Cons:Returning the car at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv is a nightmare. The Hertz return is not in the same location as the return for all the other agencies. The airport signage for Hertz is completely inadequate. Nav apps (Google maps) takes one to the wrong level. We drove around for 100 minutes (!) and literally could not find where to leave the car. This is a big problem when there is an international flight to catch.

Cons:1000$ dollar deposit for a rental car?? What a joke. These people are scum and they will rip you off.

Cons:A special charge was applied to our second car when we arrived at the airport at 3 in the morning. The manager and employees at the airport desk were unspeakably rude.
Pros:Easy pick up and drop off at airport. The customer service person was nice and explained the insurance options.
Cons:The car was a Cleo. This car's engine stops every time the car comes to a stop at traffic lights and in stop and go traffic, then must re-start to move. This was terrible especially in Israel's hilly terrain . The insurance cost in Israel is outrageous! Credit card insurance policies will not cover rental cars there.
The car was not where I was told it would be so there was some confusion when I went to pick it up. It's expensive. I would have liked to know about the insurance cost PRIOR to getting to the desk. I could have had the paperwork in place. Drop off was easy, thanks.
Cons:Booked a car in month ago for a trip to Tel Aviv. Upon getting there had to fight for a vehicle I booked and then waited another 2 hours to get it . When I finally got it car was all scratched up and smelled pretty bad inside. I ended up buying a car odor neutralizer.
Pros:actual price was triple than what was booked on kayak and staff only tried getting out from you another dollar

Cons:first off they didn't accept my Hertz Gold, then i reserved the car for 2 day and 5 hours which is considered 3 days in the system. i did that so i can get unlimited miles and they wouldn't do that because i arrived a hour after my scheduled appointment.. also the location on kayak mobile app is the wrong address and caused the delay of arrival and additional aggravation.
