Pros: Staff was phenomenal. They even called me in the morning after checkout to tell me that I left a phone charger in the room.
Cute little Inn with great personality.
Pros: Good location within walking distance of nice restaurants. Friendly staff at check in and check out.
Cons: Room was very small by stairs to upper floor; stairs cut into the room making it even smaller. No individual light over the sink; had to use the room overhead lights to see at sink. Bath and room had been updated so very clean and nicely decorated.
Interior courtyard had nice furniture to relax on; best place to get good wifi connection not possible in our room. Overall fairly quiet despite the room air conditioners running.
Nice amenities in the guest coffee room: free Starbucks machine coffee plus fruit and ice machine.
Pros: Shower head. Glass stained bath door. The extremely comfortable bed and softness of bedding. Starbucks was a nice extra touch. Wood flooring... the courtyard was quaint, unique we loved the stay..
Cons: Shelving over microwave.
Pros: We've stayed in many many hotels all over the world and this was one of our favorite stays! From the personalized service from Tracy, to the excellently maintained rooms and courtyard, we can't fault this great little hotel. Rooms are small for a typical hotel but are more than compensated for due to a great layout, and all the amenities you could need. This was the first hotel EVER that we have stayed in that had two luggage racks in the room. I cannot find fault with the Iron Horse Inn and will stay here again on our next visit to the Cottonwood/Sedona area.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Pros: Newly remodeled, but kept the quaint "old town" appeal. Loved the location and the shared courtyard. The coffee was the best we had on our whole trip!
Cons: We loved the small cozy room but some might prefer more space.
Ghost City Inn is a great choice for a stay in Jerome. Free perks include WiFi and full breakfast daily between 8:30 AM and 8:30 AM. There's also a terrace, and rooms offer balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights. The house was charming. Very well decorated. Our room was comfortable, clean, private, country decorated reflecting the location in Cottonwood, AZ. The breakfast was substantial with an emphasis on locally made produce. The inn-keeper, FIONA, was a delight to engage in conversation. She was informative, accomodating and truly happy to be of service to travellers. If other B & Bs are like this one I will be be looking for them as an alternative to hotels when travelling in the future.
Pros: The rooms were good. The breakfast changed daily during our stay (a definite plus). Staff was friendly and helpful. The location worked well for our sightseeing goals.
Cons: Rooms could use updating. Pillows and mattress could use replacement.
Pros: Excellent breakfast and friendly staff!! Good size room and very clean. Grounds and pool area were clean and well maintained.
Cons: The hot tub only had 2 jets working. My brother in law had to push the door open with his shoulder because it was not set properly but maintenance fixed it. Poor water pressure at the sink.
Cons: Room was only adequate. Room booklet states they only change sheets every third day for people staying over and the same with towels. I feel that is unacceptable. Housekeeping did change sheets and towels more often than that. Also they put a $20 per night "hold" on our credit card for "incidentals" until we left because we booked thru you rather than directly with them. I didn't appreciate the fact we were unaware of that before booking. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
Pros: Cleanliness and great staff.
Pros: closeness to where our friend lives for visiting.
Cons: driveway and parking lot were being torn up for repaving.
No elevator for second floor.
Pros: Friendly front desk staff, lent me a usb plug so I could charge my phone. It was a last minute overnight stay for which I wasn't completely prepared. They had a nice continental breakfast, again, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: We were very happy with our stay.
Pros: Breakfast and pool
Pros: I liked the quick and friendly check in. I enjoyed the breakfast, that included, donuts, muffins, bagels, toast, eggs, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, hot coffee, hot cocoa, orange juice, apple juice, yogurt and fresh fruit as well.
Cons: There was a slight odor in the room that was from a chemical or a cleaner of sorts, but it aired out quickly.
Pros: Outside iof Cottonwood a little for privacy and security sake. Slightly over priced but within our budget.
Cons: Manager did not explain room location very well at our arrival. Also did not initialize key cards for the two rooms so had to walk back 2 blocks to office. Breakfast has advertising for items that do not exist. This is more on a Super 8 level motel.
Pros: Breakfast was sub par with expectations
Cons: Lady at the front desk complianed about how hard her job is while i was checking in, i felt every spring in the bed, hot tub was closed (for cleaning, hopefully), housekeeping looked/acted as if they had just been released from jail
Pros: The room smelled awful. Property was run down and outdated. The hot tub was surrounded in caution cones and non-functioning. Lobby was 500 yards from rooms. Asked for blanket and had to walk in the dark to get it. Many more issues, no room to explain. :(
Cons: Hotel lobby and breakfast in a separate building from the rooms. An odd arrangement.
Pros: The view
Cons: Far from the front
Pros: Large room, bathtub
Cons: Needs more electric outlets.
Cons: Bed was extremely hard. A pillow top would have helped.
Pros: Good sized mini-fridge Across the street from food
Cons: NOT a hotel; a motel like Super 8 or Motel 6 with doors on the outside Office 150+ yards away from the actual rooms Restaurant was closed No water pressure Bed was uncomfortable Listed TV channels weren't paid for
Cons: The room was disgusting. It smelled like someone peed in the a/c. The water smelled like sulfur. 2 1/2 stars??? 1 star at most! This was on my top 10 worst hotel experiences.
Cons: I paid for the room online the day of my stay, when I got to the hotel there were signs everywhere saying if there would be a $50 charge if you brought pets into the room. I was traveling with my cat and didn't see anything about their pet policy on the website I used to pay for the room. They wouldn't give me a refund due to their refund policy so I figured I either lose 50 bucks or 75, and I brought my cat in. The woman at the hotel deactivated my card key and wouldn't let me back in the room I paid for until I signed an additional receipt for the pet charge, then she let me back in the room but said I needed to leave immediately, even though it was hours before my checkout and nothing about their pet policy indicates you have to leave. I hadn't even showered yet, but the lady came by every few minutes to beat on the door and I left very unhappy. Terrible customer service. Not worth the $125 I ended up having to pay.
Pros: Bed comfortable
Cons: Noise from upstairs and breakfast was poor.
Breakfast lady was super friendly.
