The hardworking, courteous and accommodating staff Closer to the village would be nice but it's close enough not to be a problem
Very charming, lovely place with very polite and accommodating owners, would defin. Return there!
Great room, extremely accommodating and friendly staff, really neat place
The breakfast choices were amazing! Five plus choices every morning. The staff was very attentive, and owners asked every morning if we slept well. The B&B is also within walking distance The Fondue Château Restaurant which was extremely good.
The entire hotel is awesome. The staff, food, grounds A+
The bed was comfortable. Heard people talking and slamming doors thur out the night. It's like staying at a outdated house and the door to your room is just like a bedroom door. I advise get a hotel even if it's 40 mins away, will be worth so much more!!! It's like staying at your grandmothers house.unsatisfactory . I don't know why people rate this as excellent. Maybe it's good only because it's close to the skiing places etc. bathrm tile is disgusting. Next time will stay@ a hotel that offers much more.
The owners were super friendly and very accommodating. Considerately asked if we had any dietary sensitivities/requests and made delicious breakfasts! The home is a quick drive to Hunter Mountain, Woodstock and Saugerties, which are great for hiking, farmers markets, and dining. We had a great time and I would definitely go back!
Location on the thruway. Remodeling so sharp, dangerous objects everywhere. Spiders in bathroom.
The cleanliness of the room and the breakfast. No.
Hotel definitely exceeds it rating - Everything new renovated, indoor pool , Internet, breakfast exceeded expectations . Check in a breeze . Great stop off for trip to the Adirondacks .
The staff was amazing. Everyone was helpful and kind. Places in the area close early. Had to get food from a gas station so we could eat.

Loved everything, the room was nice, spacious, and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly Nope...loved it
Pool, hot tub, location, and breakfast was very nice. Staff friendly and rooms are very nice and clean!! Internet is so slow that it is not worth trying to log on!! I am not exaggerating, it is so slow that I will try to find another place to stay. They told me before Chrismas that it would be fixed in a couple weeks. Still not!!
The hotel was clean. Location easy to get to. NOISE!! The walls are PAPER THIN. I was up until 2 am at night, hearing sounds of people thumping above my head, or talking in either the room next door or above me. I called staff, and the person was new - she even agreed that the wall must be thin.
Location No microwave or refrigerator in room -hotel under construction (no warning ior signs indicating) very disappointing considering I was traveling with children and paid almost --- for one night stay . The only plus was that the staff was very.apologeti
This hotel is very clean. If I go back to Catskill, I would love to stay there again. Everything was great!
The housekeepers did a great job keeping our room clean and tidy. The entire facility is old and in dire need of maintenance and repairs. The shower and tub fixtures were old and leaky. Our bathroom light was faulty and would turn off on its own while you were in the tub or on the toilet. There were not enough outlets to charge our phones. The smell of cedar permeates everything and set off my allergies forcing me to take benadryl all weekend. Lastly the thermostats are outdated and my wife and I stayed cold all weekend because the air conditioner was either constantly on or off.
We were attending a funeral so we weren't really there for pleasure. The accommodations were fine for what we needed. There was a problem with the toilet and you had to flush it two or three times. The breakfast was just o.k. The coffee wasn't hot.
The owner was very friendly and helpful with advice on touring the Catskill area. The location was very quiet and peaceful.
Easy to find, Loreen was a very gracious and lovely host. Room had everything I needed for my one night, quick stay.
Friendly and angaging hostess. Beautiful old home with many nice fwatures.
The house is beautiful.
Very convenient off the NYS Thruway. The rooms were clean and the restaurant next door had excellent food. For the money, it was a good deal. All we needed was a bed and a hot shower, no luxuries necessary. Our door didn't lock very well.
The Red Carpet Inn is a truck stop. My room was clean, there were no bugs--cockroaches or bedbugs--the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. I found it to be an o.k. place to spend two nights. However, if you are particular or have high expectations, you should not stay here. You get what you pay for. The motel is a bit run down. The building is right alongside Route 87. I requested that my room be on the quieter side--the Route 9W side. I could still hear the noise from the thoroughfare, but it was a background noise and not too bad. The room smelled a bit musty. The tap water had a very strong sulpher taste. There were young residents in the parking lot at 4:00 a.m. talking loudly, laughing and shouting. They obviously did not realize there were other people in the world. It was a place to sleep for the night if you are not fussy.
$20 less than the best western down the street. clean enough. we were ready for the trickle of hot water - so just took a bath instead. quiet, beds are fine. It's nothing fancy - old and worn, but we just wanted a bed to sleep so perfect.
