Pros: Great staff, easy pick up and drop off, the truck was brand new and very comfortable and at a great price!
Cons: There was some broken glass in the back of the cab. Looked like the rear window broke before we rented it and it wasn't all cleaned up.

Pros: I wasn’t given the type of car that I had reserved. The staff was very unorganized and I was forced to take a vehicle that I did not want.

Best price and great customer service
Pros: Rented here because they offered the best price but was pleasantly surprised to find each of the employees seemed to grasp how important, and rare, great customer service is!
Hertz did not honor my reservation
Pros: Nothing. I showed up to get my car. The clerk said “sorry, we had a rush on cars today and remted them all.”

Cons: Did not have car or similar that we needed. Only 1 car was avail for rental on lot . Did not honor the price we were given from place we reserved thru, Car Rentals.com. No one there really knew what they were doing. Very disappointed in whole process.

Pros: Car drove well. Local staff were nice.
Cons: Car given away 2 ours after my "after 12" reservation. When they got me a car it was smoked in, burn in seat, dirty interior, large dent in back, chipped windshield. Was offered another car for more money! Had to travel so we took the car. When talking to Hertz national they found me a car at another location but would not honor price. Put on hold and cut off several times. The people at national had sarcastic and bad attitude. The local people were very nice. The office in San Marcos was dirty, old furniture not nice. Will never use Hertz again.
