Was clean enough for the price however location is awful,no metro stop near by Location
Free parking, pleasant staff, very good service!!
Too far from the city
Value for money - you got what you paid for There was a kettle in the room but very little or no tea and coffee available.
food was good value room was to small and the double bed was actually a large single
friendly and helpful staff; clean rooms - bigger than I expected bed was too small
Receptionist and restaurant was very good. They close the reception desk at 9 on Fridays, they did not say that we came just in time to pay our bill and ask for a taxi it was no food or vending machines to get at least water. Nothing around to eat. Too far from Paris . the web site and hotel info is not accurate , it said that is was close to center of Paris near to the Arch of Triumph.... it really was 20 minute by bus and 30 minutes in Metro.!!!!
The staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, and the location of the hotel was lovely - very easy to get to the Stade de France by public transport, so cnetral, but quiet and relaxing. Will definitley go there again. have used it twice now, during the Rugby World Cup No
the hospitatily and rest. Safe feeling due to the gate (also for the car) it's a little bit old fashion, it needs an update.
The rooms are quite comfortable with all the facility included plus secured parking. The breakfast they provide is excellent price for the money.
Parking of the car and security of the hotel It was perhaps a little to far from the metro/train
The Buffet Not even one english chanel at the tv (only french speaking chanels). This lack of variety is nowadays very rare in Europe...
The room was perfect, clean n comfortable.......its close to the metro station and rhe internet connection was ok it was hard to find it on the first day.the directions were not very clear
very clean, helpful staff The hotel was very good, just be advised it is quite isolated and there is limited facilities at the weekend.
Breakfast was the worst, they charge you Euro 9 for the breakfast and they got nothing. Cheese is Old and i didnot dare to eat the meat, cake was dry (i thought it was cake). The last day of stay was the 16th and i was given yoghurt from the 15th. I would avoid it. Not worth it. Even by campanile standards, it was bad .
Mayb a map to nearest Metro or phone numbers for taxis. otherwise hassle free and did the job well.
The location of the hotel was not what I expected the neighborhood didn't look safe I was afraid to be out late so I was cutting my outings around Paris because of that. We stayed at different (better) hotels on our way there for a LOT less money. Having to go to the lobby downstairs to use the wi-fi service was very inconvenient. The staff was great, friendly and helpful.
Room was good and it was good value for money. On Sunday from 10h30 there was drilling and hammering which continued for hours. This ruined what could have been a perfectly good stay and resulted in the comfort of the room being poor. The below answer would be yes if I knew there would be no builing against the walls.
Went to watch the rugby at Stade de France and was one tube stop away. No tea or coffee was provided in the room or available in reception unless at breakfast time.
Very good location, if you have a car. Close to the airport and Paris city. Able to cook using excellent kitchen facility. Double bed was a bit small.
the reception staff was realy kind, helpful, and speaked good english
Not very good location, but very nice personnel. Inexpensive and nice hotel. Perfect for single-traveller.
The reception staff were excellent. Private parking would be better
strong smell of drains in the shower room.
Cleanliness of the room, good price. Far from the centre of Paris, one night it was a nightmare to get to the hotel because of a rugby game on Stade de France. Just one small and dirty food shop around the hotel.
The accommodation had everything we needed - - good tv, good location, good shower with the added benefit of internet access and mini fridge and microwave. The level of street noise.
Kitchen in the room. Metro station is close. Out of the city and Saint Denis is a dangerous place. Very unfriendly stuff. And very noisy room. People in the corridors shouted in the middle of the night.
Well situated for central Paris. Easy to get to Metro. Rooms were very clean and air conditioning was very much appreciated in the heat of August. Very quiet location and very pleasant local area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We will happily use this hotel again when traveling to Paris. The room size was a little cramped, but the facilities in it were very good.
Good location, very clean, good value for money. Too small rooms!
Good location, near to the metro. The staff is friendly. The lobby is very nice. Desk in the room is very small. Old fashioned room. A bit too expensive during the fair time. Not enough lights in the room.
The staff was very friendly and polite, room was clean and location is great to reach by public transport. The room was a bit too small.
The hotel is located near a metro station and there are several shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Parking costs 10 euro per 24 hour which is very cheap in Paris.
Near Metro Station, lots of restaurants near by, free wifi Internet small room, even smaller bathroom, lack of desk space
it was modern, clean and a good value for the money. it is a long indirect trip from the airport and a pretty fair distance into town. little sense of "neighborhood" few food shops - mostly major grocery stores with 'cheap food' - France is becoming like the US - yuk.
little breakfast in room little frigo-bar in room
The hotel is located in a fairly nice area close to a Metro station. The price was good for Paris. The beds good. The room and bathroom were rather narrow. The night staff not very friendly. The daytime staff on the opposite was nice. Breakfast is overpriced.
Easy access to metro station Air conditioming was not working
Value for money Not all employees speak english .
The staff were always happy to help us and they speak good english. Nothing I disliked about the accomodation! Only the fact that I was going home alone and my boyfriend goes to ride on his motorcycle to Dakar with the organisation Heroes Legend. Evering else was great!
Clean, helpful manageress. Other staff left alot to be desired and no wonder the manageress seemed to work 24 hours a day!!! Akso it is 12km from Stade de France not 6km as stated on your website, a big difference and i would have not booked it had this been stated correctly.
Cool room, comfortable bed, tea & coffee making in the room, everything you need from a cheap but decent hotel, at a remarkable price thanks to Booking.com Hotel is next to a major road and not exactly in a romantic location. You really need a car. Not a place to stay if you are on holiday, but fine for a business trip.
We had to wait over 2 hours for our evening meal.
Convenience for Stade de France Asked for double bed, given twin. Poor service
The friendly service provided by the receptionists. The large clean room. The Hotel was near the metro and therefore it was easy to travel to the centre of Paris. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. The mattress and pillows were too hard and uncomfortable.
Very high quality and close to Stade de France Dubious area of Paris. Don't ask the hotel to call a taxi for you; there could be anything up to €15 on the meter before you get into the car.
This hotel was very good and ideal to walk to the Stade de France, if that is what you are staying there for. The area around the hotel isn't spectacular but the hotel more than makes up for that. I would recommend jumping on the metro to go to Playa de Clichy for food (a few stops). Hotel is 2 mins walk from metro station, which always helps. The reception area was very welcoming and staff very friendly (and spoke good english). The fact that there were maps to the Stade de France (we were going to a match) was a nice gesture as it made the walk a little less complicated. The room was very comfortable and had extras that were perfect (ie ironing board, etc). The food was very good, including the lunch menu.......
Proximity of my office. Good quality, Price reasonable, exept huge internet access! Internet access at 19.95 euros a day, (multiple disconnexion 3 times a day :( Bad phone reception in hotel (depending of your room)
the rooms are very clean and large according to other otels in paris. WIFI internet free f charge in lobby. But it can't work. Maybe it doesn't work with my laptop. But nobody solved my problems. I paid extra 20 € to buy fully date charges. When you re calling taxi from reception you need to wait min 10 min. If there is some crowded on the hotel they can mixed peoples. So you can wait more than 20 min for a taxi.
Hotel and service fautless very impressed Close to Metro Some areas of Neighbourhood were not very inviting and quite rough
i liked the cleaniness off the the rooms and friendly staff.. i thought the room was basic for the price i paid and that the location was far from central paris, although the metro station was a 5 minute walk which was convinient
It was available No
free Wireless internet no shower curtain, so the bathroom floor became very wet, and any clothes on the floor were then soaked
close to the RER station although in the confirmation of main reservation was mentionned *City/tourist tax is not applicable*, they have charged this taxes
very clean, 3 min by foot to the train station the elevator was broken and not repared for 3 days! all guests had to carry their suitcases by stairs! Wireless LAN disappeared on the first day of our stay and was not repared at all...
Very nice place, helpful staff, great food at the restaurant , perfect room.We had a great stay.
The guys on reception were friendly and spoke perfect English After a World Cup FInal when most people were only getting back to the hotel at around 12.30 they closed the bar too early. No spirits to drink at night. No cigarette machine. One of beds was broken and we only realised it when we pulled out the third bed. We had to prop the bed up with the bed side table.
the AC good be much better (it is switching off automatically at 24°C which is totally useless)
Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast. Good location for Stade de France (RWC 2007 final). Nearby transport link to central Paris. Leclerc supermarket very close for shopping (closed Sunday).
the breakfast and the host at the hotel where real good
Hotel staff were nice, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and staff service of the room was excelent!, this is very important. It has the metro close (~300m). The price for breakfast is a little too high (20eur/person).
Clean nice room also good bed and choice of pillows very nice. No service in breakfast and long waiting to be seated, AC not working in bedroom
I had read some reviews about bad service so I went with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful, anything we asked for we got.
Very nice and helpfull staff. Subway station 5 min walk from the hotel. Room was nice and clean. Had to wait for a taxi for 20 min
The ease of access from the Peripherique Air Conditioning was not working correctly
Price, good location, fast and easy access to the City Center, helpfull Front Desk Agents. The Hotel is indeed closer to the Train Station than as mentioend in the Website! The lift was tooooo small!
I was very satisfied with this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with a TV and small desk. The en-suite bathroom was well equipped, tiled, clean and bright. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful. The hotel was very close to the station with good train links (not the metro) to the city centre. I recommend reading advice provided by other guests regarding train links. Overall an excellent hotel in a very pleasant location. Some of the wallpaper in my room was scuffed. The laminate on the bedside shelf was missing.
Good breakfast, clean room and bathroom, near the train station. The elevator is too small, 3 people could barely fit in.
clean room, friendly staff, good facilities
The location of the hotel it is OK (3 station of train from St Lazar - 5 min Asniers sur Seine) in a nice neighberhut. The hotel was complete renovate and it looked very good. The staff was helpfull and the breakfast was the same every day, but ok. The hotel was very clean. You have around the hotel supermarket, market, restaurants, mc donalt, bank. The raport quality/prices is very good. For the money which you are paying you are receiving a very nice, clean hotel with a good location and also with a good breakfast. No, I like it very much.
Convenient location, close to metro station. You will have to understand Paris metro though. Insufficient ventilation Too cramped (room size was only as big as the bed) Bath usable only by average size individuals. Definite no for large people.
Proximity to train station. WiFi internet support
We found the Hotel Wilson a pleasant experience. We were wary about the hotel because of the reasonable cost but were very pleased once we arrived. In hindsight the room upgrade would have been better because I expect it would be larger, but our room worked OK for us. This hotel is not downtown and people will need to take a train as well as the Metro....this was OK for us but limited our trips downtown in the evenings.
good local facilities, helpful staff small room, noisy deliveries at night
The front reception lady was very welcoming, it was a pleasure to walk in after a long day and receive a smile! Thank you The shower ... there was no screen to stop the shower head spraying water all over the bathroom floor.
Hotel is small, but very clean and friendly. Staff were extremely helpful with information about transport options etc. Breakfast buffet was typical contnental, but fresh and and plentiful. Rooms were small, but comfortable and spotless. Free wifi was a real positive. Location is about 5 miles from centre of Paris in Asnieres Sur Seine, which is a very pleasant suburb, plenty of shops and cafes to eat at and 5 minutes walk from the Railway station, which gets you into Paris in 7 minutes. Would definitely stay there again.
The bed in the room, the matress had the shape of very many other people sleeping in it, so it was leaning heavily to one side.
I enjoyed the rustic setting and the vegetation surrounding. The food was very good also. It is too far from the airport to be of practical value when factoring in the cost of transportation.
We have stayed in a Campanile before and therefore know the standard to expect. It was our sixth stay at this particular one. With them you get what it says on the tin which is quite suitable for us We had to ask for towels one night and that was the first time ever
Staff was friendly, restaurant was quite good and rooms was clean. Wireless internet access had a good signal.
Good location of the A115 motorway so did not have to head into town. There is a shopping centre 5 mins away which makes shopping easy. There is also a Mc Donalds, Quick and other places to eat 5 mins walk. The reception shuts at 2300, there is a "auto reception machine" which can hand out keys and the code for the gated parking on inserting credit card used for booking. However if you book via a broker like booking.com it will not work. Only works if booked the room direct with the hotel. Best to call the hotel and let them advice you.
No climatization of the rooms
breakfast 18 euros, not in right relation for this type of hotel
Great price, friendly receptionist
I liked the attention to detail. The food was good and good value to and the room was good. A bit of a wait whilst checking in...
Very good value for money. Not a very nice neighbourhood in general, but this seems to be undergoing a revamp, so perhaps it will get better over time.
rooms very OK. Clean. Comfort. Quite. Exagerated expensive breakfast...
The staff was very helpful and nice. There were pamphlets with detailed directions to all the tourist spots from the hotel. The hotel is about 35 minutes from all the tourist interests but the transportation system is great.
All Staff were friendly.
Very friendly staff and helpful. Polite and able to help. Location, area is not a nice and safe zone, additional; the front streets-roads are underconstruction.
Veryy convient to metro and Stade De France. Helpful and pleasant staff
this is ideally situated for use as a base for sport at the stade de france. staff did not seem interested in giving a good service
Close to Stade de France Not convenient to go to cdg airport early in the morning not close to a rer - had to take a taxi and pay 45 euros extra to get there
very near metro, and walk to stade de france . Had bar and food facilities . standard style as expected.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although it was not luxurious, it was good value for money and very easily accessed via metro Rooms were clean and bigger than I had anticipated. Good shower and tea/coffee making facilities in the room I would not have liked to have returned to the hotel late at night as the area made us a little cautious
Visiting from USA. Exceptional staff in politeness. Across the street from generous parking and metro into Paris.
overall a great stay. room was clean and had everything needed during our stay, thanks. no complaint on the hotel or staff...just the fact that i had booked two rooms but unfortunately the two rooms weren't next to or close to each other ie. 1st and 3rd floor. not a major problem but would've been more convenient :)
Very convenient to the Stadium Restaurant not open and television not International.
nothing was the worst wxpierence in my life
close to public transport, good support by personal dirty walls and ceilings in corridors
very expensive considering breakfast is extra cost effective poor rating the price , food poor
Breakfast: excellent. Hotel design and condition: perfect. Room facilities (safe, a/c, tv, etc.): perfect. Internet access: very convenient. Parking facility existing: ok. But extremely inconvenient: located in a nearby building. From that place to hotel entrance: combination of extremely narrow lift and stairs, very inconvient especially when carrying luggages. No temporary parking possibility in front of hotel entrance and no valet help. When being there first time by car, you are lost.
Convenient for La Defense area. Hotel was good value for money. The staff were very good, but checking in time was too long.
small bag with two bottles of water & snacks was given to me for city tour in checking in at reception littel bit long distance from parking space to reception, and small space at lift and stair case, so difficult to carry heavy big luggage. restaurant is closing for dinner
Clean, comfortable, quiet, nice view, friendly staff Rush time when leaving in the morning, wait for breakfast.
Local to where I was going, good combo internet/pay tv package, good breakfast for france, resonabl eprice slow checkout, they need a kiosk checkout
Close to La Défense. The parking garage is difficult to access with baggage for a strong person. I would think that a frail person could not manage.
Helpful staff Very noisy in the reception area and bar due to "tourist groups"
"Mercure" parking place
Clean and efficient.
Good price, good location (near métro), excellent views of seine & paris, very large room for price, comfortable Some of the staff could have been more polite
access to parking is not easy. we had to walk long way. without navigation system, it is not easy to reach hotel entrance by car.
Room had a view of the Eiffel tower which I was not expecting. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Had dinner one night at the hotel, it was terrible. Eat dinner somewhere else. The AC didn't really work but the weather was mild so it wasn't an issue.
hotel location bad air conditioning system. no good staff provided at the toilet.
Good location, good view of Paris from rooms, overall cleanliness
Very friendly and attentive staff who were happy to speak English. The hotel is located in a great area with river and city views and close access to the Metro and Disneyland trains The hotel is very busy with package tours and the facilities struggle to cater for the large numbers especially the breakfast catering and internet access
Very close to Paris. Not noisy at all. Nothing to see around the hotel.
the location no
the staff were very friendly and helpful no swimming pool
The hotel was very convenient and the staff were very helpful getting taxis, booking restuarnats for us. very good overall
The hotel was extremely comfortable, we especially appreciated the 'Wellbeing Centre' - gym, pool, sauna, steam room, etc. It was a great way to end a four week Eropean tour and prepare for 24 hours travel to Australia. As we were checking in, the desk clerk efficiently offered information about our departing flight the following morning (ours was an overnight stay in preparation for an international flight). She confirmed the terminal for us and that the flight was on time. While the airport shuttle bus isn't specifically the hotel's responsibility, the route it takes is rediculous if one seeks terminal one. We spent over 50 minutes on the bus and even began picking up new passengers and returned to a stop immediately beside the hotel before getting to terminal one. The desk staff should be encouraged to advise guests heading for terminal one that the route is impractical and that they should either use a differnt shuttle bus (if an alternative exists), or take a cab. The actual distance from the hotel was under ten minutes, but we took over 50 minutes on the bus - and were late for our flight as a result.
easy to live even with a 21 month baby The service maid is knocking at the door at 9 am, we were sleeping, they should check before if the people are at the breakfast or not. The shuttle system is very poor, why don't you stop at CDG 2B ? long run on foot through CDG
Clean no-smoking room, comfortable bed Having to pay for the shuttle to fair ground maison&object
A nice evening meal at a reasonable cost Price of beer in the restaurant was rather expensive
Nothing special It is located not at the terminal but in 15-20 minnutes away by shuttle bus. It is not clearly mentioned that actually there are 3 different Novotels there and you need to carefully check which one is the right one.
Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, convenient to airport. Loved being able to walk to the little village for dinner.
Nice room, very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return!
Location provided goos access to CDG airport, hotel was clean, modern and with good services; front desk staff were pleasant and efficient
the room was very good. (soffa and bed) it is the kind of room that can be used as an office out of office for a couple of days The internet connection (wirless by orange) did not work on my mobile device.
Shuttle bus driver was very helpful. Attractive lobby. Business type hotels are sometimes not particularly friendly to the ordinary traveller. This was the case at this hotel. Internet access cost 5 Euros for 15 minutes ( in the lobby) Many hotels I find give this as a free service now. Room was clean but not exceptional.
Friendly staff Waiting for the bus
I liked that is was clean and well designed. Good only for tour groups. Too many hotels of similar names in the area make it difficult to understand where is is in relation to CDG. Shuttle to airport takes forever. Service in the dining facility is a free for all , and because you are so far way from any other choices, you are forced to put up with what is there.
Ease of travel to and from cdg airport. Comfy, clean and value for money.
