Cons:I recently rented a car on Kayak through Dollar. The photo and placement of the listing was in the "standard" section of the listing page. The car shown in the photo was a Chrysler 200. I booked the car and showed up at the counter to retrieve my car. Upon arriving and meeting the agent, I was informed that I rented a "Generic" car, which meant "compact". The agent didn't make any offer to make things "right". I canceled the reservation, walked down to the Budget counter, and paid more to get the car advertised on the listing from Dollar. The experience costed me time and money. This will be my last experience with Dollar (along with everyone in my company). No wonder their on-line reviews are what they are.

Cons:I wasn't told that there would be a fee to return the car at a different location when I booked the rental. I was quoted three different prices. My credit card was charged more than my receipt. It was complicated to find where to return the keys. I won't use this company again.

Cons:I wasn't able to rent due to being 23 and the age requirement is 25, me personally not having a credit card, and having to pass the credit check.

Pros:-Attendant was nice enough to give us a smoke-free car
Cons:-First car smelled like smoke, was given a second car thankfully -Second car was covered in snow and I had to deice/remove the snow myself -Poor quality/comfort of car -Tank was not full when I left pickup lot -I will not be renting from Dollar again

Pros:courteous, clean, good gas mileage car and no hassle drop off
Cons:When offered the refueling process, the agent at the counter estimated the fuel usage much too high and the price of gas at our destination too high as well. We bought the option and came nowhere near using the full tank he estimated and the cost was much higher than necessary.
