Pros: The boutique hotel was in a beautiful tropical garden with large rooms looking out on gardens. The staff was magnificent in their attention to details and in going above and beyond in meeting the guests needs. They’re the most gracious hosts you can wish for. The restaurant has delicious food served with mouth watering homemade bread. The meals are presented with artistry. They have bikes to ride into town for sunset at the lake. The owner also introduced us to the Mayan village Sacahbmucuy which is 20 minutes from Coba. There we were introduced to traditional practices by the Mayan sacred priest. He was generous with his time and knowledge. It was an amazing experience.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: Everything was amazing including the staff! The food was the best we"be had so far in Mexico too.
Pros: Great stay. Wonderful staff. Restaurant was excellent. Very convenient (with a car) for visiting Coba early in the morning after a nights stay.
Pros: The place was beautiful and staff very friendly. There are only a few bungalows whuch makes it very quite. Great romantic getaway.
Pros: Excellent food - breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff. Secluded setting. Close enough to Cobá ruins but away from the crowds. Reception and care from Jassive was excellent. Hugo runs a wonderful home to escape from the world and enjoy. Caring touches such as giving my husband fresh habaneros to take away.
Cons: Disability access to the toilet and some walkways to rooms was limited. A bit noisy from the road but very sheltered from a road view.
Pros: This place is amazing!! Clean! Beautiful and súper confortable, I love the pillows ;) and the venue in general highly recommended
Pros: A great hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and do their utmost to make you feel at home. The breakfast was one of the best of our trip.
Pros: Everyone one was extremely nice and helpful. Even the owner took his time out to suggest once in a lifetime memories. We got to watch a sunrise at the ruins, Coba, on top of the pyramid and met a Shaman and broke bread with him and his family. Abigail, Jose, and the whole staff made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed every moment at the hotel.
Pros: Position is good to see Cobà and Tulum in the the same day, hotel is cool, staff is cozy, I travel alone and the take care of me in any time

Pros: Love the setting, the interior design and the people! What a lovely place to stay and unwind. The room was beautifully designed and the restaurant had a terrific menu - great small plates for sharing. I’d also highly recommend the spa rituals - simply divine! We’ll be back again on our next trip.
Cons: Nothing really... we were really happy with our whole experience.
Pros: Incredible stay, loved the food, the facilities and it really felt like home away from home! Appreciated all the beautiful welcoming touches such as the gift box and genuine kindness of everyone we met.
Cons: Nothing at all, it was amazing.
Pros: An incredibly stylish and beautifully designed hotel. The staff were so helpful throughout the stay. The restaurant food is fantastic, unique and exciting. The welcome gift (candle, perfume samples, toiletries etc) is a lovely touch. The property is very secluded, but a short walk from the Cobá ruins, and a short drive from a few cenotes.
Cons: No negatives.
Pros: It's Paradis! The perfect luxury
Cons: Not a lot of choices at the restaurant
Pros: Breakfast is absolutely delicious! The menu looks daring but we tried every single dish and never disappointed us! Staff was tremendously attentive to food and leisure. The spa staff is world class! Rooms of great size. A truly exceptional environment!
Cons: The focus was not on the rooms in regard to comfort and upkeep but on common areas, service and food. Despite a wonderful experience all around (and willingness to return) we would like to see more attention to the room furnishings and fittings.
Pros: Beautiful decor, beautiful setting, beautiful view.
Cons: Service was terribly slow. Torturously slow. Also there was no flexibility whatsoever to anything.
Pros: It was stunning. The personal touches in the design were delightful such as brass alligator fasteners on the windows. The views are perfect, the atmosphere serene, the food is good too.
Cons: They are maybe a TINY bit under-staffed. I had to wait a little while to check out because other guests wanted to use the private gift shop. But the staff are lovely.
Located in Coba, Hacienda Cobá Hotel is within a 5-minute drive of Templo Monte Carmelo and Coba Archaeological Site. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful property and very clean. If you decide to stay in Coba this should be your choice, nothing else will compare.
Cons: No security locks on the inside doors. Reccomend adding for guest peace of mind. Bed was not comfortable for me personally.
Pros: The manager, Jorge, was very kind and tried his best to communicate with me, he did not speak english and there was no literature or information available in english, despite the online listing indicating otherwise.
Cons: The price was way too high for what I received, maximum 1 star. I chose the location due to all the favorable reviews and ratings and spent much more than my normal budget expecting very nice accomodations, it was not; spiders, ants, a millipede, a gecko, and some bug I didn't see but definitely felt as it stung me during the night, not to mention at least 50 bed bug bites and load vehicle noise from the nearby road; did not sleep well at all; also the hacienda is about 2 km walk from the town, 3 km from the archialogical site, very disappointing.
Pros: Its very close to coba ruins. The grounds are beautiful with a pond with fish.
Cons: This place was so disappointing. First we ran out of toilet paper. I went to front desk to get more. There was no one there and lights were off. I found napkins on table thats we had to use. Then I went to plug my phone in to charge it and the power went out. So we had no lights the whole night. I woke to dead cellphone due to no power. We wanted to use pool since we had nothing left to do and was dark and creepy there and again no one around for help. When I was checking in I asked him what time was breakfast he said no you don't get breakfast. Then he said your right 8am to 10. The sheets and pillowcases had stains on them normally that wouldn't really bother me but cost of this places was much higher then other places we stayed at. We got up for breakfast and it was like they gave us whatever they had left laying around. Breakfast was toast, fruit that should been thrown out, honey, tiny bit of granola, jam and butter. When we finally got to speak to someone they said they would need to call someone to fix the power. I ended having a cold shower in the dark. There is no security at this place anyone could walk in from off street once front desk is closed. The only protection you have is the lock on your door. I have stayed at hotels at cozumel, chichen itza, and merida before staying here. This was the worse one. I was so happy to leave and will never return.
Pros: Perfect for a trip to coba ruins.
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and simple, yet elegant in style. The bathroom was very nice. The overall impression and stated by one of the staff was this is a place for relaxation and reflection.
Cons: I thought that the description in the website was that it was a B&B, however, there was no food available. No problem though as there was a fabulous restaurant, Paschan, a few meters away. Excellent food, outstanding service and for those who might appreciate it as I certainly did, Starbucks coffee served right there. So, it was not so much that I did not like something as it turned out to be quite awesome!

Pros: Very nice room and the restaurant on site has great food at fair prices. Friendly staff.
Cons: The rooster makes noise but they do offer you ear plugs if you need them.
Pros: Nice hotel with a good location. The room is well-equipped. The reception staff is nice. Very reasonable price. An authentic experience.
Cons: The cleaning lady really not friendly.
Pros: Quiet and clean. Good value for the price. Would stay here again.
Cons: It would be nice if there was a small fridge in the rooms
Pros: comfortable enough for one time stat. 10 min walk to ruins.
Pros: This hotel is run by a lovely family, who are friendly and good at helping out guests. Amy who runs the hotel was great with our kids, and always had time for us. The room was great - we had 2 queen beds and a crib for our family of 5 (one was a baby). The room was cozy, but there was a lovely common patio area/porch on the 2nd floor where my husband and I read/did work in the evenings after the kids were in bed. The pool was clean. The restaurant had very friendly staff and yummy food. This hotel is not fancy, but we feel our stay was fantastic. I love hotels run by Mexican families. We spent 3 days here.
Pros: Staff were very friendly. The location is great to visit Coba and the cenotes. The restaurant which is in the front of the hotel was very good. Nice place to rest and relax.
Pros: Nice small place with everything you could need. Situated next to the restaurant, a little shop, and pool. Very calm place, very close to Coba ruins (walking distance). The rooms were nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly, you could make yourself a coffee or tea in the common area and the breakfast was great.
Cons: Our room was a bit dusty but the bathroom was clean and overall the place had a good feel.
Situated in Cobá, 1.3 km from Coba Ruins, Hotel LOL-HA features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a garden. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has family rooms. All rooms in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. At Hotel LOL-HA, the rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom. A à la carte breakfast is available each morning at the accommodation.
Pros: Comfortable enough room... but expensive for what I received
Cons: Price of the place for what I got - staff did not say a word to me after I had paid... perhaps my fault for extremely poor Spanish - but some effort at conversation, or at least a smile, would have been nice and made me feel rather more welcome
Pros: Really clean, big rooms, nice personel :)
Pros: Room was very basic but spacious and clean. Village is small so you can easily walk to the ruins.
Cons: Sruff is very friendly but speaks no English. Bed sheets were very thin and I was cold during the night. We had no warm water in a shower
Cons: Wondeful, friendly staff, great location - just a few minutes walk from the lake and the Coba ruins, we saw an alligator in the lake at sunset! I loved it here.
Pros: Good A/C, good beds, big room. Only a few minutes walk to the park. Quiet at night. Hot water. Included soap and shampoo.
Cons: The water pressure In the shower was poor.
Pros: Cheap but has all the basic necessities. (Bed towels soap some wifi, a place to park your car). There is a restaurant next door which was ok.
Cons: Wifi was unavailable most of the time. Hot water was not available. The restaurant and bar were closed for the entire stay
Pros: Very nice staff, the woman is trying to make it very comfortable for her guests. She cannot speak any English. The room is fine and spacious, you have what you need and that’s it. Sopa de Lima was delicious!
Pros: Good location, only 10 minutes from the ruins.
Pros: The staff were very friendly! They seem like very nice people and I'd love to support their business, but the room really wasn't worth the money ($78 USD/night). The coffee/bread in the morning was a nice touch, though! And it was just a 10-15 walk to the ruins past some nice little restaurants which sold very tasty chicken. If it was a cheap hotel I would have been fine with it, but for the price we paid I really can't recommend the place.
Cons: There were stains on the walls and the bathroom smelled terrible. Like, gag-inducingly bad! Perhaps we showed up after a plumbing mishap of some kind, but nothing of the sort was mentioned. Not something I would complain about for an inexpensive hotel, but at nearly $80 USD/night it felt like a rip off.
Pros: If you stay in this hotel ask for a room upstairs behind the restaurant. The room in the basement is ok but not desirable. Staff very nice. Restaurant has good food.
Cons: Room downstairs not great.
