Pros: I loved everything about this place. The staff was very very nice and friendly. They were also very helpful with activities going on for the day in Williamsburg. They have a discount available for dockets which is also nice. Plus they have free parking just around the corner which was very nice. I loved this place. Anytime we go to Williamsburg from now on we'll stay here.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like as much was their late arrival policy. They tape an envelope to the door with everything you need (room key, front door key, parking pass, directions for parking, room number and name) in it. I don't think that's very safe anyone could walk by and grab it. We were spending the day at Busch Gardens (about 10 minutes from the Bed & Breakfast) and we're just going to check in after but when I found out about the policy we left the park to drop off out luggage and check in.
At The Fife And Drum Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Governor's Palace. Free perks include continental breakfast, self parking, and wired Internet. Also, this bed & breakfast is within a short drive of Water Country USA.
Pros: We were only getting away for a single night and chose Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony based on the ratings. Could not have been happier! We are already planning a return trip with the entire family.
Pros: Everything was fantastic. Our late checkin was super fast and easy, which was much appreciated since we were tired. Unfortunately we did not get to use the club facilities (pool, gym, etc.) but they looked excellent and very inviting! Hopefully we will get to stay again and use them!
Cons: Not enough vending machines, food services are a little trouble to get to from room.
Pros: We pick this resort first when traveling to Williamsburg. It is in a beautiful location, they keep it looking new and clean, and everyone is so kind and polite!

Pros: Very easy to find and convenient to the visitors center and we walked to our dinner location
Cons: Too much chlorine in the pool area
Pros: The service and decoration was nice
Cons: Breakfast was terrible.
Pros: The location was great with lots of outside lighting in the parking lot. Safe location with lots to do close by. The hottub and pool was very clean and relaxing after a long day of shopping. I will definitely use Comfort Syites Bypass again.
Pros: We could hear kids running back and forth in the room above us. Hard to sleep.

Cons: I didn't like having to hear a short pitch from a time share sales representative just to receive my parking pass. It was only a short discussion because I refused to make an appointment to hear the full sales pitch but it was awkward and uncomfortable.
Pros: It was an apartment. Great for families.
Cons: No indoor pool.
Pros: The room was great
Cons: The check in process took about 45min do to only one person at the check in desk and the other person you had to speak with trying to get you to go to the timeshare presentation
Pros: Great location, spacious rooms, double headed shower, blu-ray dvd player and Netflix account accessible, washer and dryer provided in room, full kitchen. Basically a small one room condo style experience. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Outdoor pool could be bigger, however they are expanding the property with an additional pool, they are building tennis courts, basket ball courts and a bowling alley.
Welcome to the perfect Vacation Resort for families in Williamsburg! Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort is only eight miles from Colonial Williamsburg the largest living history district of its kind in the country. In period costumes
Pros: Overall facilities and rooms were clean and well kept. Food and activity options were plentiful and the location (and the resort's free shuttle service) makes all the area attractions easy to get to.
Cons: We requested a room on the bottom floor prior to arrival. I received an email through Kayak from Kingsmill confirming we had a room on bottom floor. Upon arrival they did not have bottom room or anything in their system that we requested one. They were not accommodating and did not offer anything to make up for it. Some staff not attentive.
Pros: The overall setting of the resort is beautifully surrounded by the river and green, the low rise housing helped preserve the scenery from every angle. We stayed there during the Thanksgiving weekend with our grade schooler sharing a king size bed comfortably on the first floor. The room is sized a typical hotel room with a patio facing a pond, which I enjoyed the most. The closet was unusually larger, you can fit 2 suitcases in there. The amenity is normal, that's why I did not rate it 'luxurious' but it's clean and sufficient with body wash, shampoo and conditioning;, the interior design of the bathroom is on the high end than other typical Hilton or Marriott, but is sized smaller than I would have liked. Each room has a Kerug with 6 pods and they fill it up everyday. No problem getting on wifi. The shuttle service is excellent - we used it exclusively to travel between Busch Garden and the resort - the shuttle also take you directly to your building if requested, they really eager to take around the resort. indoor pool is smaller than I would have liked but there were 20+ kids there so it felt crowded. But the changing area is on the high end side, very clean, plenty of towel supply, whirlpool, steam room, sauna included. Every staff we encounter are very friendly. Buffet breakfast in Element 1010 and lunch at Eagle restaurant, both of which were good experiences. Everything worked out really well. It is priced a bit higher than others in the area but i feel that I get what I paid for, it's worth the value. We definitely will go back in the summer and possibly in Nov/December again.
Cons: Can't really pick any Cons - I guess I would have liked a bigger indoor pool so the kids are not jammed together.
Pros: The landscaping and setting are truly one of a kind. The staff is all very friendly, from the house-cleaners to the concierge service. The on site restaurants, especially the one at the marina, are top shelf. Truly some of the best food we have ever eaten.
Cons: It is pricey. The cost for a single night stay was double that of staying at another location not much further away. I am not sure if the amenities warrant the cost.

Pros: Lovely smart design of suite was efficient. Breakfast was good & all staff were friendly & efficient. Appreciated genuine feeling of interest
Cons: Shower curtain not effective, allowing soaking of floor with everyone who attempted a shower. A bit dangerous there
Pros: Beds comfortable. Lots of room. Real HD tv. Room Very clean (except for smell )
Cons: No shower curtain. Room temperature hard to control. Room smells like stale cigarette smoke. Coffee products in room lacking.
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: The food was plain and undesirable.
I stayed in room 301 which was by the stairs. The door kept banging all night long waking me up.

Pros: Great budget hotel situated perfectly in the Williamsburg area. Extremely close to tourist hotspots, food, and shopping.
Cons: Because of the low price, there are very few amenities.
Pros: The Staff
Cons: The water pressure
Pros: Breakfast was nice and the bed was comfortable. Internet was good too.
Cons: I think my boyfriend and I caught something from the room. When we returned from our trip we BOTH came down with a cold. Not sure where else we could've gotten it from. Also the lock for our room was messed up. We had to yank it and then push to get it to open.
Pros: The staff was great - very welcoming and friendly!
The location was perfect for visiting Colonial Williamsburg.
Adequate breakfast well attended to by staff.
Pros: The staff bent over backwards to meet our everybody need. They provided us breakfast after the breakfast hours had ended, allowed us to check out late to meet our schedule, and were extremely friendly overall. For the price this hire can't be beat!
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Comfortable. Nice breakfast. Pleasant staff good location
Pros: Had to make an emergency trip due to family illness. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us including having to extend our stay at the last minute. All the staff were helpful and always had a smile to share. Although they apologized for ongoing renovations there were no issues other than an occasional sign apologizing for any inconvenience,
Pros: The location was very good. It was close to downtown and yet far enough way that it was quite.
Cons: There were ants in the rooms. When we first checked in I asked to be moved to another room due to the ants in the bathroom and also in the bed area. After moving to another floor, the same problem existed. I did not like going into the bathroom and finding ants in the sink, the bathtub and all over the floor.
Pros: The location was great. The lobby was bright and clean. The people behind the desk were very friendly and helped us pick some places to eat. We loved the warm cookies! The pool was awesome. My husband and son enjoyed that one night after Busch Gardens. Its really great that its open till midnight. The room was very large, very clean. The bathroom was perfect. The towels were plentiful and so thirsty. I love that in a towel!! Breakfast is free and very good. Great variety of things to eat and drink. Its wonderful for families with small kids. Saves money too, as any meal with multiple people can be expensive. Loved our stay and would stay again.
Cons: Beds were a little soft. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle. I just had hip surgery so it was a little tough getting out for me. Thats about it in the complaint dept.
Pros: Overall the hotel was not bad but the bed was uncomfortable and the breakfast was marginal.
Cons: The staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby is pleasant and inviting giving a homey feel
Pros: Excellent room & Staff
Pros: The evening person was helpful in changing out our room
Cons: The first room smelled of mold or mildew The 2nd room was better..

Regarded among the world's great hotels, the Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg, Virginia, is the crown jewel of Colonial Williamsburg hotels. As directed by Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller Jr. the Williamsburg Inn hotel is decorated in an elegant Regency style. The Inn offers 62 guestrooms and suites in the main building. The Inn has hosted a wealth of heads-of-state yet pampers each and every guest with similar royal treatment. For many, it is a destination in itself. Gourmet dining, outdoor pools, clay tennis courts, award-winning golf, and a fitness club complete with spa services create a memorable resort experience. Golf enthusiasts are particularly awe-inspired with the adjoining Golden Horseshoe Golf Club featuring 45-holes of championship golf by legendary designers Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Rees Jones. Of more than 17,000 golf courses in America, only eight hold both GOLF Magazines Gold Medal and 5 Stars for Places to Play by Golf Digest and the Golden Horseshoe is a proud recipient of both much to a golfers delight. After a day on the courses, visiting Colonial Williamsburgs world-renowned Historic Area, shopping or more the award-winning talented culinary staff provides innovative American dining at the Rockefeller Room, Restoration Bar and Terrace Room. The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg is conveniently located on the grounds of the Inn providing guests easy access to what promises to be a unique spa experience. Historic Restoration Prepares Inn for New EraThe careful restoration of the Inn encompassed every aspect of its interior - the original furniture designed specially for this famous hotel has been refinished and reupholstered, chandeliers brilliantly refurbished, a new tearoom and bar lounge have been incorporated into the first floor, along with modest alterations to the Regency Room. Guestrooms have been significantly enlarged to include elaborate all-marble baths. The famous facade of the Williamsburg Inn hotel has not changed as inside the restorations span three centuries of style: 19th-century Regency decor, the 20th-century heritage of the original building, and 21st-century amenities. It surely reflects what Rockefeller envisioned: a historic country inn with the most modern, gracious appointments.
Cons: Your booking agent did not listen to what I asked for and told me this hotel was 10 miles from the city I requested. I booked it and had no cancellation ability due to the hour. It was well over a hundred miles due east of where I needed to be and resulted in me driving an additional 5+ hours getting to it and back the next morning to where I needed to be, an entire tank of fuel and numerous reschedules diue to her negligance., I expect compensation of some kind as this was a MASSIVE inconnenience.
Pros: Quiet and clean.
Cons: Room was not ready for 3:00 check-in. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not clear steam in bathroom despite staff saying it was working and was a "silent system".
Cons: No hot water, no shampoo or toiletries, shower door in disrepair
Pros: Nice and clean. Nice choices for breakfast.

Pros: I like the ability to be staying at one location that allowed the family to do things within that location. This was a plus because when the children got board, we could go to the game room, swimming pool, mini golf course. The space in the rooms were excellent as well. Separate rooms and bathrooms accommodated the large family with ease.
Cons: Just the hallway needed to be cleaned. Some old bed clothes were left there for a day but they were cleaned and then there were some trash that was left behind. Other than that, it was great.
Pros: Overall experience was good.
Cons: I stayed in a lower floor unit and you could hear every movement of the people in the unit above us. This is not the first time I have had this issue at a Wyndham resort. Need to find a way to improve on this.
Pros: I needed to relax , write and also have the comforts of home, particularly the kitchen.
It was nice and quiet. I wish I could have stayed longer, two days wasn't enough time. It was my second time at the property in as many months. Nice escape if you can afford it.
I'm saving to go again.
Cons: The full length mirror in my apartment was horrible. It was the type that belongs in a carnival fun house. I was very surprised at the lack of attention to THAT one detail and avoided the hall it was in.
Pros: Beautiful facility, lots of things for the kids to do. Very clean, spacious modern 2 bedroom unit.
Cons: None, we loved the place.

Pros: Very spacious rooms, incredibly friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants (we recommend Food for Thought) and the outlets
Cons: Gym doesn't have free weights but the cardio equipment is nice
Pros: The price of the room was good for the size of it
Cons: I didn't like that when you first walked in all you smelled was chlorine and the bathrooms didn't have an exhaust fan.
Pros: Decor, Light Fixtures and Bedding was modern - clean lines. I liked two tvs, liked the handicap chair for pool, fresh healthy food choices for breakfast, helpful staff, liked location across the street from Food for Thought (will come again for that feature and bring my elderly mother)
Cons: would have liked additional suitcase stand (only one provided). Prefer larger pool for lap swimming. change room at pool, & plastic bag to put your bathing suit
Cons: only working ice machine was on the ground floor

Cons: I really can't come up with any complaint or frustration
Pros: Nice hotel, clean !
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, pool, what else could you ask for? Very pleasant stay, my family and I will return when we revisit Williamsburg!
Pros: Great accommodations and friendly staff. Super convenient to restaurants and shopping.
Pros: Convenience. Ckean. Breakfast good.
Pros: The room refrigerator and microwave ended up being quite convenient. We were particularly GLAD that given the other issues, that we didn't see any roaches or other bugs.
Cons: *Room didn't smell fresh, in fact, it smelled musky, with a damp, slight
* Maids did not clean our room, which was disappointing, especially
since they looked directly at us when we left, which was BEFORE
12:00PM. (Staff made excuses for possible reasons why.)
* Although we booked and prepaid online, the front desk manager took a swipe of our credit card for possible "incidental charges" when we checked in. Upon checkout we had NO additional charges but were denied a receipt of proof, when we asked for a cleared account statement.
* The sheets DID NOT seem to be really fresh!
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Hotel is close to everything!
Pros: Locations was great and check-in was easy. Great continental breakfast.
Cons: Front desk assistant we semi-rude when our cards would not open the room door following dinner.
Pros: The room was great! Comfortable bed, spacious room, and very clean. The location is perfect for enjoying the local attractions.
Cons: Our room came with a jacuzzi tub. I take showers and this tub was a trick to get in and out of.
Pros: The hotel was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and room was elegant. Breakfast was a great add.
Pros: The breakfast selection was amazing!!
Cons: The bed/pillows were uncomfortable. Husband and I both woke a few times throughout the night and woke up hurting in the morning.
Pros: Comfortable bed and pillows
Cons: My stay was not long enough!

Pros: The location was close to Busch Gardens and the pool was great.
Cons: The sink was clogged up and when they unclogged it it made the room smell terrible! The housekeeping was a bit lacking as well. The room didn't get cleaned till close to 3 p.m. and the sheets weren't even changed! Not to mention the king size bed looked like it had queen size sheets and comforter on it. We left two days earlier than planned. The staff appeared a bit snobby as well. I will never stay in this hotel again. I would prefer to sleep in a tent!
Pros: Free breakfast was convenient and met our needs.
Cons: Most of the staff had limited English skills.
Pros: Nicely appointed and spacious room. Free coffee at all times in the lobby. Friendly staff.
Cons: The lobby area is decent, but not impressive. That's my only negative. Everything else was spot on.
Pros: Friendly, helpfuf
Cons: I got a gift but the manger failed to deliver it for 3 days,

Pros: We had an excellent time at Great Wolf. Lots of activities, awesome amenities and the food was excellent.
Pros: Everything was great. The lodge has a ton of activities that are free and other, more exciting activies for an extra fee (ropes course, bowling, etc.). There is always something to do besides the waterpark.
Cons: Do expect to spend a lot more money because you will get nickled and dimed.
Pros: I loved everything, from the water park to the bed and all the great activities they hosted!
Cons: The checkout was too early for check in to be so late.
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly. My daughter loves going here. All kids look as if they are having a blast.
Cons: I feel it was very expensive, even with the water park. The restaurants & all stores were very expensive. Every hotel in Williamsburg offers free breakfast but this place. The water park closes way too early at 8P.
Pros: Water park which is small. The wave pool is ok. Food expensive. They will rip you off every way they can.
Pros: I enjoy indoor waterparks, and thought this would be a nice stop-over after a long road trip home.
Cons: One of the four tube rides was closed for the evening, which was a let-down. This park is also smaller than some of their other parks, so I don't see how anyone could spend large amounts of time here. The beds were also quite stiff and uncomfortable, although the pillows were nice. We also arrived to the waterpark at 7PM but still had to pay the full $10 locker rental price (since they require shoes to be worn to the park - we were forced to leave our shoes somewhere). Great Wolf definitely knows how to nickle and dime people. We have no kids and I seriously don't know how a family with children can afford to stay here!
Pros: The atmosphere
Cons: The internet connection was horrible
Pros: the water park is great.
Cons: the food was overpriced and there was surprisingly little there that my picky eaters would eat (in the restaurant)- no burgers, no hot dogs. all amusements other than the waterpark were excessively overpriced.

Pros: I was able to really enjoy the spa tub! The way it was angled you could also relax and watch TV
Cons: There was only decaf coffee in my room
Pros: Staff was fantastic, this was the highpoint of the stay
Lounge area was very comfortable.
Cons: The mattresses were very, very uncomfortable. Stayed in a 'lower tier' hotel the previous two nights and the mattresses were far superior.
Limited hours for Starbucks .. wondering why it was even there. Limited breakfast offerings ... liked the old style courtyard breakfast restaurant much better.
Pros: The staff was really friendly, rooms were clean and a good sizes
Pros: The hotel was very nice on the outside as well as the inside. The staff was very professional, nice and accomadating.
Cons: The smell in our room was really bad. The room was cleaned thoroughly but it still had an unpleasant odor that we could not quite identify. However, upon informing the front desk, not only did they move us to another room while we we out for the day, but they also moved every single one of our things into our new room with not such much of a hair missing. Thank you!
Pros: Excellent location. Terrific professional staff. Clean, safe and quite comfortable. Would stay there again and highly recommend.
Cons: Minor thing - parking is limited and only one way in and out.

Pros: Had a wonderful experience! My friend and I came up to enjoy Busch gardens. The staff was over the top. They accidentally gave us a key to a room that wasn't cleaned yet. They were very upset with the situation and gave both of us a free dine-in breakfast at the Harvest Grille. The new room was very cushy and comfortable. Other than the hallways being a little bit stuffy, I have virtually no complaints!
Cons: Hallway just a little stuffy. Needs some sort of recirculated air
Pros: Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The Rat Pack called and they want their Hotel back. This hotel is old and out dated, too many additional charges for amenities that are complimentary at other hotels. Rear security door was broken and one elevator at the rear of the hotel for both guest and staff. Terrible lighting at night. Pack a lunch and water for the walk to the lobby from the rear of the hotel.
Pros: Hotel was much nicer than similarly priced 3 star hotels in this area. Bed and shower were top notch and the place was modern.
Cons: This isn't walkable to anything.

Pros: The hotel must have been recently renovated with bold colors. There were plenty of choices for breakfast including hot and cold items. The shower was great. Definitely book online the price is much better than if you call. Great proximity to Colonial Williamsburg.
Cons: The beds are very soft. I typically like a soft bed but these were almost too soft. My mother in law who has mobility issues had a hard time moving on the matress.
Pros: Proximity to Colonial Williamsburg. Spacious room. Good breakfast.

Cons: There was a connecting door to the room next to us and the people in that room had their tv up loud but you could hear every word they said almost as if they were in our room. We had to move to another room due to the noise because we couldn't sleep. The eggs were terrible really only a $50 a night hotel
Pros: Nice building, good price, nice pool, good free breakfast each morning. It was a nice place to stay, convenient location to all historic triangle attractions at a good price.. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The room had a slight musty smell when you first entered and the maid totally skipped our room for no reason one day during our stay.
Pros: Beds and pillows wonderfully comfortable - great value for money
Cons: Breakfast was not very nutritious; convenience foods. Disturbed by the amount of plastic plates, cutlery and throw away - not very environmentally conscious.
