Cons:We were flying in to New Orleans Airport, reserved a car through Kayak to pick up there, prepaid to get the best deal. We get to the Hertz counter and find out that Kayak had booked the rental for pickup way on the other side of town! Hertz could not transfer the pickup location because Kayak did the reservation. Hertz was gracious enough to refund the charges without penalty, making up for Kayak's screwup - but it was still twice as expensive to get a car rental right there at the airport. Never again
Pros:The car we got was great. Was expecting a small Toyota Carrolla but got a Mazda mini SUV instead so that was a nice surprise.
Cons:When we got there at 11:30am to pick up the car, the agent told us he had us down at 2pm for a pick up and was instructed to come back. When we came back at 3:30pm a different agent said that we were supposed to pick up the car at noon and asked why we came so late. It turns out they had our reservations on twice. But it was very frustrating having to come back and forth and pay for all those Uber rides, had the first agent check the records directly. Also their demeanor was just not friendly and helpful at all.
Pros:I enjoyed returning the vehicle and knowing I would never return to that particular location again.
Cons:I didn't appreciate how after I explained I was early for a reservation and the gentleman told me that it was fine and that he would take care of it for me. Arriving 50 minutes before my reservation shouldn't be a hassle right? Well, apparently it is because he had me wait downstairs for 45 minutes till it was actually time to rent the vehicle. The car wasn't clean on the inside, the front bumper was partially detached from the car and the rear bumper was so scuffed up like a group of roofers just kicked the hell out of it. When returning the car instead of asking all the required questions like which card I would to close out the transaction on. He waited till I was upstairs on my way down to ask me all the necessary questions. Service was nothing but puréed hot garbage. Never again.

Cons:They didn’t have my car. I called 2 days prior to verify. They assured me it would be there.
Pros:Nothing...There was literally nothing to like.
Cons:We got to the rental center, after taking a taxi from the airport. When we got there we were told that they were out of cars and did not know when they would have more. We were not notified in advance that they were out of vehicles, so after paying a taxi to get us there we then had to call another taxi to take us to a different rental company. Not how you want to begin your vacation.
Cons:It would've been better if they didn't accept the reservation since they knew there were no pickup trucks in inventory. Also, no help with trying to find one.
Cons:The Staff.. they were rude.. I booked a car in advance for Labor Day weekend.. sent me confirmation and charged me.. I get there and what they have to tell me is they don’t have any cars to give.. what a pathetic group.. I was stuck in New Orleans for like 2 days cuz they didn’t have a car and I had to depend on a family member driving from hours away just to come get me at the last minute
Pros:Not much of a line in the airport when picking up the car.
Cons:The live roach in the glove compartment was very off-putting. This isn't Hertz's fault, I don't think, but, the NOLA airport needs better signage for picking up cars when one is coming in from the street, rather than from an airplane.
Pros:The staff were VERY friendly and more than accommodating. Drop off was a breeze!
Cons:Snacks provided in the car? Ahahaha
