OK a better TV would be better room was clean, beds were good No shampoo
The night crew/guy/manager was polite, professional and made efforts to help us into a cooler room. He gets an A. When I called the front desk again at 9pm, sweating while lying still, the night manager (the guy who gets the A rating) said there were no fans left and the best he could do was move us. He did but the room was only slightly better. The dingbat daytime desk girl! When I called her because my room was a sauna she replied "yeah, all 3 buildings have issues"... did not offer a fan which I didn't even think of till later (must have been the heat exhaustion from simmering in the room!). So, they KNEW their A/C was broken, but of course this is not mentioned when making a reservation! Completely unacceptable with 95-100 degree temps! The motel itself was not impressive (niether was Green River for that matter). The air conditioning was completely useless! Apparently there were fans but she didn't offer one when I called the first time. Do not try to "save" money by staying here!
I was really hoping to take a soak in a hot tub like is advertised about this hotel. But I get there and it's outdoors and completely shut down. I was on the first floor and in my room on the ceilings were crawl spaces, kind of gave me the creeps. It's a good enough place to rest buy I wouldn't choose to stay there again.
Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, manager / operator was friendly and accommodating. Bathroom plumbing needs work. Could not get hot water in our shower. Perhaps this will be fixed soon. We notified the hotel manager.
Freshly baked warm muffin for complimentary breakfast. Very good mattress.
What a pleasure to stay at your hotel. Very clean and the staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. A friend made the recommendation and now we will make recommendations to others.
Wow! This hotel is located in one of the most desolate areas in the US. There is literally NOTHING for 100 miles west of Green River (not even a gas station or a port-a-potty) and practically nothing for 100 miles to the east. In spite of the town's depressing locale, the hotel was very nice and a welcome oasis in the midst of desolation. Make sure you fill up your stomach and your gas tank before leaving town!
Our experience at this hotel was very relaxing! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area. The pool was nice and refreshing. The breakfast was top notch! Anything you could want for breakfast, they had! We would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work!
Highly recommended, you couldn't ask for better.
This hotel was a great value for the price. While we were there we overheard a last minute booking that was $60 more than we paid in advance so book early. The hotel was a little further from Moab than we expected. It is almost exactly 50 miles from Arches National Park but was a quick highway drive. The hotel offered a free breakfast (self service buffet style) each morning which was much more than we expected. The food was fresh and there was a hotel worker constantly restocking the food. The breakfast included pancakes, eggs, meat (they had bacon one day and sausage the two other days we stayed), biscuits & gravy, bagels, toast, cinnimon buns, juice, coffee, tea and hot coccoa. It was a great start to the day before the long hikes at the National Parks. We met up with friends who stayed right in Moab and paid $10 more per night than we. For their money they had a tiny smelly room in a motel without any food services. We were very glad we made the decision to stay at this hotel and were very pleased with the service we got. We loved relaxing in the hotel hot tub after our long hikes. There are few restaurants in Green River but we did find a wonderful local restaurant near a gas station just a few hundred feet passed the hotel. The food was reasonable priced and they had a large variety of choices.
Nice place to stay. Clean rooms. Kids loved the pool. Wish the pool water temperature was a warmer!
Very comfortable here. We hoped to have a refrigerator and didn't. That would have been helpful for our trips to the National Parks in the area.
We had driven from Los Angeles and were anxious to have a clean, comfortable place to spend the night. The hotel is very nice, the bed was great, the staff was courteous, and breakfast the next morning was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel.
The Holiday Inn is fabulous! The breakfast was to die for! The bed was SOOO comfy! All the little ''extras'' made our stay super nice, extra soft sheets and pillows, really good coffee, and the cinnamon rolls are my new favorite treat! We needed some extra services and the staff was so polite and so eager to help. I loved every moment of our visit and cant wait to go back! We will ONLY be staying at this hotel for all of our Green River trips!
This hotel needs some work. A fresh coat of paint for starters. The pipe to my shower head was very loose in the wall.
Breakfast was supposed to be 7-9am. We checked at 7:15 and the room was dark with the chair still upside down. No one in sight to get breakfast going. We just left and stopped later on the road for breakfast. Very disappointing.
It was a place to sleep When the ice machine wasn't working, they brought ice from the store They were kind and apologetic At first glance the room looked clean and neat, had been painted Furniture was old and neglected All the appliances were unplugged....had to plug in anything we wished to use. There were moths in the room The air conditioner was very loud The "make-over" was not very well done Though it was mostly clean, it appeared as though the carpet had not been swept The place we were in the previous night was less expensive and twice as nice.
Not much The room was terible, not well maintained
Toilet did not work and they would not change rooms despite that there were many vacant. Telephone in room not working, they did nothing. Breakfast was poor and most things were run out. Did not get restocked until most people had left. No landscaping in place very uninviting.
Price was good. Rooms were decent and clean. Breakfast was a pass. My room was directly across from the laundry which make things noisy. Bring your own towels, theirs are the hardest/scratchiest I have used
Correct breakfast. Value for money. Shitty town. Sorry Green River Stranger odor in room upon arrival.
Nothing On-line registration specifies a no-cancellation policy, which is unique to any other hotels I've stayed in. You're willing to "price gouge" me for $8 for cancellation insurance, which I elected. My stay was in connection with a cross-country, multiple day motorcycle trip. On the morning of my reservation, I started in Colorado Springs with discovery of a flat tire on my motorcycle. With every intention of staying in Green River, I ultimately spent more than half the day trying to find a place that was open, had the replacement inner tube, and could change the tube on a Sunday of Labor Day weekend--a near impossible task. As the day wore on and I started getting concerned about making it to Green River, I tried to call and cancel my reservation. I was unable to connect with the numbers provided. I called my wife and asked her to cancel for me while I continued riding. She was initially told by the hotel she had to call the insurance company, who told her she needed the itinerary number. Your data base can't find me just by customer name? On my next stop, I provided her the itinerary number but she was unable to connect. On my next stop I was able to get ahold of the Customer Service number, who informed me it was too late to cancel. She first said the cancellation deadline was noon that day, then later said it was noon the previous day. She then said I didn't have insurance. Feeling pressured to not lose my money, I pressed on after dark and over 12 hours into my day. After riding another 2 hours after dark, I decided my safety was more important than the unreasonable policy Super 8 has, and the difficulty communicating with you, I stopped short and spent the night. The whole experience was unaccommodating, unimpressive, and frustrating. Unforeseen events beyond people's control happen, but you have no concern for that. You have my money and that's all that matters--to you.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Movable shower head. Free breakfast. There was free breakfast the eggs weren't that great but that's about it for the bad.
Included breakfast! Comfortable bead and clean room. Nothing.
Staff was nice. Air Conditioner knob was broke and laying on the window sill and the filter hadn't been replaced in a very long time. It blew out dirt when we got it going. Black hair all over both beds and all over the bathroom floor. One towel was very dirty and had been folded to use. Mirror over sink was very dirty. The dumpster located outside our window was a pig sty overflowing with garbage. We will not stay again and will not recommend to anyone.
Clean and with an especially helpfull staff. Small amenities like cold water in the lobby and really good coffee were very welcome. Room was nicely appointed and functionally arranged. My husband enjoyed the recliner.
Nothing. It was all bad. Since I ran out of room below, I'll finish here. They gave me a room key, to a used room. I came back to tell her that, and she didn't seem to care. Gave me a new room at least. Morning staff was just as rude. Terrible experience. Everything. When I got there, no one was at the desk. I waited 5 minutes, then called the hotel phone to see if someone would answer. No luck. Another 5 minutes later, a woman walks from downstairs and asks, 'what do you want?' in an aggressive manner.
Within walking distance to John Wesley Powell museum. Everything okay for us--no complaints.

Good location for Moab Arches. Good price and generally excellent experience no
nothing much got bitten, don't know it is the bugs or mosquitoes; no refrigerator; no breakfast; slow wifi; nothing much to eat in the neighborhood.....
none couldnt connect to the internet, all of the rooms on the second floor were open? kind of odd. anyone could walk in and upstairs and have somewhere to sleep.
Cheap place to stay. You get what you pay for. The place was loud and dirty and smelled bad, but none of it was too bad for how much we didn't have to pay.
Uncleanliness, ambiance, bed was horrible, shower tab was not proper, bed sheets, comforter were not cleaned. The room had a weird smell.
The WiFi functioned There was a 'stink' to the room
Mike was great. He was helpful at check-in and gave directions for dinner. The television remote was not very good - it probably needed new batteries.
Very big room (too much for me!) ;)
Convenience. Good WiFi. No in room coffee. Very old TV. Heater controls hard to see
Quiet, clean, convenient, next to river. Good restaurant next door, and staff made hot breakfast to order. (4-5 Choices) Stayed in second floor, be aware of no elevator.
The grounds are verry nice, the river flows through, the pool is refrreshing. With a restaurant right next door it keeps one from having to drive. The beds are comfy. A hole in the screen but stuffed it with something and no mosquitoess got in.
Service & selection @ breakfast was excellent Little noisy, specially early morning cleaning crew
Nice rooms with great breakfast! Wifi was not working.
The bed and sheets were higher end and extremely comfortable. The room was super quiet and nice and cool when outside temptations neared 100. Furnishing was from 80's, (I wouldn't sit on) carpet in room was embossed so high traffic areas were worn smooth. SeenSeinfeld's Soup Nazi episode? Wanna experience it? See Carlos in the kitchen. He yells, he belittles and you need to order exactly as he says! People ate in silence. My hubby says 'No soup for you' to the next table & everyone lol and agreed!
Beautiful on the water. Great quiet area. Great breakfast
Clean, quite, great location and unique property. Room is outdated and the even though they really promote 'pillow top' beds, they probably haven't been comfortable for a couple years now. Whats left is a lumpy mess that was really uncomfortable.

it was a great place near the river the bed was room was very comfortable breakfast tasty best value for the money
Large room; 2 sinks/vanities; comfortable bed Grumpy staff, particularly in breakfast room; musty cigarette (?) smell in room; urine smell in bathroom; furnishings resembled an assisted living facility.
made to order breakfast outdoor pool only
The only negative was that the outdoor pool had not been skimmed that afternoon and it had some debris floating in it.
The room was quite large, and reasonably clean. This was the only good thing about this. Two out of three buildings at motel were clearly abandoned and in a dilapidated state. In fact the one building in use wasn't street visible. There wasn't a restaurant as claimed. Parking area was decayed. Office and room lobbies dingy and worn. Felt like a horror film set. Kept my deer rifle loaded and in the bed with me.
Price was low. Bedding and bathroom were clean We found few bugs in the bathroom. The view from the window to the parking where just few wracks stood in the tme of our arrival was a bit scary. Room facilities (e.g. carpet) were out of date
