Loved the breakfast!
Pros. The location was convenient to the trolley station, but pretty far from everything else.
Cons. The bed was EXTREMELY too soft - to the point where I sunk in pretty deep and had an achy back when I woke up. The building was pretty old, as well and it looked like a converted apartment building. The entrance and parking weren’t very convenient either, as you had to use the room key to get in and out and the parking area was pretty small

Pros. I needed a place to stay for the night and found The Hercor Hotel on one of those online booking sites. I liked the reviews it received so I thought I would give it a try. This hotel has changed greatly from what I remember many years ago. The rooms are comfortable and VERY nicely furnished. The bed is comfortable, shower is spacious and the air conditioner works well to keep the room comfortable and there is large tv for viewing. Free HOT breakfast is available in the lounge. I recommend The Hercor Hotel for anyone looking for a nice place to stay that is close to all the shopping and entertainment (i.e Movie Theaters) here in town.
Pros. I loved the room and the unique decor!!! It was super nice and clean and I loved the security of the parking
Cons. The 10pm quiet policy was a no go for me. I felt like I was told that I had to be quiet. Also the older lady that works the front isn't very friendly. The night girl she is super nice and has a great personality.
Pros. The room was very nicely updated. There's an iPod dock and cable TV. An armor has plenty of space for a suitcase, clothes, and features a full length mirror. The bed was comfortable and I absolutely loved the shower. Their breakfast is great too and is featured until 11am - a huge plus to those that sleep in.

Pros. Staff was the most kind and helpful and the facility was great and clean.
Pros. The hotel was a fifteen minute drive from Gaslamp which was where we spent New Years Eve. It was a cute little hotel that you'll see the minute you turn from the freeway. It's hard to miss the bright red accent on its exterior. They do have a "private" parking "structure." I have quotation marks because the spots in the structure are really small. The good thing is you need a key card to access the parking area. The lobby is small but cozy. The front desk staff was great both on the night we checked in and the day after. We were offered champagne and water during check in - probably cause it was New Years. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. The flooring was carpet which was a first for me. The bathroom space were well utilized i.e. it was small but you weren't bumping into anything.
Cons. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but there wasn't a fridge of any sort which took away the possibility of bringing take out back to the room with us. The sink was a tad shallow.
Pros. We always enjoy are stay. Accommodation's are always available. And the rooms are very clean. Plus, we are close to beaches, malls and resturants.
Cons. The rooms were a bit small.
