Poor Customer Service Ruined the stay
The room itself was clean. Large bathroom. As described in the listing.
Very poor service. When I arrived for check in, the office was in disarray. Associates were arguing with each other and it was clear that they did not have a room set aside for me. It was 930pm. I just wanted to get to my room and rest for the next day. It took over an hour to check in. Finally they put me in a room without giving me a key. They said they would drop it off later (they never did). Around 11, I went to desk to get a key because no one came. They didn’t have any keys and had to search the property for a card. Very poor service. There was a manager visible, he went by Mr. T. He was useless. Hid in the back while his employees struggled and only came out to smoke a cigarette right outside the lobby door.

Shuttle from airport took 2 hours to arrive. Hotel didn't have my booking. Staff couldn't care less. Overpriced. Will never return.

They have no pick up when I arrived at 0130. I have to find my own transportation in the early morning. they said they would refund my taxi ticket but has to have a printed receipt. Of course I could not have one as I was traveling. To use their computer to print it would cost me almost the fee of the Uber. Forget it!

Shuttle pick-up at, airport, only after telephone request: no regular pick-up. This is most inconvenient as, arriving from abroad, our telephones do not work in the USA. Not knowing this in advance caused us to wait more than an hour before returning inside the airport terminal to inquire at the tourist information desk. The comment of the tourist information desk attendant was, "Oh, Travelodge South LAX has ___tty service". In comparison, the shuttle of Travelodge Century Boulebvard made 2 rotations before I went and calledTravelodge South LAX from the Tourist information desk. The room we occupied was inadequately sound-proofed. I know that US hotels are notorious for this, but our room seemed particularly subject to incursions of noise; from around and above. The battleship gray paint, used for the exterior walls, has the effect of camouflaging the hotel so that it disappears from view.

Five dollars extra for parking--the usual gouge of hotels but, for a motel, a ridiculous charge. The rooms are tiny. The price was too high.

Staff was very rude and unwilling to help.
We checked in at there check in time but the room was not ready. We were asked to return in an hr. Upon our return the room was still not ready!!! I was very patient with them but VERY disappointed in the quality of service!!!

Facility was a bit down at the heels; stains on carpet and furniture surfaces. Toilet did not flush. Breakfast had no fruit or protein.
The shuttle was conveinet. Roderick the front desk man was funny and helpful.
I didnt like how in front of us checking in their was a group of irresponsible swearing mid 20 year olds. The walk to our room was long and cold. We tookthe 6 am shuttle but I wasnt able to eat your " continental breakfast".
