The Staff. A Roach in the shower. Mens Underwear under the sink. Ac broke on the the last night and was given a fan.
free parking is great, room is clear and clean traffic noise from outside
it was close to a grocery story, which was nice for buying food and wine. Limited parking. Also it said that beds would be assigned after purchase, i could not pick how many before hand. They charged me an extra $20/night for 2 beds. At the price i paid i could have stayed in a better location, closer to the city.
All of the staff were so nice. They greet you everytime they seen us. The room was clean and they cleaned up everyday & we were there 4 nights. I would return .
Price The hotel was adequate. I did think some of the towels should be replaced. One of them had several holes in it.
Cleanliness Noisy, very bad breakfast, just bread, boiled eggs, margarine, jelly
Breakfast was good. There should have been a Microwave Oven in the room.
absolutely nothing to like Room 102 was dirty the shower wasn't no clean the air unit was old that the heater didn't work and the knob was so faded u couldn't tell what it was on.. Overall this motel 6 is dirty will never stay again
very nice and great location the quilt was a bit stained
Location is very nice Clean and open area. There are no electric kettle to make water hot
I stayed here for a night; expected to have terrible night but it turned out to be a decent stay. I would certainly recommend to my friends.
Cheap room, free wi-fi, easy check in and out, easy to get 5 dollar deposit back Clean room mostly, fridge and microwave included. Bed was fine for a hotel Someone brought ironing board and iron on request Shady motel area and other guests were shady. Wi-fi speed and reliability very poor. 5 Dollar deposit for entry card is silly Soft pillows with no support. Didn't come with ironing board and iron originally
Right down the street from Whittier recreation center and in and out. Pet friendly which is a must for me and it has hard wood floors which really made it stand out in a good way. You know there isn't nasty carpet filled with puke and whatever else . Parking! Is! Horrible!!!! Omg small lot! For being a pet friendly hotel they didn't have really any grass for the dogs to use the bathroom. Someone set off fireworks at 3 am scaring is because it sounded like gun shots and security didn't do anything.
I liked the location. It is located conveniently closed to the freeway and a few local restaurants / fast food. The room was disgusting. The bed sheets and pillows had hair on them before we even lay on them. The restroom was disgusting. The furniture / bathroom is old and rusty. It had a really heavy smoke smell on a non smoking room.
The tv and the beds There was no fridge, microwave or coffee maker
Hospitality was excellent very professional Too much police activity i was pulled over well walking with my daughter to my car asked questions it was very uncomfortable
Clean, cheap, friendly staff, and good location. Standard uncomfortable bed.
The location was very convenient. They don't provide any breakfast besides coffee.
Price and location - great location No elevator to access second floor, special request needed for ground floor if you have any disability No microwave No refrigerator "No Frills" Sleeping quarters only
The space was much more modern, comfortable, and cleaner than I anticipated. I felt comfortable walking on the wood laminate floor barefoot. The bathroom was well designed to minimize the number of nooks and crannies where grossness can hide. I paid $2.99/day for wireless internet and it worked great--better than the service I got for free at a fancy boutique hotel last month in a major city. Would have liked an elevator for getting to the second of two floors. Also would've liked a mini refrigerator to store leftovers.
Staff seemed to want to take care of problem . My bed had a bunch of what looked like dead skin from someone's feet/head. There was a dead ant and hair in the other. Pillows had dried blood spots (alá bed bug). It was a horrible experience. Neck and neck with the worst place I've stayed at save front desk.
Nothing It is used as residential living and their tenants were questionable. There was trash left in the hallways. There was roaches in the bathroom. No clear direction on how to get to the second floor. Their idea of a dinning area had folding metal chairs and plastic tables. Not worth staying there again.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There's plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and it's located near two major freeways. They do offer free wifi, but that is something that I expect at all hotels these days, so I don't really consider it a plus. The connection seemed to run fine with the little that I used my phone during my short stay. I was very disappointed with the hotel seeing that they do not offer what you pay for. I called an hour before arriving to confirm my reservation and the man who answered was not very professional. I was about to hang up thinking I dialed the wrong number when he answered with a rude "Hello". When I arrived, the lady at the desk was not welcoming at all. She didn't even want to let me check in early, even though I had gotten the okay to do so (with an extra $20 fee) from the man over the phone. I never got a smile or thank you from that lady. Even though there was an obvious language barrier, a smile or nod would have been enough. They still have not upgraded their check in system. I was required to pay a $30 deposit - cash only! - and was given a regular key (not the swiping, more secure credit card types). Once I got to my floor, I had to take a guess at what room was mine since the room number was missing from the door. The room itself is terribly outdated and dirty in appearance. The carpet had many stains, including a large bleach stain (who knows what spilled there..), and the blanket felt grimy. I didn't even bother lifting up the sheets. I laid on some of my extra clothes instead. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but still was outdated with rusty faucets. Looks like nothing has been done to it since it was built in the 70s. Worst of all was the non-functioning air conditioning unit. It turned on just fine, but it never gave me the cool air I set it for. Even after giving it a chance to kick in, the air still came out too warm. Although it did help with some circulation, especially since it was quite humid that day, the vents were stuck pointing up to the ceiling. I had to move the round wooden table directly over the vents in order for it to force some of the air downwards. That was the only way I felt any relief. It didn't feel like the hotel's management would be responsive if I complained or asked for a different room, so I didn't bother. I checked out after only four hours of being there. Had I paid $50 or less dollars for the room, I may have expected to see what I saw. But for $84 a night, much more is expected. I've stayed in hotels in Pasadena, just 5-10 minutes to the north for about the same price, and received much better service and better quality rooms.
Inexpensive and close to families house. No one was rowdy or too loud. Oh and breakfast too! I couldn't sleep for fear of bed bugs. There were pics on yelp of them and it was in the same room we were staying in. I searched for them all over and checked the mattress. It appears the mattresses had been replaced and sealed, but still gave me the creeps! Poor ventilation in the restroom as well. If this is new management then spend he money to shine a positive light on the hotel, it would have mad a difference in my rating.
Location Room was bad, floors were cracked. Smelled like cigarettes would not allow us to change room. Room was old. Shower had mildew. Window blinds in bathroom was broken so people could see inside. Main window curtin had a bunch of holes also.
Really nothing... it should not be called the 5 star... it's maybe and that's a big maybe a 2 star... There was nats in our room and we informed the staff but they really didn't see a problem with it... the ice machine was broken and no plans of fixing it... they say continental breakfast but all they offer is toast, bagels n old donuts... never again...
Nothing The owners were the rudest people I have ever met. We were staying here because of funeral services for my grandfather and aunt. The owner started yelling at us for having too many people in one room as we were all trying to get my 97 year old grandmother from the wheelchair to the bed. He didn't believe us when we tried to explain that we had booked 4 rooms and each room would have 4 people. We ended up getting a refund on 2 of the rooms, but the other 2 were used and could not be refunded. Due to the holiday weekend, we could not find any other hotel to stay. So we ended up driving an hour to go home. It was the worse night to end such an emotional day. These people have no compassion. I Understand that they are trying to enforce their rules, but show some compassion when you see an elderly woman and little kids. Worse encounter with a hote ever.
