Customer service at the counter was friendly and fast, however the return instructions were unclear. No one came down to check out the car with us, and the garage was dark - we didn’t realize until the 2nd day that there were cracks in the windshield and the driver’s seat didn’t adjust. Awful. Reservation not actually reserved. Had to wait in a line for 1.5 hours while **1** agent slowly dealt with a huge queue of people. Delay made me late for photo shoot i was directing. Hertz= never again.Reviewed Jun 1 2023

Even after I reconfirmed the booking a few hours earlier, they did not have any vehicle available when I went there. More over the counter staff reiterated several times that vans were never in their inventory and that was an error in the system. They did not even have a regular minivan to compensate for the booking. My whole week trip was jeopardized because of this.Reviewed Jun 1 2023

The worst. I took a $30 Uber to pick up the car only to find the location was closed. Then took a $40 Uber to the airport to another location that was suggested on the sign at the first location and they wouldn’t honor the reservation and quoted me a much higher rate. Walked across the hall to budget who promptly got me in a car that was cheaper and upgraded me for free. Hertz may want to learn a thing or two from the experience and my loss of money from Uber rides because of their issues.Reviewed Jun 1 2023
