Cleanliness, comfort and the staff
Large and comfortable room. Walking distance from the attractions. Quiet and clean When you reserve 4 people and get breakfast for only 2 it's disappointing.
Stay, hotel staff, Restaurant and service. There should be more than one soap. I had to request to send needed soap for bath.
Location was great. Staff were not very helpful and the rooms need to be updated.
The hotel itself is gorgeous. The view from our fallside room was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The bathroom and walk in shower was fantastic! The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful for all of our touristy questions! The bathroom door, while very aesthetically pleasing, was not very functional for a group of people.. the door didn't close all the way (it was a sliding barn door type style) and it didn't allow for the bathroom activities to be "separate" from the rest of the hotel room. The only other issue I had was the paying for parking (two nights was $70) and the breakfast buffet, while very good, was $22 a person.. just a hair on the expensive side for those two items.
Location, amenities Small bathroom, aged finishes, air conditioning system and condenser noise, parking fees
We liked the location best because it was within walking distance to everything. The pool was nice. The view of the falls was fantastic. The room wasn't very clean but in an old, "needs to be renovated" kind of way. Something orange dropped from the shower head on our last day there and the mini fridge hummed the whole time. We had dinner at Milestones and the food came out so fast it was obvious that it was prepared before we got there and reheated before being served to us. Not exactly the classy dining experience they try to promote.
I liked the friendly customer service It was a Sheraton not a Marriott, I have stayed all over the world in Marriott but this one was sub-par. I could've stayed at Sheraton instead and pay a lot less than paying Marriott money but staying in a Sheraton. In all I would never stay at this hotel again.
Beautiful view comfortable beds nice in understanding staff The room could use more lights
The service was great. The room was very nice. At the price of the hotel parking and wifi should be included. The room was a little outdated but nice.
We were switched from two queens to a king with no charge. The breakfast buffet option was a good deal (just make sure you are hungry). Our hotel view of the falls was worth the extra money to wake up to and be able to watch the colors and fireworks at the falls at night. I wasn't told up front how much parking was per day ($25) and I could have moved my car to cheaper lots had I known.
Romantic and spectacular! I loved it all!
We stayed on the 22nd floor rm 2225 and the view was incredible! Smack in the middle of the falls. Bed was very comfortable and the staff were very nice! My only complaints were that I found hairs in the tub and the parking was extremely expensive $35 a night isn't in my budget so we parked the casino. Coffee in the room was horrible and also WiFi wasn't free in the rooms either. Overall worth to pay the upgrade for a falls view. And in my opinion the only way to go it truly was a million dollar view! Parking fees very expensive No free WiFi were my main complaints
Came to this hotel basically for the view. Great to wake up seeing the Niagara falls. Bathroom toilet was too small, not standard size. Wi-Fi should always be free for guest, shouldn't have to pay for something that is standard in other hotel chains. Parking was expensive!
The view in our room (we upgrade it to the 18th Floor) was magnificent. The Marriot falls view is ideally located and easy access to every where. We enjoyed our stay very much. In room coffee machine is bad and outdated.
Can't beat the view, great modern updated room Parking cost
We had a room with a window that would open just wide enough to hear the Falls. Perfect. Rooms have two chairs facing the Falls. Short walk to a really nice non-smoking casino and a lift to visitor center close to the Falls. Need directions for getting from the Rainbow Bridge to the hotel. It was confusing. Cell service is expensive in Canada.
room was spacious and clean The pictures on-line were doctored to make it appear that the marriott was in fact in the location that is actually the fallsview casino. I chose the hotel and paid extra for the view but felt mislead by the photo online. Also I was not given marriott points for my stay because of booking through a third party. I won't do that again.
The view from our room was magnificent! The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is in a great location - kind of at the end so as to not be excessively busy and loud - and within walking distance to many great locales. I would suggest buying the bus/tour package for local attractions - great value! The room could looked clean on arrival. Housekeeping didn't do as great of a job as I am used to on subsequent days. I wasn't thrilled with the extra parking fee and taxes - to me it would be better to include it in the overall price and not charge additional for parking.
Hotel was way too hot. The rooms never cooked nor did the lobby. The wait for breakfast was too long.
Very nice lobby with with Starbucks and a restaurant for your convenience. Our falls view room was spectacular . A definite place to stay but do your homework first. The rooms are expensive, ask for anything that might be included! I asked and then recieved vouchers. Parking was outrageous at $35. Unless you have lots of dollars to throw around there might be a better deal around the corner.
location parking was $35 a day plus tax plus another fee not sure what it was! Nothing included! Shower very poor water pressure. Was very disappointed in a 4 star hotel would not stay there again.fD
- Great location, close to everything. - Basically attached to Rainforest Cafe, an indoor water park, Starbucks. - Gave a $5 gift card if you choose to forego getting fresh towels, etc as a thank you for "going green" -Bathroom was small in the room where we stayed (one queen bed) - Cable didn't work in our room
location and amenities -resort fee for internet access - they "predict" your spending habits therefore charging your credit card.
The staff were quite helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Some of the rooms do not have the views they are described to have.
Clean rooms, clean spacious bathroom, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, great outdoor pool - awesome view of the falls, great location - everything is walking distance, starbucks at lobby, fast check-in and check-out concierge glanced at us, maybe saw we're not Canadian (he was), glanced right back down at what he was doing. male staff behind him realized other guy was choosing not to attend to us, so he greeted us and asked us what we needed and proceeded to help us out. tsk tsk. this tiny bit was the only negative thing. shame on that dude.
Bathroom was small and the shower was rediculous short.
Got randomly upgraded to a falls view room for free, was awesome! Nice big spacious room. Window opened to outside. Could hear and see the falls all evening. Nice and clean. Fridge in the room. Resort fee included a beer tasting plus other perks. Would stay there again if I ever went back. Parking a bit pricy, but everything is.
The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very good location Starbucks in hotel prices are expensive and drinks are not good. I ordered strawberry banana almost $10 (including tax) and taste so bad.
The location was great. Lots to do. Didn't have to go out of building in winter if you didn't want to b The plug in the bathroom was so worn things wouldn't stay plugged in. There was some sort of crusty stain on the foot stool. Who was really gross.
Staff is friendly. View to the Falls outstanding. Parking is way over priced. With charge and additional fees we paid over $100.00 for having our car at an inconvenient location. Parking
The view from our room was fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable and the fireplace offered some unexpected romance. The staff was friendly when checking in and out. Close proximity to several attractions. Slow, small elevators that were often already full. The price for self parking seemed a bit high, considering the price of the room.
There were stains on the pillow. Washroom looked very old. pillows seemed very low quality.
Not bad just not great breakfast was diner quality not what I expected
Excellent location close to the falls Very friendly staff Very clean modern hotel Good included breakfast Long waits for elevators, especially at breakfast and evening Cost of valet parking - should have self park option. It also should be advertised better. Poor selection of reception snacks compared with other Embassy Suites - shouldn't advertise.
View of the falls from our room was great. We were on the 39th floor. Our suite was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Please note that the parking isn't free here and is valet parking only if you want to park at the hotel. It was $35 dollars a day if you wanted them to park at the hotel or $25 a day if you wanted to park at an offsite location and take the shuttle. Had a complimentary breakfast which was good too. The staff at the reception was ok, didnt think they were that great.
Plumbing was not good. Hot tub dripped constantly. Shower head could not be adjusted no matter what we did. Toilet flush handle felt very flimsy and seemed like it would break at any time.
Whenever I stay at hotels I look at reviews and I jump back and forth between hotels and most times can't make up my mind. My money was well spent with Embassy suites! We upgraded our room and the view was amazing! The room was very clean and big! The staff was always very friendly and ready to help with anything needed! When checking in they offer two options for parking. We went with the cheaper option, when checking out instead of having you car brought to the front of the hotel. A shuttle take you to a nearby parking lot where your car is. I found out this was better and faster since the shuttle comes back every few mins and the people who had paid more money for valet were having to wait like 30 minutes and more for their cars because everyone was checking out at the same time! So go with the cheaper option!
The view of all of the falls Was beautiful & perfect! We were on the 27 th floor , I was told best view was floors 29 & up! We can't imagine a better view! It was great! We would recommend to others! The morning breakfast could have served a different menu each morning! I would have liked an omlet but the line was much too long!
Place was under renovation when we were there, I find it hard paying top dollar going into a restaurant like The Keg with unfinished walls and drywall showing and the lights for the elevator hanging out of the wall.
The keg - good food and service Under renovations, noise at night from band playing elsewhere unable to sleep at a decent time had marathon to run in morning. Room more like a 3 star hotel.
Well kept Great Staff Breakfast included Happy Hour included Spectacular views Would definitely stay there again. Well staffed and everyone was above and beyond helpful. High Volume hotel Parking garage additional fees + valet Long elevator lines Long breakfast lines Long Happy Hour lines Since it is high volume and probably booked most of the time the lines can be long. The hotel tries to prepare you for this by posting what times are the best to avoid the longest lines. Only hidden fees were the parking issues.
Very well run hotel with beautiful rooms, incredible views, and easy access to town. Big crowds by parking valet, but this is to be expected during summer visits.
The reason we picked Niagara Falls for a vacation was to see and experience the views. Our "both falls view" was the best imaginable. The view from the on site Steak House The Keg Restaurant were amazing too. They use the same area for the Open Breakfast meal. The hotel is in a great location and easy to get to everything you want when visiting the area. They are in the middle of a Update to the hotel and rooms. The lobby is done and very impressive. Our room was clean but not updated, beds not that comfortable. My understanding is 3 floors have been updated and one by one they will all get done.
The hotel was chaotic but the rooms were very large and clean and incredible value
Nice clean rooms, jacuzzi and pool. Short walk to falls. Falls mostly hidden behind another hotel.
EVERYTHING!!!! Staff is so cordial! Beds are super comfy! I have nothing bad to say!!! Loved my experience!!
Nice facility, close to public transportation. Disappointed with pool and hot tub, hot tub was not hot and is connected to pool.
The main reason we choose the hotel is for the suite. We are two adults wanting privacy at night with the feel of two rooms. The bathroom was toward the front door so the one person in the bedroom has to walk thru the living room/other person's bedroom to use it. Usually we find suites that have the bathroom in the middle and it separates the two rooms so,there is no disturbance when using the bathroom
updated,clean,fruendly staff. $20 parking surcharge
Perfect location! Close walk down to falls & can take Incline back up to hotel, close to Casino, comfortable accommodations with indoor pool. Rooms with terrific falls view! Sometimes can get upgrade to higher floor or falls view room depending on occupancy. Stayed at many hotels here and keep coming back to Raddison.. It's the best value for price, comfort and location. Food is expensive in Falls area, my suggestion is to visit Niagara on the Lake ; food is better priced and the town is picturesque with shopping and wineries. Never had a bad stay here!
The view was nice. The sink was scratched and there were stains on the carpet. A little skanky.the
They friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was willing to drop whatever they were doing to assist us with any question that we had. Everyone of the personnel staff aided in making our stay enjoyable. That we only had 2 days.
Our room had an amazing view and it was clean and newly renovated. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The indoor pool is heated which was great to have since it was cold outside. Also, Tony Romas has a friendly bartender and a great breakfast buffet. Overall a great stay. The only downsides to this hotel is that parking is $20 a day and the sleep number beds aren't the greatest. Its not that the beds are uncomfortable, its just that compared to some luxury hotel beds they're definitely lacking.
We were promised a view of the falls and we had an awesome view! We also were given an upgrade to the 11th floor as a surprise. Had a sleep numbers bed which was awesome. Great food and room service. Would stay again! Couldn't see the fireworks but you can't have everything, right?
Hotel was nice and in a good location, within walking distance of the falls, casinos, and the hotel restaurants. The whole area around the falls is very resort style. Restaurants near the falls are grossly over priced and there is very little information available if you want to try some of the local bars and restaurants.
the motel is close to the Falls (7 min drive), but the same time it is in a more quite area. the price is very ok and so is the room itself. would like it a little bit cleaner...
The people are nice, but the room and furniture are ugly. Breakfast is very bad.
Hotel itself was huge. Very nicely done. Clean. Pool area looked different than in photos, still a good pool for kids. View was slightly obstructed by a giant casino with a huge digital monitor display on the side of it. Could still see both falls ok.
The Italian Restaurant was not good
The pillows and bed Poor connection on tv No radio No aux cable No clock Pay for 25 or 30 for parking -.- Not included breakfest Room wasn't what I expected king bed room I thought was somthing romantic side was 3 year anniversary
Overall very nice would come back again The lines at the check in and check out service
always take great pride in staying there. overall, the experience never disappoints. front desk staff is always incredibly helpful. I was discouraged by valet. when we were leaving I must have had 6 or 7 bags in my hand and as the valet driver got out of my car, I even made a point of telling him to give me a second for me a give him a tip. he just walked off to some other conversation he was having previously with someone else and didn't help me with my bags at all. I tipped him anyway, even though I shouldn't have.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was literally in awe from the sparkling bathroom floors! ( not one mark, hair, or streak) bedding and pillows were calling for us! My girls even commented and trust me they are Teens and super hard to impress let alone give a compliment. The maintenance call was handled quickly and effectively. The gentleman apologized for the interruption and easily fixed the shower drain backup. Most unprofessional staff We have encountered at a Hilton. We stay at them often and love the superior rooms and service. But after a long evening with our girls walking and enjoying the falls attractions Amd sites. Dropping almost $ 700 ln the room to start off to have to be charged for WIFI for the one person extra and to be told that we cannot enjoy the complimentary breakfast or attraction packages (even though we are paying the exact same price as the ones who qualify) and then to be insulted by offering us $3.00 off an iMax show (wow no thanks) super disappointed in the lack of effort and quite frankly rude and curt tone. Calling me dear while my title is Dr. That is petty and really didn't bother me too much just mentioned as a sidebar. Also I am a HIlton Honors member but I husband booked online and forgot to include the member #. Which they told us we cannot earn the points for this stay.... Why???? Idk
It was in a central location near restaurants and right up the hill from Niagara Falls. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Parking is $30 a day! Also was given a room without a bed in it when I first arrived. They were able to switch rooms for me though. I think there were cheaper hotels around that would've sufficed
Very nice hotel. Great location. Staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room for free.
Great location Didn't have my correct reserved room type and keys didn't work!
advertised a whirlpool tub and a view of the casino got a back room butted up against the elevator pick another hotel
Even we stayed only two nights it was worthed every penny. View at waterfall was amazing. Room was big, clean and very comfortable Elevators where only thing that was annoying..... Either was to long line or you have to miss out rides because it was full. (Maybe because it was Labor Day weekend and hotel was packed) Parking wasn't free and it was little bit pricey ($30 + ~20% taxes).
The location was excellent giving easy access to the Casino and the Falls. Plenty of good restaurants near by, easy access to our wine tour that we scheduled. Our first room was extremely small, had stains on the towels, one stain on the bed, fruit flies, and gum on the recycle bin. I went down to speak to one of the front desk agents to complain with pictures of the evidence. The agent gave me another room key to an " upgraded room". When my finance and I arrived at the next room on the 7th floor, I quickly realised that it was a handicap room. My fiance was not impressed, nor was I. We both took a quick look around and found the floors in the bathroom very greasy and found a few hairs in the bathtub. Also, I noticed the duvet cover was two sheets rather than a sealed duvet cover; I am not sure if this is customary at the Hilton.. I would not stay at this location again due to the reasons mentioned above, not to mention it was approaching $600 for 2 nights..
One of the only things that this hotel had in its "pros" column was the closeness to Niagara Falls, and the fact that we were able to check in 2 hours early. Where do I begin? Once we checked in in the chlorine-scented lobby, we loaded our luggage in the elevator to head to our room. Because the hotel only has one spot for guest elevators, we spent the next 4-5 minutes walking the long and winding hallways to locate our room. Once in our room, we noticed the strange set up for the bathroom: toilet and shower/tub in a closed room, sink exposed in the main living area shielded only by a small wall. Moving into the bed/living room, our "view of the Niagara" was awfully green; apparently the trees hadn't been trimmed in a while. We called to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms. While the staff member was friendly, he informed us that because we booked a room with 2 double beds, he could do nothing for our concerning our "view." Since we drove 6+ hours to see Niagara Falls, we needed a place to park our vehicle while we explored. Fortunately, the hotel has a good sized parking lot that they allow guests to utilize...for a small fee of $25 per day. My next trip to Niagara, I will most likely splurge and book one of the nicer hotels neighboring Oak Hotel.
The only good thing was you were close to lots of fun stuff in Niagara Falls and could "kind of" see the falls from your window. (4th level) They "upgraded" us in a room with a king sized bed that was actually a double bed made up for one adult. We had to call down twice for extra pillows. They actually put us in a wheelchair accessible room 421 with no tub, grab bars everywhere, and a chair in the shower. The water gets everywhere in the bathroom because there is no lip to keep the water in when we put the white towel on the floor to stop the water it turned black underneath from??? Dirty floors. There is no fan in the bathroom to remove the steam so when you shower it gets really hot and hard to breathe. Then, after you run the water there is this terrible rattling sound in the wall the pipes make. The dresser drawers are broken and hazards and never stay shut. When this was brought to the attention of staff upon checkout they basically apologized and said that "well we upgraded you, we would have put you on ground level outside in the motel next door with booking.com" because we only paid $265 for the night.. Who knew that the shitty motel next door to the hotel was actually a part of the hotel. It looks like somewhere you go to get murdered not a place you spend $300 bucks to stay. I suggest save your money and go somewhere else. Would only be worth it to spend maybe $50 but parking in itself is $25.
Friendly, helpful staff; excellent view of the falls; a true vacation for us Can't think of anything!
Free breakfast at the Applebee's next door. View of the falls was phenomenal from a fallsview room. We were on the 13th floor. I felt like we could have fallen out the window and into the falls. Staff was polite and helpful. Parking was an extra charge, not included in booking. It was another $20 Canadian.
If your room is on the higher floors, the view of the Horseshoe Falls is fantastic. Parking is expensive.
The view, pool and spa. Had to go outdoors to get to breakfast (with hotel voucher)- the staff at the restaurant wasn't very friendly to foreigners. Parking was quite a walk for a solo mom with luggage and a 5 year old in the dark. For a newly renovated hotel, it shouldn't have patches in wall paper and flimsy bedding. It is over-rated. Paying for location.
I only liked the location 1. Be aware that this hotel has motel like section with doors open to the outside. 2. Also, house keeping was banging on the door and window at 9am with the DO NOT DISTURBE sign on the door. 3. The beds they had in the room were full size not queen.
The hotel is nice and clean. The view overlooking the falls is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was served at Applebies next door, no options and not very good.
Location Parking costs extra. Lobby had a ceiling leak as we checked in. Room was a mess - no fridge, shower pressure was bad, lamp didn't work, even the room number was a paper with the number written on it. Staff wasn't friendly. Only thing good about this place is the location
walking distance to city amenities and the Falls a plus. The view from the room was amazing. Entrance lovely. The costs were exorbitant for off season, middle of the week. The room should have had a micro wave, fridge, luggage rack for that money. Parking fee was ridiculous ($25) and a surprise for an outdoor parking space. We were given someone else's parking card initially. Armchair seat cushion in room sagged. Why is there paper on the hallway windows? Stairwells were dirty and crude. A continental breakfast should be included for that cost. The room had a tired, dated appearance in contrast to the main entrance.
Decent. Was ok until elevator was out of order. Only has 2 elevators. One was out and we people had to wait up to 30 min to get in the only working elevator.
The location to the falls and walking distance to our favorite restaurants is fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. It appears there was a old two story hotel and the added the high rise later. We stayed in the out dated part of the hotel. The room smelled musty and old. It was a disappointing experience.
Easy access to casino. Good location for sightseeing and activities. No refrigerator in room. $20 a night for a fridge is dumb.
have to pay for parking
The room was awesome and had a great view of the falls Don't have any smoking rooms also didn't have completely bubbles for the juckuzy
Self parking wasn't near and soap wasn't full
This is a comfortable, clean, centrally located hotel.
Very Very VERY comfy beds and right in the middle of the upper falls activities. If you want to do something away from Clifton Hills it is a great place. Restaurants in the building, arcade in the basement and a walkway to the Casino across the street $18 to $25 for parking was not mentioned in the pricing and of for that additional cost we could have stayed at the Sheraton down the road with a view of the falls. Not a bargain at all.
Beds were very comfortable No fridge in the room
Easy access to anything and cleanliness
Room was okay. I couldn't find the value for money here. The overall layout of the rooms was confusing. Several different elevators that were poorly signed to get to a specific area in the hotel. It was very apparent as other guests were just as confused. When I went back to clarify which elevator I needed the front desk person was clearly agitated by my confusion.
Value Location Comfort Cleanliness Elevators - insufficient number Crowded
Looks great inside and out. Location is perfect. Price is good for the value . Staff is polite and we'll put together. Definitely would recommend it to anyone Pool shouldn't close that early . The hot tub also. They close at 11pm. The elevator a need to be repaired and reprogrammed so they move more efficiently .
We paid the extra money for valet service, but we were surprised to find an additional $35 fee for taxes on our bill (beyond the $25 for the valet) when we checked out.
This is not two stars. This is a 50 year old hotel. The breakfast Is in the office with no place to sit. Carpets are dingy.
Location for us Parking to close together side of truck was severely scratched from another guest vehicle.
This hotel was inexpensive and had an excellent location for getting to the Niagara Circle route bike trail. For the price, I have no complaints, even though it was pretty modest. It was basic, clean and simple, showing its wear as a pretty old motel. If you expect much, don't stay here. It is cheap for a reason. The soundproofing is not great, but nothing was loud enough for me to complain about.
Location. Very convenient to the QEW. Price was good. Staff was good. We had to ask for a room on the first floor, was not offered. The claimed to have free wifi but wouldn't know it from literature in the room. The continental breakfast was below par with others we've had. Very sparse. Holes in the window screen.
Nothing Un-welcoming from the look outside, peeling fading paint, looked like a very cheap motel in local town.
Friendly staff. Location and price good for our needs. water pipes burst so no running water for part of the day.small beds.
Absolutely nothingI As the room was dirty there were lights out in the bathroom staff and owners had no concern for their guests in room with dingy meeting painting I was very uncomfortable the entire time I was there.

Convenient to the Canada/US border. Very much not the 2 start hotel they represent themselves to be.
The price factor is a huge incentive, 20 min drive on a not so busy road. We were able to enjoy Niagara without breaking the bank.
Smelt clean. Close to border crossing Old and run down. Also the small office was locked in the morning so we were not able to get breakfast as included in our price. Definitely not a two star.
The lobby was beautiful! Warm and inviting. The front desk staff are friendly .Our room was lovely. The beds are amazingly comfortable!! Big and fluffy, like a sleeping on a cloud. The rooms are clean, the towels were fluffy and big.. The coffee in maker in the room was perfect. I would have preferred more creamers.but still perfect. The hotel is centrally located between the falls and Clinton Hill. About a 15-20 min walk to each, We certainly got our exercise !!! The Aveda Spa is wonderful. We each had a 55 min massage with a scalp treatment that felt and smelled amazing!! The indoor pool and sauna was the icing on the cake!! Would absolutely stay here again!!! Napoli Italian restaurant located one block away is delicious!! Would certainly go for a delicious relaxing meal!! The Ossa buco gnocci is to die for!! Dont miss the illuminated falls. Spectacular!! Be prepared to spend money. Food and entertainment is very expensive. This has nothing to do with the hotel. It is just reality in this area. Once i got over how $$$ everything is I relaxed, went with it and had a really enjoyable time.
The warm cookies were very tasty and the room was comfortable. TV was good, nice big fridge. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. Nothing, it's a good place.
Location, view from room, darkening shade for comfortable sleep. Would have looked a small table for the easy chair. view of the falls was somewhat obstructed, we mainly saw the mist and top of the falls, but couldn't see the horshoe falls at all. We had requested fall view room.
The ambience of the lobby has a warm friendly feel...very nice. For the price I shouldn't have had to pay for parking ($13) to only be told immediately after not responsible for my vehicle AND the SECURE lot next door was cheaper. Although the view of the falls was decent from our room the strong stench of cigarettes filled the room and the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. We didn't complain but we feel that because we arrived (12:00) early for a 3:30 checkin they could've done better. We wouldn't stay here twice...sorry.
It was close to many of the attractions. Mattress was too hard, pillows were too soft--no support.
The hotel lobby was beautiful and clean. It also had a full Starbucks beside the gift shop if you dislike the in-room coffee pot coffee. The room was very clean and the linens looked fresh and new. Overall, I would be happy to stay here again in the future. The bath towels were rough and thin and didn't do much absorbing. Also, the basic room is only available as two queen size beds. To get a king size bed you have to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. Not a deal breaker but also not very "couple friendly."
The staff, the warm chocolate chip cookies we received when we arrived, the view from out room, the suite and layout of our room. The price was a little high, but all of Niagara Falls is a little pricey!!
Very clean. Large room. Refrigerator included. Good beds. Good location. Parking aloud for checkout day. Nice staff. Very pretty hotel. Also, I forgot a nice belt and they called me to tell me. They are even sending it out without charging me for postage. Thanks Doubletree.
Staff was very accomodating;restaurant food was better than expected and prices were surprisingly reasonable. Restaurant staff were all exceptional.Loved the on site Spa-I always visit when we stay here.Beds were very comfortable Housekeeping did not replenish toiletries, coffee as expected. On site Starbucks do not accept Starbucks cards.Bath towels could use an upgrade
Everything was fantastic Nothing
Pool and spa were excellent. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. I liked the free cookies. Would stay there again and recommend it Nothing

Location my room
Wonderful breakfast Extremely cold rooms however they will provide a space heater
The staff were great. Loved the way the pool area was set up. Great location The room was very small. No fridge in room. The room was so hot even with heating unit turned off and window opened Staff had to bring fans up. Everyone was complaining of heat in rooms,
The falls view There was a strange odor in the hallway.
Fact it was connected to Casio Room was too hot ac wansnt working we couldn't sleep called downstairs a guy came up 3:30 he checked gave us a fan asked if another rom available he said not sure he will check for a call from downstairs telling us to go to another hotel!@3:30 am!!!
The staff was very nice. The hotel was in a good location. Overall a very good experience.
The best qualities I can say for the hotel are location, and staff friendliness (some of the staff anyway!) beds were smaller than expected, and the shower was filthy, prompting us to change rooms.
The view Too expensive parking
Rainbow room restaurant and location by the falls Room was smaller than photo indicated
Location The room and bathroom were tiny. The 'falls view' was a little stated - if we stood and angled just right we could see the falls out of the fairly small window in the room. Not quite the view we were expecting for the price we paid.

Fairly close to the falls. There was an indoor pool. Rooms are in need of essential repairs. Our shower and bath tub was backed up, had leaky faucets for the sink. Rusted bath tub that suggested there might be a bigger moisture issue in the bathroom. The wall paper was clearly paling off the walls around the entire room. The double beds were the most lumpy and uncomfortable things we've had to sleep on.
Clean room, very nice staff and close to everything. Pool was clean and relaxing after a hot day at the falls. Hotel is far enough from the crowds but easy walk to falls and US side and Clifton Hill. The parking at $15 for guests and non guests are the same, somewhat ridiculous. The breakfast buffet is $10 and no free coffee at the hotel lobby. Very high prices after spending money to stay there.
what i like in this hotel is the calmness of the area and the staff was so friendly. it's better if they enhance better their services. I didn't like being obliged to go to the elevator's area to be able to connect to wireless internet. I suggest to extend the coverage to the rooms walkway at least.
The buffet breakfast for $10 per adult. Walking distance to the falls and Clifton Hill We were placed on the first floor which felt like a basement. The rooms were outdated, musty and damp. The carpet was loose and needs to be cleaned. The cleaning staff cleaned half of the room, my son made the 2nd bed and they left towels on the floor. The adjoining room, which was family, had their room door left open. The amount paid per room, I was hoping for something a little nicer. I felt that because we booked with an outside agency, we were stuck in the basement instead of the main building which was nicer. There was signs stating there was vacancy, so I'm sure we didn't have to be put where we were.
The service was great, good directions and they gave us a late checkout. We booked a city view room but got a corner room looking over the pool and parking
location and the beds and the price
My 11 year old daughter is not shy when it comes to asking for help. She befriended one of the housekeepers, Darlene, early on in our stay. Darlene was so kind to my daughter even making sure to tell me what a ray of sunshine she was.
I liked the location and was amazingly surprise if the facilities offered as well as the room lay out. Parking was right there and even though we were 5 mins walking distance from the falls and all the entertainment we were away from the noise. N/A
The sliding glass door opened. False advertising. No restaurant or bar - advertised but was told it was seasonal Front desk staff rude Wifi - only available in hallway by the elevators and lobby Spoke to staff and was told hotel was full they didnt guarantee wifi. Would have stayed elsewhere if this was the case. No air conditioning. This was huge!!! Thought ac was broken and was told that weather was getting colder and the hotel had turned off the ac and turned on all of the heaters. It was 68 degrees. I have travelled all over and stayed in 2 star to 5 star hotels. Never have I been told that I could no longer use my ac. Not sure if this is an issue with kayak or Travel lodge but this is clearly false advertising. Also, when the heater/fan did come on it spit water out onto the floor and bed.
I loved the pool, hottub, sauna area. Great for families!! Rooms a bit dated; however, doesn't matter. Price was right and very clean. No lunch available - restaurant closed on Monday of the March break?? Seriously. Also, breakfast included for a flat rate would've been a nice touch.
Beds were really comfortable. The staff were helpful. Loved the kids pool adjacent to the swimming pool. Good water pressure in the room shower. Location was great! Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk or catch the WeGo bus. Dated! But clean. Torn carpet, old fixtures. Wifi was terrible unless you were in the lobby. Breakfast was a little expensive.
We watched the nightly 10 pm fireworks right from our room window. We walked to all the Clifton Hill attractions. The indoor pool & hot tub were great for the kids. Liked everything
Location and cleanliness. Expensive breakfast and parking
Our room was very nice with a jacuzzi tub which was a pleasant surprise. Our view was nothing to enjoy. The staff was not very helpful with directions to the local attractions.
Rooms were big Great view of the city Walking distance to Niagara falls King size room had a pool out coach
STAFF WAS VERY CARING . PARKING VERY CONVIENENT . 2 COMPUTERS AND PRINTER IN BUSINESS AREA FOR USE . LARGE IN ROOM SAFE . THIN WALLS . HAD HONEYMOONERS ON ONE SIDE MAKING "NOISES" AT 2am and again at 5am 2 days in a row . ON THE OTHER SIDE COUPLE PLAYED RADIO AND OPENED , CLOSED , LATCHED ADJOINING DOOR AT 4:30 am THEN HAD LOUD CONVERSATION . MATRESSES TOO SOFT . HOT / COLD INDICATOR IN SHOWER WAS OPPOSITE OF ACTUAL OPERATION .
Room was clean Every time I go they give me excuse that they have water problem even after I reserved a room online then they shift me to a lower class room for same price which is not fair it's a ripoff
It was clean, comfortable, good location. We had no issues whatever. It was not fancy, but e erything was functionable. No issues whatever.
Location and cleanliness Parking was added on at the end of stay. We would have appreciated notification of parking fee prior to stay since parking lot adjacent to hotel was $5/night.
Loved the location, the room was great, the service was great, and the hotel did stay very quiet and there were 3 sports teams while we were there. The wait time for the elevator was 15 minutes at peak time. And I would suggest going out for breakfast.
The hotel is conveniently close to all the attractions, yet it doesn't feel loud or crowded. We really took advantage of the indoor and outdoor pool, the spa, and the sauna. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. We had a great view of the park and the city landmarks. I've stayed in Niagara before and this was the better experience by far.
Great location close to Falls and everything !! Will stay there our next trip
Very nice room, clean and great location. Not enough towels for two people... Refrigerator didn't work.. A/C is poor.. Hardly cooled the room. Staff not so welcoming nor friendly at desk.
great and big breakfast as buffet, elevater, swimmingpool and whirlpool
The hotel was clean and well maintained all the way around. It has a good central location. After check in the staff was exceptional. Check in was much more difficult and time consuming than it should have been. Despite having a paid reservation one of the front desk girls wanted to hold my passport.
I liked the close proximity to some popular streets/attractions. I also liked The free basic breakfast (bagels, apples/bananas, cold cereal, donuts) and coffee from 7am to10am. I did like the staff, they did a good job of helping me and answering my questions. The room was nice and clean, and had everything it needed to have. The pool area with hot tub and sauna included was nice to have and was well kept. I also liked that on my check-out day, I could keep my car parked at the hotel till 3pm, just incase I wanted to do a few more things before I left. Which I did and that was a great help to me as a guest. Paying $10 for parking was not good, specially because the property has a lot near the hotel, but not at the hotel and not that far from over parking lots for $5 to $7 a day. Also at breakfast there wasn't much room to set and move around the breakfast area, there was no line, just grabbing and pushing to get what you wanted. But that's also on the other guest too.
Location and breakfast (continental) cereal, coffee, fruits, bread, bagels. My room was 107, near the lobby and comedor, it can get loud in the mornings because of breakfast. Paying for parking 10 dollars, not good, specially because the property has a lot near the hotel but not at the hotel and not that far there was a parking lot for 5 dollars a day.
Close to the falls The whole hotel smelled like fish and the breakfast was very poor.
free basic breakfast (bagels, apples/bananas, cold cereal, donuts) and coffee all the time. close proximity to some popular streets/attractions. charged for local phone calls and 1-800 numbers. racked up a $17 bill. staff did not clearly communicate the fees. although listed in the "fine print", I was never alerted and I did not think this a was common practice for such a hotel. VERY disappointed.
nothing to brag about ptice, paying for parking, no fridge, no microwave, pool cold, basic cable- 12 channels,
Closeness to falls and many attractions. For a 4 star rated hotel it lacked in facilities and cleanliness. Also expected a higher quality of beddingA(mattress and linen quality) No food available in hotel except from vending machines. Only 1 ice machine in the whole hotel. pool area not well kept.
cleanliness,hotel staff,comfort TV in the room-too cheap,no frigde,parking???
walked to the falls
it was only about a ten minute walk to attractions
The location was great.. Bad tv channels, small room...Don't think we will go back
Centrally located. Most sites walking distance. Needs updating, parking should be free if you stay there... plus my car was dinged in the lot!
Very dirty. Un safe. Was warned about shady characters walking around. Water stains on furniture.
Only thing good at this hotel is location. The room smelled like cigarette smoke (our clothes and hair smelled just from being in there). The curtains looked and smelled like they have never been washed since they were put up. Even the air coming out of the a/c unit smelled. Stained carpeting. Tried to get a different room but was told none available. Front desk staff not helpful. (During our 4 day stay we dealt with a broken toilet, broken safe, dog barking through night, elevator broken for 2 days). This hotel is for smokers and people traveling with dogs. Wish we had left as soon as we smelled the room.
the location was excellent. the hotel was clearly in a run down state. it did not warrant the price tag for staying there. simple things like removing/cleaning notice boards in the elevators would go a long way to give the illusion of better upkeep. impressions are important.
Total cost for a King bed and fold out couch was $57.50 (US). You could see the American Falls from our window. They would probably be obscured by trees when their leaves return. Pool area was fine, perhaps a little stark. Bed was somewhat comfortable. The room was kept up. For some reason, there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector. Walls seem very thin. Could hear the neighboring TV very clearly. We used the noisy fan to create white noise to drown out the TV. Our door would rattle when the neighboring door would shut. The bathroom could use some work. The light colored tile grout was turning black and tiles cracked.
godd service and quick response to urgent needs everthing seems normal
It was good price and close to the falls and Clifton hills My room did not have a jacuzzie tub like in the description I was kind of disappointed by that
I loved the location! The stuff was very nice, room had everything we needed. There was an "old carpet" smell in the hallway and the room. I mean it nothing that will burn the nose hair but it was there.
Had the junior suite which was very spacious (however friend also had suite that was slightly smaller so specify when booking). Overall was a decent stay for one night but wouldn't want extended stay there. Close to clubs and shopping! For some reason the tv channels were seriously lacking. Aimed to be back in room for jays game but couldn't get it on tv! Also mini-fridge and microwave are great to have but seriously small and outdated! My friends and I joked that this was a hotel-motel feel.
location I was charge extra for a full parking Parking lot. Room is dark and tv super old , with 5 channels. They offer Wii fi ,but it was not able . I complained and a handyman came to help me and He said sorry. It does not work on 8 floor. Luis Araoz
. Staff was nice /helpful. Location was great / / room was clean Not much parking . A/C unit does not work . Water damaged room on walls & cealings
It was a very short commute to the Hornblower Cruise, walking distance. 24/7 convenient store literally next door. One roll of toilet paper, fear of running out.
The Motel part of the hotel is from the 1960's. I upgraded to the Hotel part. Everything is very used and run down. The parking garage is scary (a coat of paint would go a long way). The rooms are used. The bed linens and towels are old and low quality. Some Days Inn Executives should spend a couple nights there.
We were charged for parking and breakfast for one which was shown as free while booking No free parking No breakfast
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Good location very close to all amenities. The price was quite expensive considering there was no breakfast included. I was dissapointed there wasn't a mini-fridge in the room and the ice bucket was big enough for only 2 drinks. We had to use the recycling bin as a ice bucket instead.
Noisy and full of bugs Nothing
I didn't like that when they charge me for parking and no breakfast included.
The hotel is is Ina good location, easy walking distance to all attractions Hotel is dated. It need thou rough cleaning and update.
Right near all of the attractions! Pool! Nice rooms! Only downside would be parking underground, but that wasn't a big deal with all of the other positive things about this hotel.
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed and mostly clean rooms. Parking, despite the $10 charge for it, is decent and was allowed to leave my car there all day even after check out in order to continue my sight seeing. Pool is accessible only by walking across a court yard to the main building. More of a car motel than a hotel. Also, despite the room being clean, there was a lot of ants crawling in through the cracks near the bathroom entrance. Had to take paper And wash cloths to cover the areas to limit the amount of Ants coming in.
That the room was small and good price for one night. Could have been a little cleaner and not look so old like the bedding and could include a mini fridge Atleast
Nothing I nooked this room and so did two other family members. My room was gross, stains all over the carpet , we didnt have a fridge or mocrowave . Our het tub was dirty and didnt work. The other two familes had nicer rooms with fridge microwave and falls view. They paod cheap price too. The applebees was cloed down for maintance . Over all experience i would never stay there again
