Pros: I have nothing good to say, this was a terrible experience.
Cons: A car rental company exists for the sole purpose of renting cars. Hertz exhibited overwhelming incompetence by accepting my reservation and providing me with a confirmation number, only to inform me that there were no cars available when I arrived for pickup. They are much better at taking reservations than they are at holding reservations and backing them with real live cars. They didn't bother to notify me that they had no cars so I could make alternate plans. I had to take my wife and older parents on a 1+ hour train ride to another car rental company to get a car.

Even though car was reserved, no car was available
Cons: I reserved a car over a week out. When we showed up at the counter, they said no car was available period. When a car was available the next day that was not a subcompact, they made us pay for an upgrade.

Cons: I reserved the car for SLC but it wasn't there! It was in downtown Salt Lake. Bad! Sad!

Cons: worst experience with a car company. They could not provide a car and after calling customer service 3 times I had to go with another car company at the last minute. I could go online and book a car but they would not provide me a car with my reservation

Cons: Car was ok, but somehow the reservation needed me to pick up the car at a DT location and the Hertz counter girl wouldn't budge without doubling the price.

Cons: We could not find where to return car. We called the address during business hours and it went right to voicemail. We had to ask a valet and they directed us down 4 levels of a parking garage. Again, once there no indication of where to leave car. We parked it, took elevator to Marriott lobby and found the hertz office, closed and locked at 930 in the morning. We left keys in a lock box and still have no idea if the car was ever found. I better not see any extra charges on my bill as the car was back on time. All in all, a total nightmare and 3 hours of my time plus a $6 charge to park my friends car so he could help me find hertz in Salt Lake City

Pros: The gentleman working the location was very polite.
Cons: Apparently the whole city was overbooked. I had to wait 4 hours to get a car. I VB ended up having to take a compact instead of the full size for which I had paid.
Pros: Service was great and they gave me a nice upgrade at no extra cost. Always happy with enterprise.

Cons: Car didn't have windshield fluid and I had to drive in dangerous conditions. Was not even reimbursed for the cost of the fluid

Pros: The staff were fantastic to work with. They picked us up from the train station and when it was time to return they dropped us back at the train station, which made it very easy to get back to the airport. The Chevy Cruze was a great little car. It was EXTREMELY fuel efficient and comfortable to drive. Overall experience was great!
Cons: Our flight arrived at 1:15AM and Firefly's hours were until 2:00 AM. They decided to close early and left many families stranded at the airport. We ended up using Budget and paying more because we did not have a reservation. When we called Firefly, the number did not lead to the SLC location and the person kept telling us on the phone that they should be there and that they were on a break. We waited more than 10 minutes. Budget told us they left for the day/eve. Bad service. Don't use them unless you're sure they will be open.
