Pros:Fast, super friendly, vehicles very good condition
Cons:GPS map was not updated
Cons:We booked small automatic car and when we arrived we were told they don’t offer that type of car anymore and had to pay $45 extra for bigger SUV which we didn’t want. We had to take it however as we were stuck. Felt like bait/switch. Usually people would offer bigger car for free
Cons:As usual the insurance questions and answers are different at the counter than they are on the phone in the US. I am very tired of this dilemma which seems to be the norm no matter what country you are renting in. As the “go between” in booking it would be fabulous if you had online references about

Cons:I booked the car on Kayak App. I went to thrifty counter and gave the guy a confirmation number that we received by email, he said I don’t know how you guys reserved the car, it’s been booked for a long time. He only had a small car available and we were 5 people. So we ended up taking the train and paid $530 to make it to Rome. Worst experience ever. I suggest you better communicate with Thrifty on the number of cars that Kayak is allowed to rent out to its customers

Pros:Actually, the order was served by Hertz, known as #1 in car rental worldwide. And Hertz so far never disappointed me - I rented from Hertz about 20 times to date.
Cons:More clarity with what the car will actually cost when we arrive.
