9.6 Excellent
Pros: Glen Gordon Manor is a wonderful romantic getaway. The owners are delightful and passionate about the food and lodging. The 3-course breakfast was wonderful - with all made from scratch dishes. The carrot cake with walnuts, fruit parfait with Greek yogurt and homemade granola, and eggs benedict (from eggs direct from the chickens on the property) were all delicious. The manor is warm and cozy - with a great library of books and working fireplace. The room we stayed in had a modern and luxurious bathroom.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food and great service
Cons: AC didn’t work in room. Had to switch rooms. However, Staff very helpful in moving our possession.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The arrival and departure were extremely seamless and they removed all the stress from the process. It was the first time that I didn't have to deal with 'paperwork'. Everyone knows who we were once we arrived on property. The staff was warm, friendly and unobtrusive. Housekeeping service was magic as the room was always ready when we returned. They even clean the room when we left for breakfast even though we were leaving on that day itself. It is a place to relax and disconnect from the everyday hassle. Aside for the wifi provided, there is no network service unless you use Sprint so it is just perfect for us. The room is just WOW! My room was in the Carter House that only had a total of three rooms. It was so spacious, and the bed was like a giant cloud. There is a zoo with cute sheep, lambs and lamas! Really hope I can return again in the future.
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about the property. It was perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Inn is always a great place to stop for a night (this was my fifth visit). The restaurant just received its third Michelin star and deserves it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Of course such quality has its price and it is high, but I always feel I've gotten my money's worth.
Cons: I wish I could afford to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great on both-but I think it would be appropriate to include a full breakfast in room price.
Cons: See above—nothing, otherwise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was AWESOME! The staff was extraordinarily helpful, polite, and worked well together. I was very impressed with the staff! Food was fantastic. Everything prepared to perfection. Can't say enought good things about the experience. Loved it and plan to return.
Cons: Would have been nice to meet Patrick O'Connell as some point. Still, nothing adverse to say about the experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food and accommodations were exquisite; staff amazing!

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice location, quiet, but close to Riverton Commons andvthevnorth end of Front Royal
Cons: Really worn and threadbare carpet in the room! Two tears and just worn down. Like it was installed in 1974. Unexpected for a *** hotel and the price.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was nice and there were pretty views of the mountains in the distance from our 4th level floor. I'd recommend getting up as high as you can (not sure how many floors there are).
Cons: The shower towel I used seemed to have a strange scent to it, which didn't exactly inspire confidence. Didn't really use the TV, but when trying to turn it on and off, there were clearly issues with the receiver/remote/battery. Old am/fm clock/radio.

Pros: the onsite brewery was fantastic! We also loved the cozy room, delicious breakfast, tailored hiking and restaurant recommendations, and gorgeous B&B with a perfect patio for relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the cutest B&B ever. It's incredibly clean, beautifully decorated and perfectly located in the town of Sperryville. The owners, Kevin and Sherri, are extremely helpful and friendly, and they somehow manage to run the B&B and manage their adjoining alehouse without a hitch. Speaking of which, their beer is great, as was the breakfast. My husband and I are so glad we chose Hopkins Ordinary! I had no idea what to expect when I booked it, but I couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely stay there again when we're back in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I made a mistake and booked 2 different properties for the same night. When we arrive I explained to the innkeeper, Sherrie, and she graciously moved our reservation to the following night. 4.2 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Everything else. Lights off from switch so entered hallway and room in complete darkness. Tv turned off with light switch and took several minutes to reboot. When I asked for help the first time clerk rolled her eyes at me. No phone. No list of channels although most of channels not available. One nightstand for both beds too far to reach for either bed because beds extremely far apart on edges of room. We stayed two nights and they did not clean room, make beds or leave towels or washcloths.

Cons: Needed to be updated.

1.0 Poor
Cons: Dirty, noisy. Dog in room barking. Asked 3 times for coffee for the room, never got it. Internet was in and out. Terrible TV reception.
7.1 Good
Pros: The woman that checked us in was very friendly and prompt. She also offered several good suggestions for places to eat.
Cons: The hallway had a fowl smell. Our toilet seat/lid was almost ready to fall off, but they did have someone up to fix it within 5 minutes of letting them know.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was bright and clean with nice furnitures. Good facilities and kind services made staying comfortable and joyful.
Cons: You can enjoy the interesting sounds like JIG-JIG of bath tub when showering.
6.0 Good
Pros: Price and locarion
Cons: Mostly clean, though basic. A few hairs on the bathroom floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless, inexpensive, convenient, pleasant staff.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was cleanish and the price was on the cheap side, so for just a one night stay it was ok, but I wouldn't stay again. Check in staff was very friendly.
Cons: It was in the 30s outside, but somehow it was burning hot in our room (the heater wasn't on, so i'm not sure how it got so hot). The heating/air unit in the room was SO old. My husband and I travel often, and I've never seen one like this. We turned on the air conditioner, but it would only run for about 10 minutes then it would cut off and we'd have to go turn it off then turn it back on to get it to run again. It was very frustrating, and it took forever for the room to cool off. Thankfully it wasn't the summer when we stayed; I don't think we could've handled that. If we were staying longer than one night then I would've mentioned it to the staff, but we were just tired and wanted to go to bed. The shower/tub was so old, and when you got in to shower the floor would creak so loud anytime you moved. It would be very annoying if a neighbor were showering at night because it's so loud. The light in the bathroom would flicker for a few minutes before it'd finally come on and it was very dim, and it was a tiny bathroom. The whole place is very outdated.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The heating unit never put out hot air.. The bed was hard as a rock.... The hot water stayed lukewarm.... The bathtub creaked when you moved around in the shower... One packet of coffee for 2 guests... The alarm clock never worked....
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Run down, needs renovation
5.0 Okay

Cons: The wall next to the tub had a hold in it.The pant was peiling. The cover on the bed was very old.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: everything was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good price, great location at the end of the Skyline Drive, plenty of food options nearby.
Cons: All breakfast plates, cups and utensils are plastic
7.0 Good
Pros: We like having the continental breakfast and it was a nice quiet stay. We like having the in room refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot.
Cons: The bath tub was not properly set so it was flexible and noisy when showering. The water was lukewarm not hot. It appeared that the motel was working on walls and pipes since they were exposed in the hallway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: I booked this hotel because of the convenient location to Skyline Drive. I booked one room for me and another for my daughter, her husband, and their 2 children. The hotel sheets were dirty and soiled, the beds were noisy and uncomfortable, we felt unsafe on property, the hallways and entries smelled like wet animals. My daughter and I went shopping at the near by Target and purchased bed linen and blankets. I will never stay in a Motel again, ever!
4.0 Okay
Cons: Pool not working, no ice machine (broken); bathroom fixtures ready to fall off; door had issues....I know it was recently purchased as a Mote 6, but it is far below the basic standard I would expect. I could not currently recommend this motel;

Cons: See above.

7.5 Good
Pros: i was confortable enough to walk around with my socks off
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable. A continental breakfast would've been nice for the price you pay. Next time we visit we'll probably find a different hotel to stay in. The back parking lot was a little sketchy.
