Cons:Our car was filled with 100s of bugs. We couldn’t get through to anyone to help exchange cars. Ultimately we had to drive it back to the airport to get a new car. It was horrible and horrible customer service.

Pros:After having a mechanical failure on one of our flights, delaying us 2+ hours, Hertz staff stayed open beyond normal closing hours (after 1:00 a.m.) and were there waiting for us at 2:30 a.m. to deliver us our rental car. When I called from Chicago to say our plane was delayed, they graciously said, "don't worry, we'll stay here until you get here," and they delivered on their promise. The car was immaculate and we picked it up and drove away in 5 minutes or less. Hertz did a tremendous job to make what might have been a horror story into a small inconvenience, and we actually enjoyed driving to our destination without having to fight traffic.
