Upon arrival the heat was turned off in all rooms. It was approximately 45 degrees in the room and took over 5 hours to heat up. Some rooms rented the heat was either hot or cold, it did not automatically stabilize heat setting. There was no heat in the hallways between rooms. Family had made reservations for 3 rooms and when arrived all the reservations we missing. Hotel is one of two in the town and the only one with an elevator.
Listened to the next rooms TV most of the night, Hard to get any sleep.
It had a convenient location. The hotel was cleaner than the last time we stayed there. They will never be competitive until they come up with a better breakfast. The bathroom floor was sticky. The whole place feels a bit worn.

Right close to i35
Price Breakfast was unimpressive
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I also liked the hotel's proximity to Taco Bell and other businesses. The room felt warn out. The bath tub for instance had significant wear on the bottom that made it slippery.
Updated rooms Confusing entry from road
About the only thing good about this hotel is it seemed like the sheets were clean and the bed was comfy. If you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke find somewhere else to stay. The entire hotel smells like stale and fresh cigarette smoke. Reserved a No-Smoking room but was surrounded by smoking rooms. Bathrooms are in need of updating and poor drainage.
Close to where we were going. Small rooms, Old dingy rooms. Over priced for what you get. Would not stay there again.
It had a beautiful rustic charming look inside and out. Now the bad: • lots of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. • window was halfway open when I entered the room and it was 20 degrees out with cold win blowing. • after I checked out, later that day I received a phone call from the motel stating the couldn't find my room entry card and they were going to bill me for a replacement one. I told the lady on the phone that it was left on the counter next to the sink in the room when I left but she stated they were still billing me because house keeping never turned one in.
