The location was great and the room was pretty clean other than the spider and his web that we shared it with. The woman who checked us in was very nice. The shower didn't have enough water trickling out to wash the shampoo out to my hair. The towels were old and smelled sour. The man who worked the office the next day was rude. For the price we paid I expected more. very disappointed.

Walking distance (15 minutes) to downtown Durango shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. The bathroom, while clean, was not in good shape. Road noise from Hwy 160 could be loud at times.
This was one of the dirtiest, dumpiest, motels we have ever stayed in. The pictures on their website do not let nothing like what you get. Nothing worked including the staff. Filthy room
Location, cost. No.
Good value. Furnishings somewhat older

I liked that this was a small family-based motel which was very helpful and friendly, great to see it still around despite all the bigger organisations. Good luck to them. Recommend staying here. Lovely hand painted art work on the room walls too! Not really, there is a 20min walk to Downtown Durango. I enjoy the walk along the river, this may not be to everyone's taste.
The location was great and with a lawn, swing for the kids and picnic area. Perfect for our family. No safety lock on doors. Otherwise, loved the place.
The bed was fairly comfortable and the couch was cute. Fire hazard, trip hazards, crappy rundown, poor service, stingy, run-down, poor lighting. A law suit waiting to happen. TV too far away to be of any use. Poor layout. Very dangerous flight of stairs. I could go on and on. Totally not worth the money. JOKE
No plug in for coffee pot. Stool back up . It showed a pool and hot tub there wasn't one.
Very friendly staff
Everything was great.Very clean
Comfortable hotel overall with lots of rooms. Nice free breakfast. Attentive staff. A bit of a billing blip. Night agent entered in rare incorrectly. FD agent wasn't able to correct w/o manager. All agents should have abilities to make these changes. It was resolved quickly by the manager. When we were looking through the room to make sure not to leave anything behind, we found a can of chewing tobacco on the floor. It is fortunate that the children did not find this and try to get into it. The refrigerator was not working. We did not mention this to anyone during the stay.
The location was convenient and the staff were helpful enough. The room AC was underperforming. The room got so warm and the beds were uncomfortable. The floors between must be very thin because your footsteps are loud and you can hear people above you. The lobby is old and worn and there's trash in the parking lot. Not an inviting place.
Clean room. Good price.
Location Room floor was dirty, entry/front desk area was dirty, breakfast was coffee/muffin/banana/waffle
Had a confirmed reservation for a road trip I was taking with my granddaughter. We were on a sight seeing train ride in the mountains with no internet service. When we arrived for check-in we were told my credit card was declined the room was taken. I used my credit card through-out the trip & knew there was nothing wrong with the card. I was livid!!!!!
convenient, working ice machine, friendly staff, clean room, quiet, breakfast was ready at 5 AM! n/a
Clean. Not too loud. Getting old and outdated.
Staff friendliness Poorly maintained and run down for being a "newer" motel
Location & friendly staff No heat just cool air until Oct. Front door of room 119 we could see light through door. Also door frame was broken & needs to be replaced.
Cheap,clean and very friendly!!
Close to downtown, basic but good continental breakfast, very clean bathrooms advertised as having a minifridge, but none could be found. bed wasnt terribly comfy
Good location near town, liquor store and grocery store but outdated and a little dirty. Ask for rooms in the 320s because they have the best views of the mountains. Outdated, dirty. Also they didn't provide soap or shampoo luckily the grocery store is across the street.
Large room, comfortable bed Old building, needs some work Lock on door not very secure
It was a clean room with a comfortable bed. It's not a high end resort, but this place wasn't dumpy at all. The staff was highly friendly- even when we arrived around midnight. Otherwise, I would highly recommend if you are looking for something cheap. The thing I disliked the most was the shower water pressure was really really low. I have been noticing this as a common practice at hotels of all sorts, but it simply sucked here.
Dirty. Broken lights. Waste baskets full. No telephone.
Older motel with clean rooms and pleasant staff. Great location that is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wifi wouldn't work in my room as my room was in the zone between the two antennas. I had to go outside to use it. They should add a 3rd antenna to cover the middle of the compound.
The price was great and the staff were very helpful. A little run down and not super clean.
All in all the room was great. It was clean, modern enough, good wifi, and mostly comfortable (especially the bed mattress). The one exception was the square pillows! These where surprisingly difficult to sleep on.
Night staff seemed very friendly. Breakfast available in the morning was simple but pleasant. Loved how comfortable the beds and pillows were! That was probably one of my favorite parts of staying here. The TV, fridge and microwave all worked great, and room service was very nice and thorough in their cleaning. Aside from the bed being so awesome, the chairs weren't the most comfortable to sit in. Little hard to sit for a long time if you need to do any work in your room--would recommend sitting on the bed or up in the lounge instead. The shower was also one of the most bipolar showers I've ever used. It was as if it were fluctuating based on every other shower and/or bathroom in the building. Would switch from warm to freezing to scalding hot every 5-10 seconds. Ended up just taking baths instead.
Although she was busy, the girl at the front desk was kind, helpful, and professional when I checked in. The hall downstairs was well lit when I returned to my room after dark. The dirty windows and wrinkled pillow cases.
The night staff was awesome getting me into my room. He was courteous and well spoken. The spa and sauna are tucked away in a cool spot. The river is a 5 minute walk away. My overnight stay was tarnished by one particular failure. The overall cleanliness of the room seemed to be normal. However, upon entering the shower in the morning, a substance of very disgusting origin was found on the wall and water faucet. Now, all heinous acts aside, there may be many justifiable explanations for such a scene, but there is no excuse for it not being cleaned up. I was utterly disgusted. I cleaned the mess up and did not tell my wife or child of the disgrace for not wanting to sour the day. Had I found the mess the night before I surely would have demanded a new room. A terrible oversight indeed, on both the establishments part, and that if mine.
We liked the convenience of this hotel. Candy was very helpful with printing boarding passes for us.
The beds and location. Nothing really
