Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. Close to everything we wanted to do. We came specifically to spend time at muskegon state parks sports complex. Hotel was located only 20 ish mins away. You get what you pay for here. Overall our say was good for us.
Cons: Hotel was under some interior renovations, pool and hot tub area had extremely strong chlorine.
Pros: I brought 3 kids 10 and under to stay at this Baymont. They loved the pool and hot tub, and the location was close to the museum we wanted to visit. We did not try the breakfast. Did I say we loved the pool.
Cons: The sink outside the bathroom was unusual arrangement, and the undersink pipe leaked a little when using. The hotel could use a facelift. Theres no elevator to 2nd floor.

Pros: Infused water and coffee in lobby, bar area and parking. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
Cons: No cots available. Had a sick child that needed to sleep alone. We ended up having an adult sleep on the floor. Grab and Go breakfast was OK, but fruit looked a little too ripe and no cups were available for coffee..had to go to lobby. Tablecloths were not cleaned off. No one was around manning the station at all to clean or replenish.
Pros: Everything was great! Friendly at front desk and in bar/restaurant. Room was clean & big enough, coffee in lobby all day, restaurant had breakfast at $10 for adults & $5 for kids. All we needed was milk for our baby & they gave it to us for no charge. Hotel also had free grab & go breakfast.
Cons: Parking lot location was a little hard to find, but might've been my fault. It was fine.
Pros: Hot tub & pool
Pros: Check-in was nothing short of positive. I had used the Kayak app on my phone, not realizing I had the wrong dates. When I went to check-in, the young lady did everything to find a room, which was tough. Electric Forest was the next day. I was placed in a room, and didn't pay a cent extra.
Cons: Great experience overall. The continental breakfast was lacking, but I'm not big on hotel breakfasts.
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were fairly large and we got a good rate.
Cons: There was no continental breakfast option (had to pay) and the top level of the parking garage was hard to navigate because of all the snow piles.
Pros: Restraunt was nice and conveniate.
Cons: Terrible access to lower parking garage. Elevators took for ever waiting on them sometimes up to 10 mins

Pros: Friendly staff, clean facilities (were the carpets just cleaned, as they seemed damp?), reasonably convenient location.
Cons: Expensive. We have stayed in much larger cities in a suite with a full kitchen and excellent buffet breakfast, pool, and exercise facility for less money.
We had questions regarding our bill as we left and there was a "sub" from another hotel at the desk who could not answer any questions.
Pros: Friendly staff, check in was easy and room was out dated. Overall it was a place I will stay at again.
Cons: Checked out in early 0500 no one available, did not answer the night call system.

Pros: Relatively cheaper price but if I had to spend more than the 7hrs I was there, I would have opted to pay 10-20 more for a cleaner place.
Cons: Staff was the usual "I hate my job" attitude but checked me in in a timely fashion.
I rented a non-smoking room but there was a faint smell of cigarettes right when I walked in. I thought maybe it was coming from somewhere else but I found what was an obvious cigarette burn on the comforter. I even took a few pictures of it. Too tired to complain as I arrived around midnight, I just slept on the other side of the bed.
Bathroom smelled like urine, was not pleasant so I just skipped a shower altogether.
Cons: All towels were stained, bed sheets dirty as well as the shower. Smelled of cigarettes and there were spiders an bugs everywhere. Disgusting never again, wasted my money .. Almost bought another hotel.
Pros: Comphy bed and pillows..
Cons: Bugs...in the corners of the room..on top of the counter where tv was a bug was lying on its back kicking and dying...gross.. bteakfast room vould be bigger because it was packed..
Pros: Clean comfortable bed,clean room.
Cons: Air conditioner seemed out dated and no conditioner in bathroom.Towel rack over toilet.had to retrieve one face towel from toilet.Breakfast room to small,we asked two guest to sit with us because they were eating on top of the trash containers.
Pros: The breakfast was small but it had a waffle maker, and they had HBO in the room.
Cons: Not enough outlets, the way they had the room setup with wall adapters and extension cords made it feel like a fire hazard. The alarm clock made a noise when the phone was next to it. The room smelled of stale smoke, and there was cigarette burns in the linen.
Pros: Staff very friendly, proficient and accommodating. Very clean.
Cons: Pillows were small throw pillows. Insufficient electrical outlets.

Pros: The staff acknowledged a poorly cleaned room and refunded money. The sheets appeared to be fresh.
Cons: The feel around the hotel is not very safe. Kids were running around unattended at night. Someone was talking to my wife in the parking lot appearing intoxicated. There was no prepared food for breakfast. Caution tape where landscaping should be, a boarded window. I understand that certain hotels may be in this kind of condition (from economics, supply, demand, price), but I thought I was paying for something better. Wished I would have read the reviews better.
Pros: Inside room was fine. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Cons: Outside room looked run down and filthy.
Pros: The girl that checked is on was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The place is run down, not clean. The bed was horrible.
Pros: Staff were nice an welcomed us and worked with us with are check in time. We arrived early. I live in Muskegon but I have family that come in all the time an we have been trying to find a motel for them to stay at. Wish it could be this one. Thought after motel was redone would be great place. But with children running around both times we stayed not sure if place for us .
Cons: All entrances need to be shovled and salted my girlfrienf slipped an fell .Plus ciggrette butts need cleaned from all entrances was descusted.
Children running around an staff allowing it to happen at all hours of the night.
Tubs need to drain properly. An floors need to be cleaned.
Pros: Pet friendly...
Cons: I have given red roof 3 trys in the last 2 months...first time bed frame broken... Floors needed vacuumed..
2nd time very loud music strong smell of marijuana and my card was double charged for the room.
3rd time I came at 2:30 and was told my room isn't ready came back a hour later and was put in the handicap room. Where the fridge didn't work and was told there is nothing they can do to fix it...loud parties all night. Horrible customer service, horrible rooms that the website says New rooms... Curtains are rigged up in all 3 rooms I stayed in...even worse is the ice machines don't work they are now locking up the only 2 working vending machines after breakfast..... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

We also feature an indoor pool and hot tub, interior corridors, an exercise facility, a business center, and free continental breakfast.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a pool coffee and vending machines. It was close to fast food. Not too far from down town. The sheets were clean and the housekeeping obviously did the best they could. The room had a microwave and fridge. The TV worked and had a lot of stations.
Cons: The chairs were old and stained. There was no blanket available in the room. There were small flies around the bathroom sink. The cauking around the sink was missing. The toilet paper holder kept falling out of the wall. In and around the microwave there needed to be some deep cleaning. One towel was clean, but had a strange odor.
Pros: There was a pool.
Cons: There was bad smell all around the hotel.Hair dryer and some charger spots were not working.Generally it was not same as on the photo internet.
Cons: 2 lights didn't work in our room. Contenential breakfast was advertised but not served. Very outdated and didn't look clean.
Cons: My air didn't work. The drapes were to short, so at 6am I was up because the sun was shinning in. Didn't like the place at all!
Pros: They brought in some great coffee from a local place. Location was okay.
Cons: It was gross (very dirty), bed was uncomfortable, no curtain, no phone in our room, gave our room to someone else after we were already checked in, (they resolved the issue, but it took a while, they acted like it was no bid deal), Elevator didn't really work, Ice makers were broke or non-existent, Stairs had trash in them, TV didn't really work, Shower sprayed water everywhere. Overall it wasn't a great stay and we won't go back.
Pros: Nothing Really
Cons: Rooms are Very Small
walls were paper thin, I could hear the ppl next door
one bed came with no pillows on it, curtains were falling down to the window.
bathroom was Horrible. Toilet seat was cracked inside the toilet it looked as though no one cleaned it in months, Tub drain was broken and pieces were left on the tub.
Carpet was very dirty,
Pros: There was absolutely nothing good about this stay.
Cons: The hotel was dirty, and the people were sketchy. The hotel is in a bad part of town and the pictures are so wrong it's not even funny. I will never again stay at that hotel or in that town. There are way better hotels for the same price outside of Muskegon heights. I would never suggest for anyone to stay there. It's not safe or clean at all.
Pros: Not sure
Cons: Too many things to mention here
Pros: The room where we were was comfortable enough for the price we paid and also considering we were there only on night, it was not bad at all. We did not have any expectations to start with in this place and were looking for a place to just sleep for the night.
Cons: Needs a better breakfast room and variety. Staff is not friendly.
Cons: Our guys where there on business and everything was down, the elevator the system the cards would not work.
