Cons:The rental car was booked in mistake by one day. My rental was completely canceled and no accommodation was given. I got stuck in Venice for extra day. I'm very disappointed with the customers services and lack of accommodation by Dollar. I was forced to book with a different company and ended up paying x3 more than what I originally booked.
Pros:AFter the long, long walk to the rental counter, it was refreshing to find out the vehicles themselves were in the same location -- just a few steps away.
Cons:The first car we were offered was missing its rear wiper. (Not just the rubber blade, but the whole thing -- arm and all.) They switched us to a different vehicle, and it was great -- but the first vehicle should have been taken out-of-service, repaired, and then returned to the fleet.
Pros:The car was reasonably priced for a hybrid! It was great for a long distance road trip. Pick up was easy and the car was well located in the parking lot.
Cons:Check out was a disaster. Upon arriving at the parking lot, there was no one available to tell us where to park the car. There was a long line of people mixed with those who were returning a car and those who were picking up a car. There should have been two separate lines so that those who were dropping off the car can be done quicker and still make it in time to catch their flight.
Pros:Good late model vehicle that met needs very nicely. Did not request GPS but the vehicle came equipped with it. Nice to know it was there if it was needed.
Cons:Have become accustomed to Express pickup and dropoff. Was not available. Not many scratches/dents on the vehicle but not all were documented on the initial paperwork.
Pros:Free built in GPS provided.
Cons:Overcharged me on the final bill by almost $100. Desk agent said the "Optional Fuel Purchase" was mandatory but the charge would be removed if I brought the vehicle back with a full tank. Of course the final bill included the "optional fuel purchase" even though I returned the car with a full tank. Also the diesel car required several fillings of the additive "AD BLUE" or it would not start. Total out-of-pocket extra of more than 20 Euros. Reflection of poor vehicle maintenance/servicing on the part of Dollar/Hertz.

Pros:The car was OK
Cons:The car we reserved was not available. They made us pay for much more expensive car. They gave the manual in the language we could not read. They gave no instructions.
Cons:Only problem was that the pickup in pze. Roma took too long.
Pros:It's ok once you know that you have to go to hertz to drop offf car.
Cons:No dollar people. Just hertz and thrifty
Pros:Good car, in good conditon. Rental agency in convenient location.
Cons:The rental agency could not be reached by phone for inquires.
