location in the heart of Chiang Mai combined with absolute quietness. Lack of small spa
dark woods including parket flour, intimate, nice swimming pool, value for money due to its special location a lot of moskitos on arrival
Clean, convenient and good value for money. Good swimming pool and rooms were spacious and comfortable The cleaning staff stole my watch - do be very careful with valuables
The Bodhi Serene is centrally located and good for exploring Chiang Mai. The rooms are large, decorated in a nice traditional thai style and have a very large bath. The hotel has a nice boutique feel and atmosphere. The hotel room rate I got was good value and I would stay again.
The hotel is absolutely "serene". Everything is spotless and the atmosphere is perfect for quiet relaxing. A great base (central location) to visit the centre of Chiang Mai and surroundings. The rooms are large with excellent airco and a nice balcony facing the garden. Every room has a large round hot tub. Free WIFI at the pool and on your balcony and free use of internetcomputers. They have a great breakfast with different hot meals and a wide range of fruits and also choice in sweat pastry. There's a cook at the counter to prepare your egg's or pancake just the way you like it. We paid 2400 THB a night which is not much for the high standards in this hotel.
Helpful informative staff, great room & location
Calm, well-designed, open-plan boutique hotel with wonderful garden, pool, breakfast area and water feature. The wifi worked well and was free. The location was very central, near the nightmarket, old walls and canal. The staff were wonderful. We liked everything about the hotel !
The matress was a little too hard to the point that I started feeling pain on my neck.
Loved this place. Great staff and location, lots of restaurants nearby, Sunday Walking Street close as well. They treated us and our three young kids genuinely kid and nice. Changing rooms due to closeness to a pub was no problem. Great breakfast, nice pool.
the hotel really is serene. The gentle atmosphere and its central location make it an excellent choice for Chiang Mai
Location was great, busy during the day quiet at night. Pool was nice The rooms were really small for what we paid, breakfast was poor and not up to its reviews and raves. Service was ok - some people were fantastic while the others where somewhat rude.wish there were more lounge chairs by the pool... The soaps were weird and they make such a big deal about it . They didn't really replenish it. They left our room service outside of our room for more than two days.
The Sirilane Hotel is one the most romantic boutique hotels I have ever seen.
The beautiful "lanna" style of building, which is complemented by the beautiful and attentive staff. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights. The room was bright and airy, however a little too bright in the morning and could use some "block-out" curtain fabric.
Great staff,nice atmosphere, stylish ambiance
Friendly staff, decent breakfast, close to sites and shopping.
Small scale, excellent location, quiet, friendly staff, nice lanna style decoration, good breakfast buffet.
This hotel almost provides everything we need, but charge is expensive. For example, the Internet service, 240baht per hour. airport pick up: 200baht per person per way. For facility, it is enough, especially a swimming poor. I don't have chance to swim, but it is good, anyway. The location is nearby Chiangmai wall and gate, very close Sunday walking market. It is good. But it is far from Night bazza and shoping mall. No one is familiar in Chinese. My friend doesn't know English. She met big problem when checkin. I think many Chinese traveller come Chiangmai. Chinese is important languge for customer satisfaction improvement.
They overbooked and when arrived at 1030pm tired from our flight they sent us in a car to another hotel. It would have been forgivable had it been another 4 star or better but it wasn't. It was a dirty 3 star at best. After traveling for weeks I had been looking forward to two nights in one spot. It was a hassle to have to repack and get the car back to the Amora in the morning. They offered no refund, they claimed to have upgraded us for our second and final night but the only difference was a higher level floor. Hardly an upgrade. The management staff had no service skills. They were very unreceptive to complaints.
