Pros: Car was clean, good gas mileage
Cons: Informing me of large $200 deposit and staff was kinda rude with the Lysol.

Cons: Didn't have the car I reserved available because they overbooked and a "glitch" in their system (bull). Was forced to pay extra for an "upgrade" to rent, unless I wanted to "wait around" for when a car would show up. What's the point of reservations then!?

Poor Customer Service
Cons: After driving an hour to get to the car rental outlet, when I arrived to pick up my economy car, they told me that they had no cars and suggested that I drive to Auburn, about another 45 minutes away. I was stunned as I only made work appointments in SF for the next day based on having a rental car. They did not call the Auburn outlet to see if they had cars. Eventually they gave me a van but they charged me an extra $12 - $14 / day for the van. I called Hertz about this and they said I needed to talk to the Hertz outlet and they could adjust the billing. The Hertz outlet said they could not/would not adjust it. Additionally the van got about 25 miles to the gallon rather than 35 mi to gallon. When I returned the van and tried to talk to the manager about it I was met with a brick wall. Won't go there again. Very unhappy. I have rented from them 4 or 5 times in the past. Too bad.
Pros: It was quick and easy I was in and fast
