Location. Lakeview room was a dark, no frills at all room with a small heavily covered window and a small, also heavily covered door. Bathroom floor was dirty in both rooms we had.

I stay for Thanksgiving weekend with my 4 daughter. We really love this hotel, location is perfect, amazing view, perfect location, room was very clean, pretty good breakfast. Definitely I recommend this hotel. Everything was good
Location Location Location!!! This was perfect for our trip. We had plans to an event at the camp grounds/music hall which was just a walk away. My husband and I really enjoyed that fact. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable!!
Lake view was beautiful Breakfast was a little disappointing
Great location, close to marina, beach, and restaurant. Room with Lake view highly recommended. Rooms a bit small.
location lots of noise where our room was
The Staff is very friendly. The Lobby living room and porch are great. Round the clock coffee. Rooms looked recently remodeled but there were some picture hangers on the wall with no pictures. It was expensive for the type of Hotel but they were full. The Elevator was not functioning and there was a reunion of Elders in the Hotel. Helped several people with their luggage. Tile floor in room bathroom needed repair. It was alright.
Clean bed sheets and room Not all rooms have lake view.
Nice location on the lake with a good view, and very quiet Room could be updated with new carpet and furnishings, and hook ups for charging cell phones, Ipads, etc.
The Hotel is Beautiful, we Really Loved Our room and Location of it close to the Lobby, The Bed was Very Comfortable with plenty of Pillows, The Room was Big and so was the Bathroom, we also Liked the Private Door with a Patio we wished there were more choices for breakfast, That's It
The lake view and rooms had balconies It was a 2016 price with 1990s decor and smell. Bathroom was very dark. Had to pay extra money for a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was just ok.
Friendly, clean, curteous, comfortable.
Great value for a hotel of this caliber (almost 3 stars!) Great staff, breakfast,& location to Lake Chatuge. Offered ample privacy & noise isolation from other guest. Bed a little too firm (could use a mattress topper)
Had nice experience, hotel reception staff were very polite
The place needs updating.
Great free breakfast!
This is the way a hotel/motel should be run...
Breakfast was great. Hospitality was outstanding. Very clean Beds were miserable
Awesome room, very clean, the BEST hotel breakfast we've ever had and the nicest hostess hands down!!! Nothing! Just sad that we had to leave.
Clean and well-kept A little dated.
Surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature Housekeepers could've done a better job cleaning out the room from the previous guest who stayed. (Used shampoo bottle in the bathroom tub for example )
Favorite place to stay when visiting my daughter at Young Harris College No
Well placed bethween Atlanta and the killer rides of the Smokies and Applachians. It's been a bit banged up, but clean and nice. Seemed a bit expensive for the location and the age/condition. Breakfast was served in polystyrene, that's BAD.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and comfortable, and it's a great place to stay. Mine had a fridge. You can walk to the Huddle House to get food, it's always good but you're not going to escape for under $9/person for food. You can walk or drive to most of the places to eat, and for a town this size there are a fair amount of options. The Mexican restaurant is one of the better ones I've been to, and it's super cheap. And there's the usual fast food options of McD's and Hardee's, plus at least three other restaurants including a place that makes its own beer. Wi-Fi is very flakey. Speed: 3.5-7MBps at most, but it often cut out altogether and I had to switch to one of their other WiFi networks or use my phone. While the hotel's really well run, the Wi-Fi needs to be sorted. Unfortunately I don't think that is in the control of the hotel, it's Frontier Internet that is the problem.
