Cons:Pickup was inefficient and took over an hour. When we did reach the counter there was no clear breakdown given for all costs associated.
Pros:Staff was friendly but could not help me overcome the wensite issue
Cons:FOIX COULD CONSIDER ENGAGING IN FAIR TRADE PRACTICES. THAT COULD HELP. I reserved a car on line for 10 days. Price: $250. Got to SF 10 hours late. Because of the delay I asked to change my reservation from 10 days to nine days. Agent made the change and the new price was $400!! Said there was nothing he could do. It was the computer's fault!! During our stay COVID restrictions were imposed on LA so we shortened our trip by 2 days. When I turned in the car there was no reduction in price. I was charged a flat $66 per day!! The agent told me this could not be changed. It was according to FOX pricing policy. He would not even give me the weekly rental price, which was lower. As far as I am concerned, a friendly agent and a clean car do not cancel out grand larceny. NOT GOIMNG TO USE FOX AGAIN NO MATTER HOW LOW THE ADVERTISED PRICES MAY BE. IT IS A CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH SCAM.
We had to take an extra shuttle from the car rental center to their location which we were never told about. I got billed an extra $96 for gas and $175 for insurance. I spent over 2 hours on the phone waiting to talk to someone about these charges. They removed the insurance fee (I hadn't requested it), but wouldn't adjust the gas fee. I had returned the tank 1/4 full. Complete rip off - will not use this company again!
Pros:Drop off was super easy although we had to wait for a while to get the car.
Cons:Waited an hour in line. We booked a car for $230 for the week. They tried to upcharge us to over $700 for the week. Settled at $320 because you HAVE to get fasttrak to go anywhere which was never mentioned. Finally got to a car and it was dented with lots of various body damage. Will never use them again.

Cons:I had to cancel Bc of the virus and could not get any response about a refund. With all companies that are trying to help their customers, this was very disappointing.
Cons:I booked a car in advance of my trip. When I arrived, fox told me that they no longer had a car for me because of a recall. I still had to have a car though, so I had to overpay for a last minute booking from somewhere else. I overpaid because fox can’t communicate with its customers or find a way to deliver on their promises. So not only did fox cost me a lot of money, I lost time that evening on a short vacation. Never booking with fox again.
Cons:It would be nice if the street address of the dropoff location were more prominently and accurately noted on the paperwork.
