Cons:I would recommend avoiding this rental company in Munich! I met several people in line after checkout that we're also extremely unhappy. We all exchanged contact information in case we need to contact the corporate office to resolve the issues. I told the counter agent that I did not want the additional coverage and even showed him a copy of the coverage I purchased online at the time of booking. I signed the initial contract, but I did not have the correct vehicle when I got to the garage. A member of our staff said I had to go all the way to the counter again instead of helping me at the kiosk there in the garage. I went back to the counter to get the keys switched and the agent had me sign a new contract. Because I am not able to read German, I did not notice that he had added the damage waiver on the new contract he had me sign. When I went all the way back to the garage, the car was dirty inside and out, but I didn't want to go all the way back to the counter again. It also did not have the GPS included as the counter agent had said, so I again had to go to the golden circle kiosk to ask for GPS, which of course was a $100+ fee I had to pay in addition...when I returned the vehicle I noticed my receipt said they charged me an additional 266 euro and the agent in the garage said he didn't know why and that I would need to speak to a counter agent. Of course, he didn't hand me back my packet with the contract and then after waiting over an hour in line, the counter agent told me I needed my original contract and they would not refund the charge. Because I've worked in the rental industry, I know that they have all of this information in their computer and keep a signed copy. After all of this, they handed me an email address where I could complain. Another person I met in line was being charged for damage to the car that was already existing when he rented it - even WITH $700 worth of full coverage damage insurance he purchased through hertz. I will try to get my money refunded when I get back to the states, but right now I am not hopeful.
