It was poor this time because I was given a faulty car which they knew about . The battery was flat after I parked the car the first time. . Then I found out there emergency service wasn’t open after 7pm and had to wait till the next day . They started the car in one minute and told me I had to drive to a battery shop . Here they said the battery was fine. Which tells me hertz had had a problem with the car before my rental started . Lost a complete day of my rental . Still waiting two days later for a response to my claim

Great professional service. I love great service. I appreciate Sunday office hours in Lille, mean later opening. But if possible, opening before 12pm could help renters get on their trips sooner and allowing more stops along the way - just a suggetion.

I had changed my reservation April 2nd. Cars were now half the price. They told me my reservation was now confirmed for a mid size car. $448 us. Arrived in Palm Springs, they new nothing of it, regardless of my confirmation. Ended up with the original vehicle. They have now charged me $950 us. I have a complaint in. Never again.

Car was great, but the pick up process, payment and staff handling, it’s the worst I have ever experienced. I will never rent a car from hertz again because of that.

Our car was not available and then they wanted a 500 deposit for debit cards which was NOT on the website nor any information provided before hand. Horrible experience.
