Pros:Car was in good condition, clean, and drop off at Hertz K street branch was easy.
Cons:Our initial agreement had to be changed as a result of a delayed flight. We called Hertz K Street Branch and explained the situation and was told by an employee that they would meet us at the airport with the car. This never happened, so we had to go in to the Hertz Airport branch. The service at that branch was good but we ended up paying more money as a result for the same amount of days, as there's different prices for the different branches and times. Just wish we were told that from our initial phone call and that the employee did meet us at the airport like he stated he would.
Pros:Free upgrade Very efficient staff at pickup and drop off No messing around about insurance cover as commonly encountered in most companies
Cons:Need to pay for second driver, this isn’t reasonable
Pros:The person helping me was lovely and the process quick and easy. I love the ease of renting in Anchorage.
Cons:The prices are so high. I’m not sure Anchorage is different than any other cities in that regard but the cost of rental cars is ridiculous.

Pros:Rate was better than the city average. Thanks for the extension at the same rate. Drop off was quick & easy.
Cons:Airport pick up is a hassle and unfortunately some other offices within the city are closed over the weekend. I wish it was possible to extend the rental beyond 2 months at the same rate. Rates went up dramatically in May/June. KIA brand cars are not fuel efficient, I believe.
Pros:Cost was too high. I didn't get the car I wanted because of the reservation mix-up on Kayak. My card was charged over $800.00 for an estimated cost of just over $400.00.
Cons:Are you kidding me? How could it have been worse?

Cons:Had to take taxi to and from hertz location 5 miles from Ted Stevens airport extra 46 dollars in taxi fare. This hertz location does not work with hertz in the airport. Book rental car with rental car located in airport. That was our mistake and we paid for it
Pros:Car was nice.
Cons:Car was covered in some liquid that was dripped all over the dashboard and side doors. The pickup clerk was not the kindest or most patient person in the world. Was very direct and intense.
