Cons:Dollar did not honor my reservation for car rental in marseille, France. Was forced to rent with Hertz and ended up paying 120 euros more. Dollar sucks!!!

Pros:Car was clean and drove well
Cons:It was difficult to communicate about safety and insurance with the representative in Marseille as he did not work for Dollar. We had to pickup the keys at a Hertz location. It was not easy to find. We arrived at 8 when they were supposed to open but no one arrived until about 8:15. None of our questions could be answered and we were not given a map or shown how to use the GPS, which we didn't know if we had in the car or not. We wanted more information about the insurance and car features but they were not explained.

Cons:The pickup location was the same as the drop of the airport. But when i got to the airport they told it was a downtown one and they couldn't change it. Dollar had no customer servidas it was a Hertz desk that will handle the keys, and all they did is trying to sell me a new rental for three times the price. Last time I will rent through this service. Lost 1:30hours doing another rental

Cons:I had a problem with the sum of money that they want to charge me: The price was 307 Eoro but they ask to pay about 800 for full insurance.I tryed to find an other car but I didn`t find .when I returned back he found another insurence company and the total price was 586 euro. It is almost a double price.

Cons:We arrived to pick up the car according to agreement and the office was closed for a bank holiday, whatever that is. We were stranded so had to take the train to Avignon. No cars available at the airport. We then rented the only available car in Avignon for three times as much. It cost us an extra 61 euros for train and 320 extra euros for the car rental. We had another couple with us and they too had to take the train. It wasted about 30 hours of out time as well as a lot of money. No mention on contract or through an email that we would not be able to pick up the car on contracted date. Horrible experience!!
