Pros:Drop off at San Francisco international was very easy.Cons:I would have liked an e acknowledgement of the car received in good state. No easy way to pay license plate scanner tolls. Asked for 4WD/AWD SUV and didn't get itPros:Clean car, fuel efficient. Person working desk was nice.Cons:Didn't get the performance we needed for snow conditions. Did Get My Prepaid CarCons:I arrived to pick up my car at noon and was told they didn't have any. I prepaid by the way. By 6:30 that night, I had still not received ANY information about getting a car and NEVER received a call back from anyone at Hertz. I called multiple times trying to get updates. One agent in the Salt Lake City downtown facility "PROMISED" to call me in 15 minutes. He did not. I called him about 15 minutes past the deadline and received a recording that the office was closed for the day. Now I have to go through the process to get a refund. I will never rent through them again, and have told all my friends this horror story!Reviewed Sep 18 2018

Pros:The car was fineCons:I was booking a car rental at SLC airport. When i went to pick up my car (on a tight schedule) i was informed that my car was at a different location 20 minutes away. Then i had to pay for an Uber to get to the location since there was no shuttle. The Hertz rep at the airport told me that i could change the return location and bring the car back to the airport for a $5 fee. When i went to do that, they charged me $30 extra. My $40 decently priced car rental, wound up costing me $100 and cost me an extra hour and half in waiting. Total nightmare as i had something very important i was scheduled to attend. Was an hour late. I will never book a car rental again through a third party site.Reviewed Sep 18 2018

Sold out in Salt LakePros:The gentleman working the location was very polite.Cons:Apparently the whole city was overbooked. I had to wait 4 hours to get a car. I VB ended up having to take a compact instead of the full size for which I had paid.Reviewed Jun 17 2017

Pros:NothingCons:We could not find where to return car. We called the address during business hours and it went right to voicemail. We had to ask a valet and they directed us down 4 levels of a parking garage. Again, once there no indication of where to leave car. We parked it, took elevator to Marriott lobby and found the hertz office, closed and locked at 930 in the morning. We left keys in a lock box and still have no idea if the car was ever found. I better not see any extra charges on my bill as the car was back on time. All in all, a total nightmare and 3 hours of my time plus a $6 charge to park my friends car so he could help me find hertz in Salt Lake CityReviewed May 3 2017
