Book Dollar car rentals in Manchester

Cons: Under staffed. No one at drop-off with hand held device. By the time I got to the counter, the 24 hour period ended and I was charged for another day of insurance. The young employee didn't seem to care.

Cons: Dollar refused to rent the car using a debit card. I had to cancel the reservation and rent from Enterprise three counters over.

Cons: Went through three cars to get one not looking like a wreck.......too pushy on upgrading

Cons: I was under the impression from the initial reservation that my vehicle would be bigger than what I was initially provided with. I was expecting a sedan, but what was waiting for me was a very small hatchback. The reservation indicated the vehicle was sufficient for 5 people and 2 bags, but it would not have been sufficient for my needs (3 people and 3 bags). Following a quick upgrade, I was provided with what I needed.

Cons: Could not rent because they do not take debit cards

Cons: The agent assisting me was rude and had very poor knowledge of her system and her policies. The entire process from the moment I got in line to the moment I left the lot took nearly 40 minutes, which is very unacceptable to me. I also paid twice what I was quoted on Kayak, very unacceptable. The car was very uncomfortable as well.

Cons: Thought I was saving money with Dollar. I typically use another vendor. Will not be using Dollar for a while.

Cons: They did not seem to have our reserved car available and after they scrambled to find one, a nice wait there. Then a really long wait,, over 45 minutes, for them to clean it and get it to us. It was not the car type we selected on the website but they said it was comparable.

Cons: HUGE charge for adding my wife as a second driver. Was not expecting that, and the clerk did not even mention the extra charge.

Cons: I didn't receive a reminder, so I forgot which company I rented from. :( (I travel a lot, and usually get a reminder email.)

Cons: They double charged me when I dropped off the car and had to wait for about 5 days for the money to get released and back into my account and kayak should include all the fees I the price quoted...I also paid twice as much as the site said I would

Cons: Albany airport return location is off site and less convenient than their competitors. The upsell for prepay for toll roads in NY was a little over the top and not necessary but otherwise their approach was typical.

Cons: When I arrived at the counter the confirmation I repeatedly gave as well as showed the agent came under someone else's name with a pick up in Florida (I was in New Hampshire). The agent was confused, contacted her supervisor, and then offered to give me the car under the other person's name which I felt was quite unacceptable. I had to cancel the reservation, cancel the insurance, and then rebook which of course was at a higher price. Very disappointing and time consuming.

Cons: As a consumer i like to keep my debt low. Only one credit card with low amount. Like to pay cash and use bank card. Lots of funds available. Could not rent because company won't allow use of bank card. Had to use a different rental company. Very disappointed

Cons: I signed up for a surprise car rental for 5 adults and 4 suitcases I was told I had signed up for a Ford Focus : this didn't meet my rental criteria. I was shown that a Ford Focus was rated for 5 adults. Seriously I had to pay for an update to get a car that would accommodate 5 adults and 4 suitcases not a great experience to start a driving vacation
