When we arrived to collect our booked car, I was told the booking had been cancelled & there was no car available. No communication to tell me the booking had been cancelled. The staff member was very unhelpful just saying that it wasn’t her problem because we booked through a 3rd party (Kayak). Luckily a super friendly person at another rental car company was able to help us out with a car. It did cost us $100 in taxis to get around between the airport, Hertz, then the new rental car company! All this because the car rental cancellation had not been communicated to me! Very frustrating. NEVER USING HERTZ OR KAYAK EVER AGAIN!!!Reviewed Mar 29 2024
