Cons: The lack of customer service through out our stay was very disappointing. When we checked in, I was asked if I wanted our bags brought to our room; I asked if it would take long and I was assured they would be brought right up. After waiting 30 minutes and calling down two times I went down to the lobby and got our things and brought them up to the room myself so my children could go to the pool. When our room was serviced, we were left with no towels and no toilet paper. I had to call down and ask for these items and it took 40 mins for them to be delivered.

Cons: I would not go back to the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Fl. and I would not recommend to anyone. Paying for parking everyday, eleven days in my case at $25 a day plus resort fees. I'm sure this was in the fine print somewhere? So if you think you are getting a room at a reasonable rate, you are NOT. Never again!

Cons: The outside areas were very tired, there was only one hot tub located on the 16th floor, very difficult to get a spot as it was quiet small for such a large hotel. We booked a suite on the 17th floor, the outside deck area was beyond dirty. We ordered room service breakfast, served on cardboard plates, it was cold, avocado toast was not toasted, portions were very small, toast was soggy, overall not nice and the worst hotel room service/breakfast I’ve ever had, not what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber, however, I have to give credit where it’s due, as at checkout they refunded the breakfast charge which I was really happy about.

Cons: We would have liked it if the Hyatt had a better restaurant inside. The one they have is small and the menu was very limited. Also, a hot tub would have been very nice, we were surprised that there wasnt one.

Pros: The rooms were exceptionally clean. Each room was sound proof so you could not hear any noise from other guest around you. Having a balcony was a huge plus. The views from that balcony were gorgeous. Watching the sunrise and sunset were the highlights of our day. The beach was right across the street and the accommodations were phenomenal! Overall this was one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in. It is definitely worth every penny!

Pros: On arrival which was earlier than check in Gretchen was most helpful even though she was busy and the manager assisted me successfully with a problem with my credit card. All the staff are very pleasant and happy and cannot do enough to help Harbour view is amazing the sun was on the balcony all morning and great to sit out on while you have a coffee and watch all the sea birds and activities taking place. Room was beautifully clean and fresh the staff were lovely . Pool area is in the shade a lot but the water is lovely and warm. Jimmys bar up on the roof was great as is the little bar at the end of the harbour up pass the boat trips the chef was filleting the fish feeding scraps to the pelicans that was amazing !!

Pros: Breakfast was diverse. Very helpful and polite staff all around the hotel. Spacious and clean room. Just a short walk from Clearwater beach.

Cons: Plastic cutlery and tableware at breakfast is always a turn off. The difficulty of getting a cab ride from the hotel to Bilheimer Capitol Theater.

Pros: The room was nice and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty decent too.

Cons: The housekeepers kind of touched our stuff that didn’t need to be touched. My daughter had a tooth fall out and I had it set aside in the bathroom, and the housekeepers threw it away. They also took out the extra blankets that I requested be put in there. In my experience in housekeeping, you clean around the guests belongings and I feel like they did not follow this. Other than that the room was very clean.

Cons: We were booked for 3 nights and had paid $950.00 for the 3 nights. After the second night the hotel staff informed us at lunch that we had to get out of the room immediately. That we only had 2 nights reserved. The staff was rude and it was not good. As an attorney, we informed the manager that our airplane did not leave until the next morning and we had a contract for the night. We did not leave but had to produce all our paper work from Kayak. We never even received an apology. Poorly handled. Plus we are frequent travelers who now have a bad taste in our mouths. I don't know if this was a Kayak problem or hotel problem, but it was unacceptable.

Cons: My room smelled like urine, the hotel is pet friendly and you could smell urine strongly in the room. I had also paid more for a room with double beds and when the original room only had one bed. The hotel ended up upgrading me to a suite.

Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view from our balcony was if the beach and the club beneath us. The pool was very clean. On Sunday's they reserve it for hotel guests only......as far as the night club, they play a lot of techno but on Sundays they changed it up. Ohhh I almost forgot about the cheap drink specials. You cannot beat a 2 dollar drink. The resort was awesome all in all. You never need to leave the premises. But if you don't like loudness at night in your room from the music, ask to not stay on the same side as the club.

Pros: Loved the showers!! We stayed in fort Myers at a condo, then due to bad weather we decided to head to Clearwater. Best decision ever! Took the key west express for a couple days and came right back to shepards! We will definitely be back!

Cons: Our first night my niece got a bunch of bug bites from sleeping on the pull out couch. The staff was kind and moved us but offered no reduce cost or special. My friend and her family stayed there and got upgraded for no additional cost. Was disappointed they did not give us any discount. My niece had huge bites that were not there prior to her sleeping there the first night.

Pros: Location. Beautiful spot in a beautiful place. Although no direct beach access from the hotel, it is within walking distance. Walking access to many locations. Views, pretty much the best thing. Hotel pool. Wish it was more of a graduated depth pool but nice size and alternative to the beach while still being near the ocean. Drinks at pool are nice; not particularly kid friendly, but nice. Food on site. Jimmy's is pretty darn good food. Cleanliness of hotel. Price (highish but considering location...)

Cons: The staff were not the most friendly, pleasant or welcoming, but no one was overtly rude beyond the staff who performed the check-in process and even that was relatively mild. The beds were uncomfortable. The laundry facilities closed at night although this was not reflected in the materials in the room or signage on/near the door. Room size was a bit small. Parking being limited and $20 per day, same as non-guests. Price (although that is relative to the market)

Our room was right above Jimmy's restaurant in the hotel and on friday night there was a band that played from 7-11pm. It was very loud! Finally, I had an orange microfiber towel hanging to dry in the bathroom and the maid took it when she was in cleaning our room??? Not like it could be mistaken for the white hotel towels??? High cost to stay for such poor quality room.

Cons: Extremely poor handicap rooms. Reported a safety issue in the bathroom and was told it “could not be fixed” and nothing they could do about it. I pre booked to make sure the room would have what I needed and also called the very night before we came to double check and was assured I would be safe. I was not and could only use the shower with my daughter’s assistance.

Pros: The suite was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully functional and had a full size refrigerator freezer which was a great advantage for a family of 4 staying at the resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was quiet and peaceful, another positive for a family vacation. Free parking for one vehicle also a major plus.

Cons: First off, the rooms look classy, modern and new on the website, but they’re more like an old run down motel. The bed was so bad I couldn’t sleep. Two beds in the room so I tried the other and it was tolerable enough for me to doze off for 3 hours. Kids were throwing a football outside at 12am and adults were drinking (right outside my door and many others is the pool area). After the 5th time they bounced the football off my window I called the front desk who said they’d take care of the people outside. The football stopped but the adults stayed outside drinking and laughing for another hour and a half. Worst nights sleep of my life.

Pros: The beach was beautiful.

Cons: We checked into our room and it was filthy. Bed sheets were dingy and different colors. The one sofa in the room had stains all over it. When we went down to complain the front desk person said that he could upgrade our room for $60.00 more. We went to look at that room and it was still dirty but not as bad. The wood work was missing pieces and the TV was hanging off the wall. It was not secured properly. The front desk person told us that it was hard for them to compete with the other hotels on the area. I told him that was no excuse. We had to take the room for that night due to he told us we could not cancel. We did find a hotel for the near night for the same price as this dump and it was gorgeous!! I complained to he manager the next day and he did refund us our $60.00 upgrade fee which I still feel was not enough. We should have been refunded for the room since neither were clean.

Pros: Fantastic location, great view from the pool and hot tub of the harbor inlet and the Gulf beyond. Really nice to have a small private beach for the price. Generally friendly staff, facility was quite clean. Appreciated the generous cancellation policy.

Pros: Mostly only had the one lady Saturday threw Teuesday at front desk she was A1 very friendly, well informed of things happening around town awesome. , The gentleman at front desk only seen twice,we was mostly on the beach or running, but he was also very helpful . The cleaning lady friendly. The people in the motel same way all different ages . No rowdy drunks.

Cons: Certainly an older hotel, could use some upgrades. Doors to the rooms appear to be about 50 years old and quite floppy. Limited amenities (no fitness center or complimentary breakfast). Very loud bar next door.

Cons: Hotel is older and very dated on inside. The room was ok but the Carpet was not clean. Carpets needs to be cleaned professionally through out the hotel.

Cons: WiFi was non existent and when mentioned to the staff the staff are aware the WiFi is poor and said it is like that all the time, extreme noise from the hotel next door to the point of you not been able to hear yourself think until gone 2am, it’s a shame as room are clean and suffice and the hotel did say they have tried and tried to get the hotel next door to turn the music down but have failed.

Cons: The unfortunate part is I was suppose to know that next door was the biggest spring break hotel on the island. I did not. I brought my 60 year old mother to Florida for spring training and every night the hotel next door had a show on the beach. The music is so loud an goes till almost am every night. So good luck sleeping!

Cons: Upon arrival, there was no one in the office to greet us. Our keys were kept in an envelope taped to the outside of the office door. We requested early arrival and arrived at 10:30 AM but received the wrong key. The preferred communication method was to text to the office staff. The office staff responded and said that the manager would not be in until between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to switch the keys. We had to leave our luggage outside the motel door. When we obtained access to the motel room, the shower head broke in half while using it for the first time. The office secretary, via text, responded that the housekeeper would check it out the next morning. However, we did not encounter any housekeeping our entire 8 day stay. There was another man's clothes inside the drawers that were not cleaned out from previous guests. The floors were dirty. The heater in the air conditioner did not work and made the room smell like smoke which set off the smoke detector.

Cons: There was absolutely no housekeeping. If you needed clean towels you had to get them yourself. We had cockroaches in our bathroom and the whole room looked like it had not been touched.
