The location was great for what we needed it for, valet and bellhop were friendly and accommodating
The housekeeping schedule was very odd. We were expecting something in the morning or afternoon but had no housekeeping the first day and a half, didn’t even get housekeeping or an attempt at it until the night before we left, which would’ve happened between 7:30 and 9:30 that night while we were out.
Honestly nothing friendly and officious staff, gregarious even.
Good location, ok hotel.
Location was great. This is the reason why this place is worth it.
Bathroom was dirty. Sound got through the walls really easy (couple next door and construction next building)
It’s near of all the shops and businesses.
The sink is clogged and faucet handle is loose.
We like the very kind and courteous staff. We did like that they moved us to a new room when we requested to be moved. We like the price point and the location.
We didn't like that they put us on a floor where they were doing construction right outside the window. We didn't like that there was water damage and mold on the wallpaper by the window. We didn't like the beds were uncomfortable.
Location was convenient to activities I was doing
Very dark on our floor. Felt haunted! The bathroom had the feel of a public bathroom
Hope you like construction
Being close to the parks. The loop is very walkable.
They changed our reservation for a suite with two beds and a pull out couch to 1 king bed. Could not find the 3rd party email to show them this was wrong, had to pay an "upgrade fee" to get what we had already paid for. The Willis tower has over 105 elevator cars, this place had 3 and one of those was not working. 2 elevators that served 15 floors. Housekeepers very kind, but you never see them until late in the afternoon/evening. Had to call down for towels every day of our stay. Had an awesome view: of the construction right outside of our window. Good news, the crews don't work weekends. Bad news: they work late in the day. Interior is dated. Beds are hard.
We walked everywhere. This is great to see the city.
I needed a plug for my CPap to sleep at night and there were none by the beds. I called for an extension cord but never got it. Had move things around to sleep.
The staff was excellent. ALL staff members were superior in their performances from checking to cleaning staff everyone was helpful. The concierge service was extremely knowledgeable of the area and transportation and very helpful.
The new construction taking place in the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and were in a great location.walking distance from many museums.
The bed was hard and awful. The hotel was in severe need of renovation. Not your typical 3 star hotel. More like a 2 star. Other guests are loud and the walls are paper thin. I would never stay here again.
Great for the price
It was a clean place to lay your head at night. The staff was nice and courteous. The TV and refrigerator were modern and worked well.
The construction around the hotel is pretty scary. The heating system of the hotel is ancient and it was hard to get to a comfortable temperature without opening the window.
Location is excellent for access to all Chicago has to offer. They are renovating and the construction noice was a bit tedious. My room was clean and adequate but there were visible signs of disrepair.
Cracked drywall, buckled ceiling and signs of water damage on one wall.
