Love the cozy country setting! Breakfast was superb!
Lovely B&B in a beautiful historical home. Host was very friendly and breakfast was delicious! The bed was very hard. :(
The Inn keepers Doreen & Cole were wonderful! They made our stay comfortable and fun. The breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed a delightful, substantial meal with engaging, interesting conversations with fellow patrons. The accommodations were lovely! No. We will definitely visit again to see Doreen, Cole & Elliot ( the cat )!
I loved everything about the George Perley house but if I had to choose one it would be the owners. They are such a sweet and caring couple making sure we'd always have everything we need. They make you feel home and like you are part of them. I loved everything like I said....some people might be not too happy with the location since it is in a tiny tiny town but it is just a few miles off the I95 and so worth a stay
Friendly staff, great price, very nice rooms No continental breakfast
low traffic noise T.v. did not work
Very comfortable room - individual fan/heating was perfect. Fabulous vintage restaurant next door to the hotel. Loved the fountain in the pond and the woods behind the hotel.
It was a beautiful location big lawn nice woods close to a good restaurant
Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean room.
Excellent location in Freeport only a few blocks away from Main street and the outlet stores but away from main street enough that it was quiet and not much traffic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Room service took a while but was quite apologetic. Breakfast was not included.
Nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms and good amenities. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Great location in Downtown Freeport with lots to do in walking distance. Beds could have been more comfortable. Breakfast not included.
the room was as they said, clean, beds were comfortable, close to all the shops and gas stations, over all experience was great, next to rt. 295 but couldn't tell. staff was courteous and helpful. the bathroom was the only thing we had a problem with and it was not a big deal, the tub spout was loose and spun around, the toilet overflowed with no plunger around to fix the problem.
room great food was very good staff was very friendley room clean ever thing was perfect we had a great time
It was much better than I thought it would be! The room was wonderful and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! I was pleasantly surprised. When they said enter through door 8 to get to your room, but there was no number signs on the doors.
Great location, clean room.
large room no skype service
Location in Freeport was great. Staff were super friendly and informative. Cleanliness was great too. The continental was perfect if you only need a light breakfast. Stated here multiple times and will stay again.
good location, recently renovated (I think). rooms are very small
Very close to the highway, ample parking. The room was VERY small. On one side of one of the beds there was approximately 10 inches to get in and out of the bed.
convenience off highway and cleanliness No will stay again
Really convenient to Freeport and the Interstate. Great, clean, no-frills place to stay. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, but the room was fine. Wish there had been more protein of some sort as part of the breakfast.
Very clean, had everything we needed, AND a really nice breakfast buffet- much better than the usual loaf of Wonder Bread and brown bananas offered at comparable places! It is clear that the staff care about keeping the quality of this hotel very high.

Nice room soft sheets quaint building well refurbished nice bartender
The sheets! Best of any hotel anywhere. Staff friendly and terrific! No. Loved it.
Wonderful, charming, inn. Stayed during thanksgiving. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. The room and common areas we immaculate and there was a warm fire going in each one. In the heart of Freeport. Highly recommend.
Location was great. Price was reasonable and it was clean. Great breakfast! Our room was located next to the back entrance door (RM 114). We could here everyone entering and leaving due to the door slamming. Made it difficult to fall asleep.
Our room was comfortable, easy to access and the location of the hotel is wonderful. I had to book through a discount agency - after calling the hotel twice to ask them to 'match' the discount rate. I would much rather deal with Hampton Inn!
Location worked well for me and parking was plentiful. The room was clean with basic needs met easily. There was a nice place to hang clothes, work on my computer and relax. Traveling alone, I felt very comfortable entering and exiting the building and sleeping at night. Front desk staff was very attentive and friendly. The walls are a bit thin so you could hear all movement in the hall and at times people next door but it was not disruptive or distracting.
Little bit better breakfast
The owners of this B&B are gems!!! Hotel employee were so warm and welcoming, it felt like you were a guest in their home as opposed to staying in a hotel! Breakfast was so delicious and hotel employee is quite the wiz in the kitch N/A
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly with good local knowledge. We only stayed for 1 night but would recommend it for a longer stay.
The bed is very comfortable and the location was quiet from vehicle traffic noise. Everyone else must agree because it was booked solid. Nice location with easy, close access to LL Bean and nearby Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, City of Portland, and major highways. Will definitely stay there again.
Very clean with exceptionally comfortable bed. There were more features than we needed (microwave and fridge). The coffee maker was the weakest link in the equation. But it was a short distance to a Dunkin Doughnuts, upon departure.
Location, continental breakfast, friendly staff, clean room It would have been nice to have a small table and 2 chairs outside the room to enjoy the outdoors. The hanging plants were drying up - looked uncared for and the parking lot outside our room had piles of discarded furniture, etc. It was an eyesore.
Exactly as an Econo hotel is.
Really nothing Sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable, AC was loud and didn't work well, bathroom was dimly lit and lacked amenities, carpet was sticky. All together disgusting. Manager was a horrible person. Never again!
Way too expensive
We took our 4 yr old grandson to the pool. He loved it and so did we. Comfortable & clean.
Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean and grounds were well kept. Free breakfast was real good. Shower was great but a little tough to get into for us old guys. TV system card had not been updated so finding programs took some effort. The refrigerator was mediocre.
I like the free breakfast and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. Not really worth mentioning, but there was a light bulb out in the room which I'm sure that they fixed immediately. They thanked me for letting them know. Everyone was very polite to me.
I felt like my stay was very comfortable, and the accommodations were way above the level of other hotel rooms in the same price range. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were plush and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked with a great selection. I will definitely keep this Super 8 in mind for all my future trips to Portland, ME.
The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. the walls are paper thin. I had to listen to obnoxously loud drunk people throw up at 4:00 in the morning. All in all we paid $90.00 for a $45.00 a night hotel room.
It was a reasonable value for the money. A little dated.
Cost, pool although we didn't use it Our room was not cleaned over 2+ days. Left very late one day and had "do not disturb" up in am so maybe they don't clean later on. But the previous day no sign and still no one came. Girl at front desk was not concerned when I told her about it.
