We were warned that this company is notorious for nickle-and-diming you for minor scratches and damage to the vehicle. Thankfully we had on issues and were diligent with our pre and post rental inspections; however, I think it makes sense to warn potential renters. Additionally, note that their location is not -- in fact -- at the airport. Instead, you have to PURCHASE shuttle tickets between the nearby Novotel Hotel and the Airport, which adds time and cost to those flying in and out of Stansted Airport. Other than that, they allowed us to return the car on Saturday (some rental car businesses don't have weekend hours in this area), and everything went great. Budget rental, friendly staff. Rental pick up is at Novotel about 15 min bus ride from Stanstead terminal. Bus pick up point is difficult to find, no signs or directions and is not with main car rental locations. Bus runs about every half hour, so could take 45 min or so to get to Greenmotion rental office which is a small trailer, staffed by indifferent people a short walk from the hotel. Took a long time to complete all their paper work, even though I had pre-paid on line. Agents try to sell you all kinds of add-ons. Car was nice, clean etc.Reviewed Jul 7 2022

I am unclear about Green Motions extended hire policy. I asked about an extension a while ago and the price was in line with the weekly rate I was already paying. I enquired about an extension this time and the rate seemed to revert to the day rate i.e. two and half times more. I would like to know what the policy is to inform future trips.Reviewed Dec 3 2021
