My room was more than satisfactory, boasting incredible water views from every angle of the large balcony. Inside the room, I felt surrounded by elegance from the crisp white linens on the large king sized bed to the high end furniture choices used to compliment the large kitchenette. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious, perfect for relaxation after a long day on the adjacent white sand beaches. The staff, particularly my wait staff at Shor; Aki and Nate, as well as my bartender, Krystin; made me feel right at home as if I had known them for a lifetime. With their pleasant welcome and eagerness to make my vacation as enjoyable as possible, it was easy to see why this resort is so highly rated. I will most definitely arrange for another stay soon to revisit this beautiful resort and its amazing staff and will be sure to recommend the Hyatt Regency in the future.
Staff excellent!!!! Fixed my problem with a bonus. Love those guys at the Hyatt...Worth every pretty penny! My reservation from Bookit.com did not arrive in time for my arrival. I waited in embarrassment for 45 min while trying to solve the problem over the phone. The manager took care of the problem later. I will never book a res with Bookit.com again!!!
We loved the room and view of the pool deck. The location is adjacent to a pristine beach, the beach walk and not far from shopping, dining and transportation. My wife got a shell massage at the Sandiva Spa, which she said was very nice and worth the expense. Our ice maker in our fridge didn't work, but the staff was helpful, fixed it quickly and brought us a bag of ice. The hotel dining was also very good. There were plenty of options, local flavors and the food was delicious. There was nothing, that I noticed or experienced, that detracted from our short vacation. It's an upscale resort in a resort town. So the hallway carpeting is worn and wrinkling, and there are nicks and scuffs here and there. If you're the type of person for whom perfection is your expectation, then stop here. You're better off building your own perfect resort from scratch. Save this one for the rest of us.
the facility was amazing and so was the pool the sheets were not changed in our hotel in 10 days. the hotel doenst have its own housekeeping staff it looks like. every day was a different maid.
Excellent food! Pool was not overcrowded, even on a holiday weekend. We were able to find a chair, no matter the time of day. Beautiful hotel. Friendly, gracious staff. Beds were comfy and we had more than enough pillows. Technically, the beach is across the street. But we had great views of the beach and the harbor, especially from the upper floors.
Pool view of ocean. Loud construction noise outside room starting at 730 am. Not worth $400/night to have to put up with that. No bar/lounge.
Beds were too firm Pillow were uncomfortable
ocean front - fantastic view, looking new / well maintained property, friendly staff very limited vegetarian food options, water and ice was not available in the pantry many times. did not see cookies even once. instead of charging a fee for the 3rd bicycle, you could provide something similar to Hyatt's Wheel Fun Rentals. You could challenge yourself with providing food and drinks at competitive price
The view was amazing best location on the beach also free bottled water on each floor Rooms were decent and comfortable but not resort luxury, to many kids running around felt like I was at a kids resort, resort fee covers fresh fruit never had any out on my floor in the pantry they have call ahead valet so it creates congestion with the cars and your stuck and can't leave .... Utter confusion
The hotel is new any so the rooms and facilities are in good order. The inclusive breakfast was basic and the reception staff indifferent.
Great hotel and staff! everyone very helpful. excellent location for everything very close to town and the beach was right across the street. only thing we didn't like was the breakfast not enough protein choices almost everything was very high in carbs but everything else was great
The room was clean, updated, and spacious. The balcony overlooked the harbor and view was great. Each morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast before we walked across the street to the beach
The location was phenomenal and the rooms were clean. The front desk staff and front desk manager were awful. I had two reservations under my name and they originally jad one on the 6th floor and one on the 9th. The check in agent then wanted to imprint my credit card and had a stack of inprinted cards on the desk. I did not feel that was safe and refused which then turned into an issue. There are two elevators for 10 floors and one is shared with housekeeping. You have to use your keycard to go up and it doesn't work half the time. For your money I would suggest booking elsewhere.
Loved the 10th floor bar, Jimmy's, for watching the sunset. Have good bartenders & a tasty frozen drink & beer menu. Friendly staff, free continental breakfast, very nice rooms, lots of towels, & comfy beds. Awesome views of harbor or beach (depending on which side you're on) . . . Harbor view rooms have balconies. Good business center, free Wi-Fi. All parking is coversed & is $16.00 per day but it's come & go. Very reasonable & convenient as City parking lots get very full in the evening. Highly recommend, great, fun place to stay. All in all 4.7 stars out of 5. No balconies on beach side rooms.
They were accommodating to us and quickly moved us to a new room when the lock on our original room had difficulties. Room was mostly clean other than a few hairs on the bathroom floor. The bed was pristine. Good location and good view from the front window. Not a bad hotel for the price. Though the view was decent, it is from the front window which is usually kept shut by people for privacy. We were under the impression it was a balcony view that we would be able to enjoy. The shower was terrible, it was probably the worst shower I've ever been in, there was never good pressure.
The location is good but this hotel is VERY dated. It's more of a spring-break style hotel. The images online were very misleading. First of all, the hotel looks nothing like the images pictured online. Secondly, our room was weird with a hodgepodge of furniture, (the two double beds were different sizes and styles). It just felt cheap.
The location is vreat and the prices are even better.
The location. It was in walking distance of everything! No breakfast and wifi was hard to connect to
Nothing There was mold all over the place, bodily fluids on the bedding, the desk clerk was extremely rude, we were locked out of our room after complaining about the hotel, the hotel is nothing like its described online: it's in the ghetto, not on the beach at all, the rooms are tiny. It's nasty!
The location is close to the beach and the attractions. Walking or bicycling is not a problem and everything is relatively convenient. The rooms were clean and neat. This was our second stay here. Both times haven't been bad. The staff is relatively friendly, though not too talkative. The bed was terrible with a huge hump in the middle. The first time we stayed here, the bed was decent. Don't know what happened this time! :(
Extremely noisy. Beds are hard as a rock. If you want any sleep at all, stay somewhere else.
The location was great The cleanliness of the bathroom was very unsatisfactory. Our towels had body hair in them and the shower was disgusting and have no water pressuse at all. The bed was very worn and had a huge slump in the middle of the mattress, we only slept 3 hours in total. When we approached management they were rude and disconcerted. We will not be visiting this hotel again.
I loved how close it was to the beach and fishing. There were bars near by, and a good crud of people. I did see nor run into ant A holes. The beach is perfect. I only paid $80 per night but this was in oct not the middle of summer. I'm sure the hotel coast way more any other time. The hotel was old/ extremely out of date. The only new thing was the tv.
Close to the beach. Easily accessible. Beds were not very comfortable. Air conditioning unit was extremely loud and walls were so thin we could hear the people in adjacent rooms talking.
location was excellent very friendly give me for free drink tickets and parking was $11 a day and if you valet parked it was $20 a day everything is in walking distance very reasonable on prices the beaches were excellent I couldn't say anything bad about this hotel everybody was really friendly I asked for a second bed and they headed up there within the hour and did not charge me for it you get a $20 resort C which includes your towels + 2 free bottles of water a day you have a refrigerator in the room I would go down to the store can buy a case of water in your shoulders and put them in the refrigerator that helps a lotthere is a Walgreens and a CVS Pharmacy
I loved the location! The beach was right there and everything was in walking distance The hidden fees they hit you with!
I enjoyed the location, pool, and on site Starbucks bar Hallway carpets were dirty and stained, room wasn't completely cleaned (dust around certain areas, empty candy wrappers next to bed). No place to hang your towel in bathroom. Some noise was around the hotel in the afternoon when my 3 yr old was taking her nap.
I liked the closeness to the beach and shopping/ restaurants. I also enjoyed the beach bar and restaurant. I did not like the poorly cleaned and outdated rooms. The pillows and beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. For $400 I would have loved to stay at a way nicer hotel.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, but the air conditioner unit are really loud. I thought the room was good and clean Way too expensive and the pool is crowded
Main hallway to room smelled like a zoo
The views of clearwater beach and surrounding area from our balcony were great!!! The hot tub as the sun is setting is fantastic and the restaurant prices are very reasonable and compare to other restaurants in the area. The towels are free for the beach but an umberella and 2 chairs for the day is $27!!!!! Abit of a rip off as its too hot to sit there without some shade.
The location was amazing, right on the beach. Everything was in close walking distance including restaurants, shopping and pier 60. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Perfect for weddings, a family adventure or a friends trip. Would recommend to anyone!
I like the fact it was behind the beach and it had a beach bar. I didn't like the fact my porch was dirty with bird poop. I asked the front desk if they can send someone to clean the porch but nobody ever arrived to clean porch. The access to the internet was a bit slow.
Great location. Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't like us we had to end our vacation.
Beds super comfortable - Staff very attentive and always helpful! Food selection and quality poor- not on par with resort or Hilton name.
Place is clean. The staff is very professional and friendly. The food was excellent.
The room was nice but being such a new hotel, there shouldn't have been stains on the carpet and in the corners the carpet was coming up. I pool was over crowed and no one was policing the chairs. Anyone from the beach (not staying at the hotel) could come use the pool even though they are not supposed to because there was no one checking and the gate did not lock. I saw at least 6 chairs where it was obvious they did were not staying at the hotel.
Had to wait to long to receive food at the bar.
Clean and quiet. Breakfast was basic and not good. Kitchen room was VERY unorganized. Need more counter space.
Loved the balcony beach view. Loved the size of the room, which had a separated living room. Loved the updated ceramic tiles in the bath and the fire pits around the 2nd floor pool. Can't wait to stay here again once they add the full bar at the pool. It was very close to restaurants and Pier 60. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was not that good and found that they would run out of coffee early. The Breakfast time was only from 7am. to 9am.
That it was on the beach. The cost for just a room, no fridge/microwave. Wifi was poor.
the staff were very attentive and nice. small i thought i booked double queen we had to share not very comfortable but a good value for the location
Love this place. Already planning our next trip here. We live about a hour away and this is a great place for a weekend getaway. Travis was super friendly and nice. In walking distance to everything. We didn't drive any where. Close to the pier the beach and lots of food places.
Location was great, clean, comfortable and the staff was great Nothing
The people running the property were amazing, the location being so close to everything was perfect and the heated pool wasn't bad... hands down best part was the squirrel living on the property! Was a little outdated and could have been a bit cleaner, just being picky.
The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Saw bugs in the bathroom which was a bit dirty and outdated.
Close to the beach Paying to use chairs and umbrellas
It had a private pool my room was in front of the pool and it was by all my favorite stores No

The location was awesome and the staff was friendly
Quiet, clean right on water we had a romantic evening..
Location is perfect. Pool is great. Nothing
Nothing. It was horrible. I was completely ripped off. It was expensive per night plus a resort fee for a complete DUMP!I would like some sort of compensation for this. Hated everything. I would appreciate if someone would contact me directly about this disgusting experience. Staff was rude, it was so small you couldn't move and it should have been destroyed years ago.
Location is just a few minutes from everything. The rooms are well maintained, clean and fresh. The same act was friendly and informative, and extremely helpful when I needed a change! No
Location was awesome
The housekeeper was good. I booked for 4, and did not get what I booked. The lady at the desk said they did not have a couch or a cot only a air mat. She lied to me, because they did. She told me if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else, but their properly all booked.
Close to beach Our room had bed bugs. Not a fun experience. I even took pictures of the bed bugs as proof.
It was close to where our event was. Close to beach and places to eat. Hotel employee was very nice and helpful. Phone didn't work. Ceiling fan didn't work. No glasses in bathroom for rinsing teeth after brushing.
Location was Great!!! Room was a run down motel. Toilet didn't flush. Bed was very uncomfortable. Construction across the street very noisy.
Location and price Rooms are very outdated, rusty railings, old windows sitting out in hallways. Paper thin walls, could hear everything neighbors talked about.
Prime location in Clearwater beach. Easy walk to restaurants and beach. Front desk clerk swore he only had two rooms left ... Both at $140+ ... When I mentioned that we'd found an economy room on Kayak, he said it wasn't possible. We booked through the site and then he suddenly saw that he had a room available. Could not get the water from the shower to come on, my partner went to the front desk to let them know and the morning clerk told him he would need to "wiggle and pull" the knob. If you are charging $100+ for a room, you should really fix the issues that you are already aware of.
I like the beach view and the price How my first room didn't work and then they switched us to a new room but it wasn't clean so then finally they gave us a bigger room and it was perfect.
Location was amazing, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and practically right on the beach walk. There's plenty to do for people of all ages and the views are unbeatable. As for the room, the bed was comfortable as well as the pillows and sheet set. I was ripped off as soon as I walked in the door. First off, when I booked my room online I specifically searched for a deluxe room with a microwave which included a free parking pass. When I arrived at the lobby, the first thing I was told was that it was $15 for parking or else I would be towed. After I gave up trying to negotiate and paid for the pass, I was given my room key as well as mediocre directions to my room. When i walked through the door i saw a very small room that fit the description of a regular room and not the one that i paid extra for. The bathroom was disgusting and had horrific lighting and also included multiple insects inside of the tub. The ceiling looked as if it had endured extensive water damage which created a terrible odor. Overall it was an ok stay but let's just say I went elsewhere to shower and did not have the desire to stay more than a day.
The bathroom toilet from the room above our room dripped into our bathroom when you using the toilet. My wife was not happy.
Close to the beach The continental breakfast was poor, bathroom was very small and worn, toilet ran, had to jiggle the level everytime, safe in the room did not work, no tissues, iron or ironing board supplied. The microwave set on a small shelf above the sink, the front of it would slip off the edge when you opened the door and it was plug into an outlet above the sink with no ground fault. There was no luggage rack to sit your suit case on and the closet did not have any doors. Very dated room with a no amenities. Pool area was okay. Would not recommend nor would I stay there again, this is a poor representation of the Magnuson hotel chain.
The staff was always very friendly and helpful throughout the four day stay. Room was cleaned nicely each day. Outside areas are dated but kept up and clean. Pool area was also kept clean. Staff gave us discount coupons upon arrival to help us unwind from a bad travel experience. There was a mix of families and singles. Maybe a leftover spring-breaker. Noise wasn't bad and to be expected considering the mix. Location is just off the beach (we had a view of the ocean and beach from our non-gulf front balcony) and within walking distance to south end shops and restaurants. It;s about a 20 minute walk to the nicer north end shopping district. About a ten minute walk to the Marina where a lot of charter trips, dining cruises, pirate ship, etc is located. This an average hotel so don't expect a five star experience. With that said, why pay two-three times the amount of money for a room you will be in just a fraction of time while in Clearwater Beach??!! This hotel also looked nicer than some of the other typical 50's/60's motels dotted around neighboring streets and which were charging more. Would recommend and stay again.Would also check out kayak again as we got a great deal on this hotel even though it was through some company I never heard of. All went smoothly. Don't expect a gourmet breakfast. Very basic and calorie laden. Get there before ten am. For the price of the room though it was more than adequate.
Location only shower faucet leaking and 3 burned lights, I complained and they did not change. Poor breakfast, should never say they have it
Amazing very very large room. Nice pool. Had a (city view) that overlooked the pool all the other rooms anddd THE WHOLE OCEAN AND BEACH. I would literally wake up in my bed and just from where One of the 2 giant mirrors were placed I could see the whole beach and its main entrance palm trees and the Ocean while they set up the cabanas n chairs. Walk out side to smoke niceview of thr rooms overlooking the pool. There were families down at thr pool but even with my anxiety never over crowded. We got there 8 hrs before check in and they let us pay to park our car right then so we could go to the beach and out and about without charging for that day or any extra just for the 3 nights stayed 15/night doesnt charge on chexk in days or out days. Syagf was soo nice. Always was nice helpful remembered you and was able to take care of any need very easy. Anything needed (chich was rare) was brought within 5 min up to the room. From room to beach is about 45 sec walk. And every restaurant we went to was between 3 and 5 minutes walk. we literally only drove the car once off the beach to a grocery store. Room had brand new toaster microwave medium size fridge the room was exceptional very large very nice very clean I wish I could have stayed longer or just never left. The hotel MADE the trip. And there wasnt a single other hotel I saw that I thoifht man id rather stay here. Not even then $350 ones. I would have easily pais 250 for this room. But my 3 nights 4 days was only 370 with the additional 40 tax n app charge. So the room was Actually only 330. Best place not only for your money and on the beach in the middle of everything, but to better ur experience n wow your visitors and fb friends. :] I only wish you could (legally) lol drink at the pool. Big cup no questions same as beach.
Fantastic location! Good pool. Next to Sharky's Beach Bar. Across street from beach. Chairs outside of room to sit and watch sunset. Room is clean and decent. Nothing fancy but it did come with a small fridge which is a plus!
It was very cost effective, but a great room. The beds weren't the best to sleep on, however the kitchen made up for the uncomfortable bed. Just take an extra pillow and you're set! Just the bed.
You can't beat the price and location. It was noisy due to the traffic. I would have prefered central air instead of a window air conditioner.
there were 2 bedrooms and close enough to beach to walk to it the beds were very uncomfortable and bathroom was very small
The location was very nice. It wasn't too close to the busy part of the beach area which made it nice and quiet. But, close enough walk to the everything. It took awhile for the a/c to cool down the room. Other than that, it was all fine.
close to the beach. It is too old.needs major work. front disk attitude
Location, convenience, parking, facilities are a little behind, hotel needs updating and remodeling
It's proximity to everything, nearly anyplace I wanted to go was just a short walk away.
Good location in southcentral Clearwater Beach, close to the Beach. The staff was very friendly. The room was large and we were actually upgraded to a kichenette unit, at no extra charge. Nice linens. Alot of foreign tourists were here. You should understand that the rooms don't actually face the beach. This is an older motel type setup, no balconies and some items like the air conditioner, lights and TV were on their last legs, so if you want luxury this is not it. Also, they do not provide maid service on Sundays, but they did leave us extra towels, so no big deal.
Excelent location with beach just across the road. The pricetag was a little bit high for such type of room, if it wasn't for the great location.
