Must be the nicest accomodation on Santorini. Altho slighly remote, which adds to its magic, good walking trail to towns. Staff very friendly & helpful, ideal amenities, very clean, great pool and had own spa with magnificent view. nothing
Fantastic level of service. The private location. The stunning view. The wonderful food. And the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, a true sancturary.
Tranquility, the beautiful set up of the hotel, very nice room and the incredible pool!
The view, could not get tired of that view, breathtaking! Also liked the infiniti pool, gourmet dining, the peaceful isolation and the uncrowdedness of this unique and wonderful establishment. And I can not fail to mention the exceptional service of the staff up and down the line, especially George Zygouris of the dining staff. everything was exceptional except for one thing , the room had an open floor plan inclusive of the bathroom facilities and as such there was no privacy when one would needed most.
Amazing luxury hotel, perfect location secluded yet very close to touristic villages, breathtaking uninterrupted view to the caldera, great infinity pool, well equiped cave rooms with all the modern facilities, perfect for honeymooners... The hotel just opened in April 2009 even though the service was great some things need to have minor improvements... like over humidity in the room...
Quiet and beautiful environment situated on the caldera cliffside. Helpful and friendly staff. While essentially isolated from the main towns, it was also relatively convenient to travel to Oia and Fira with a bus stop in front of the premises. Since the hotel is not very close to any shops or restaurants, you will have to either eat and drink at the hotel, or, take the bus/taxi for 10+ minutes to any nearby town for food and necessities. A simple trade-off if you know what you want.
San Antonio offers genuine, unpretentious luxury, high quality services and tactful/amicable/ welcoming environment from all its staff. The unique combination of the "private" view with this high quality service offering makes the staying in San Antonio a special, private and worthwhile experience. Even though San Antonio was only working for 2 months when we visited and there are very minor practical things that could be further improved, I do not think that any of these things would change my view of the hotel, therefore are not worthwhile to be mentioned.
The views from this location are beautiful of the caldera & peaceful. The staff is courteous & look pleasant with minimal makeup. The breakfast is good especially the choice of healthy nuts. The spa steam room is great. The jacuzzi is not very comfortable & needs more jets. The Nuxe shampoo wasn't very hair smoothing. Their regular prices are too pricey in peak season.
Stunning hotel. The most incredible view, incredible breakfasts, beautiful rooms and highly professional and courteous staff. Liked everything
The rooms where fantastically decorated, spacies, new and where cleaned every day - you couldn't ask for anything more in the room. The view was fantastic the sunset was directly in front of the hotel so you had the most amazing view over the water and of the sunset - breakfast was also served over looking the water. The hotel is as beautiful as the pictures on the website - they are not exagerate (as you can get sometimes) at all! Really beautiful place. There isn't constant reception put the owners live on site and tell you that you can knock on their door anytime you need anything which is lovely but at 11pm when you realize you dont' have a sheet (although we did knock) it was very awkard. In addition, the owners have children who are very cute and very polite but they swim in the pool and make all the noises children make so if you don't like this then be warned.
Everything was absolutely perfect - the room, the gorgeous view, breakfast, the pool, the quiet location. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing was too much trouble. It is in a really peaceful and tranquil spot and idling away the hours lying in a hammock with a fantastic view of the Caldera was really special.
Amazing view ! Newer building. Excellent service by Koula , the owner. Comfortable room ! Good breakfast, served with a nice smile. Lots of parking. I highly recommend this great place if you go to Santorini. Located between Fira and Oia , so it make it ideal to visit the island. You can even walk to both cities by using the trail that is located right in front of the hotel.
I liked the kind welcome, availability and welcome of the owner. Nice and well kept swimming pool and nice view. Good breakfast. Very good value for money. You need to rent a car to stay in this hotel, taxis will not take you to Thira from here, as it is a too short ride. And buses risk to be full. The room is simple but nice, but the bathroom shower is open and water goes everywhere when you use it since a curtain is missing.
It was in a lovely setting looking out over the caldera and also a perfect spot to watch the famous Santorini sunset. It was an apartment not just a hotel. Quite a way from everything, I didn't realise quite how far. But quiet and peaceful also.
Everthing is perfect, exclusive location, very nice hotel personnel, brilliant breakfast view to the ocean. We were sorry that we could not spend more time in the swimming pool in front of the hotel.
Fantastic views and sunset and well suited to us being away from the busy tourist areas. Own transport is required ideally due to location which was quickly organised buy Koula for us. We had a car in 10 minutes delivered to our door step! - Loved it and had a great time. We expected the apartment to be self contained. No cooking facilities at all - but overall this did not effect our time in this lovely place. Breakfast could be a bit more varied - but this was typical of most places we stayed at (how much bread and boiled eggs can u eat?)
Wonderful location high on edge of volcano, gorgeous view, very spacious and super clean accommodation with very nice and thoughtful details...owners are super reliable and helpful, made us feel right at home...the best family run accommodation I've stayed at. Car rental is recommended as it is located in a more quiet location; however, Santorini is a place you want to rent a car in order to get around anyhow. None I can think of, great value, especially for Santorini!
We loved the tranquil setting, the spacious rooms, and the amazing view. The jacuzzi is beautiful and so romantic to watch the sun set from it. The staff were kind also. Only the weather!! It is about 15 minutes walk to the nearest shop (uphill) which is fine, as the walk and view is beautiful but it is a little further out than we expected. However you would not get such spacious and quiet accommodation otherwise so it was a small price to pay. We arrived early (flight overnight) but there were no facilities nor opportunities to even get a drink of water. We walked and walked but everywhere was closed at that time in the morning. We would get a day flight next time.
In addition to the breathtaking views and luxury suites, Sofia and her staff were some of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. We stayed here for the first leg of our trip to Santorini (3 nights) and were blown away by the hotel's beauty, serenity and hospitality. For us, staying in Imerovigli was perfect, as it was in between Fira and Oia -- so we could get to either easily -- but was less busy and chaotic, which provided for a peaceful and romantic stay. If we ever make the trip back to Santorini, we'll definitely be staying at Absolute Bliss.
The design is amazing, the rooms and the private balnonies are huge and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent. View beautiful. It was advertised the room as an caldera view. Its not. its is facing to the island in front of, but i didnt mind finally because its nicer than the caldera.
The best is the view, and there is a nice very good and cheap restaurant near by The Hotel access is difficult and there is no signs
Sofia was the most perfect host. We were more blown away than we could have even imagined by the hotel. As the name alludes an absolutely blissful experience. It was the very end of the season so the weather was chilly- but could fault the service not!
Wonderful view from room, breakfast on the terrace, room itself, perfect situated hotel (location), Nothing!! Everything just perfect! Pitty that it became very windy, so we couldn't use the terrace anymore. Beautiful anyway.
Very nice and warm welcome from Sofia and her crew, very nice rooms, nice badroom, large bed, superbe view on the Caldera. Very good breakfast on your private terrace. Sofia is really caring for her guests! Excellent new discovery! Continue like that! Nothing!
Having breakfast served every morning on the balcony was amazing and looking out at the magnificent view.
Amazing View, the hotel is fantastic and the staff was great!
Absolutely fabulous. The room is amazing the view is incredible. warm hospitality by the staff. Sofia was really helpful and courteous. Absolutely recomend this hotel as one of the best in Santorini !
Beautiful setting and facilities. Wonderful and attentive staff. Difficulty in locating and unattractive approach.
every thing is good.
View from the hotel is fantastic Far from Fira, about 20 minutes walk! Easily solved when rented a bike.
Magnificent view to the caldera, comfortable spacious room (suite 303), nice pool and surrounding area. Friendly staff. It's quite a distance to reach Fira! There is, however, spacious parking space. The bathroom was too small and rather uncomfortable.
First would have to be the fantastic view. The staff and service was terrific and it would have to be one of the best places to go to in this big world of ours. Absolutely loved it !!!!
A lovely comfortable hotel with fantastic views, the breakfast and dining area was very pleasant, again with wonderful views the food and service was good The hotel is situated a little to far from the town for us to walk and even though the hotel offers free transport it is limited
the wiev, the breakfast, the pool area, The too long distance to the city
The view of the sea is excellent, so is the staff! Really doesn't get any better in my opinion. Greece is very beautiful in general, but is not a cheap trip! Local's complain about the Euro and it's impact on travel & their cost of living.
beautiful,sea sight yes
We had a great stay at the Lilium. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean, the views were amazing, its location is a bit far from the town, but not too bad. Breakfast was good also. All in all a fantastic stay there. The bathroom had a dampy smell.
The view was spectacular! The entire hotel staff was wonderful! We will stay there everytime we visit Santorini and recommend it to anyone visiting the island. No
Very nice staff any beautifull view Beds were to hard on my old back :o)
My new husband and I could not have been more pleased. This was our favorite place of 4 part honeymoon. The view is unbelievable and incredibly romantic.
Excellent personal service, excellent quality of breakfast served in the room upon request. Amazing view, relaxing atmosphere Small pool
location, staff and general feel of quality. food excellent. pool side service for drinks etc was hard to come by. excellent service when found though!
the service and the amazing view! NO
The locarion was fantastic, the view amazing! Rooms were clean, spacious and the staff were very friendly. A very peaceful hotel where one can relax, we would like to recommend this resort to each and every one!
The location is great and the staff were friendly. The breakfasts are not 4* quality and the mattresses are terrible! The kitchenette is described as having all the necessary utensils... it doesn't - we asked for pots and pans so that we could use the hot-plate and were told we were not allowed them (don't know why there is a hot-plate if you are not allowed to use it..!)
Excellent location with amazing view! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The pool area was clean and relaxing. Nothing negative to say. Pegasus was a highlight of our holidays.
Pegasus Suites was perfect. I read many reviews prior to booking and they were all positive and I completely agree. The location is perfect and all the pictures are totally legit. It's a quick walk from Fira, the main part of the island but that's the point. You aren't in the middle of all the chaos. The room, staff and included (huge) breakfast were 4 star. La Maison right next door was a fantastic place to eat too. Rent a ATV right up the street at Seabird and drive the island top to bottom all day. That was the most fun we have ever had. The local kitty Sophie will steal your heart too. No printer for boarding passes. This is so minor who really cares.
the hotel, the view and the service! nothing
The staff were totally friendly and helpful, even from before the start of the stay there. . The free breakfast was perfect. The location is very good, only a 15 minute walk into town. The view was amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset sea view in our balcony every day. I would stay here again for sure.
location is good for 3 relaxation holidays they do not accept credit cards for final payment, cash only
Spectacular setting, each room with an amazing view of the caldera. Great locaton - just steps away from restaurants and shops. Beautiful pool overlooking the sea. Lovely breakfast served on your balcony or by the pool every morning. We really enjoyed our stay!
The wonderful view over the caldera, the great location, the grate service, the resort is about 15 mins walk to Fira, the wellcome wine was great - the whole experience was great. Definitely an unforgettable experience!
Peace and quiet. The view and location. Furniture and fixtures especially the shower and bathroom were antiquated
Excellent service provided by very friendly and highly trained staff. Great rooms and truly fantactic views!
Extremely beautiful scenery! The staffs were very friendly and kind. Nothing.
We chose this "hotel" to have a quiet break together, not to meet people and make new friends. This was ensured by the privacy of the suites, and the location, very quiet, away from the main ant-hill of Imerovigli, and close to excellent restaurants (Vanilia, Saltsa) and cafes (Mylos); The design of the rooms is stunning, and the comfort level cannot be bettered;
The owners were lovely and so helpful both prior to us arriving and while we were there. The room was stunning and the views even better. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Santorini, we will certainly be back.
Beautiful views from room, unique atmosphere, first class service.
Dreams was over the top. The view, the room and most of all the employees. What a wonderful place to stay.
Simply the most amazing hotel and views in the greek isles
The views were amazing.. although there were not views from the rooms we stayed in, despite what we thought when we booked it. there was no wifi and the shared computers were very slow.. very minor thing.
the design of the hotel was excellent and staff was well trainned
the ambience, location, facilities and the helpful staff. he breakfast was also a great start to the day
The views Was disappointed that there at the reduced facalites during the winter
The location is beautiful, high on the cliff over the Caldera, great sunset view, we stayed in Honeymoon suite so had private veranda. Each room has private jacuzzi on veranda. Quiet. Fantastic breakfast served on your veranda anytime from 8Am on. Not too many steps down from road. While researching hotels on Santorini I noticed a lot of people complain about intermittent water supply and smell from drain in bathroom. Twice the water wouldn't turn on for a little while but didn't have to wait too long for it to be back on. Plenty of hot water for long showers. Slight smell from drain but dropped hand towel over it and barely noticeable. I think these are part of cave house style living and not fault of hotel.
Simple-chic decor, beautiful and romantic. Overlooking Oia and a stunning sunset. Very good level of service, particularly considering that the place is only a couple of months old! Because of the small size of the hotel, a couple of rooms at the level of the reception may not have privacy.
Excellent view. No private parking.
great view . , fabulos location , excelent staff
My family stayed at White as we were on Santorini for my daughter's wedding. The hotel was superbly located and relaxing. Views over the water and of the sunsets were magnificent. Not a bargain price but probably similar to other properties. Eating out was also expensive - but great food! Delightful staff and excellent breakfasts. The hotel and Santorini are beautiful and we loved our stay there. Not cheap but a real treat.
The breakfast and food from the room service menu was absolutely delicious! We looked very forward to our breakfast everyday. The location of The White is ideal. After traveling throughout the island, I think Imeriovigli is the best place to stay. It is outside of Fira so it's therefore less busy but still within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. The view is spectacular from all balconies at The White. The sunset is just as beautiful from The White as it is from Oia. The hotel is also nearby a small grocery store and the bus station which was quite convenient. Suggestions when staying in Santorini- bring good walking shoes (high heels will not work), take the bus (it's easy and cheap). The jacuzzies were not hot like they typically are in the us. We had to request for the temperature of our jacuzzi to be turned up several times. There is definitely a smell of sewer gas in the bathrooms. However, this is a problem throughout the entire island, not just at The White. The island is built on a volcanic rock so plumbing is difficult. We stayed in the honeymoon suite for 3 nights and I must say the suite is not worth the money. Actually, the apartments have much more room and the jacuzzi was warmer.
Excellent choice. Staff (Margarita) extremely pleasant and helpful. Follow her recommendations!!! Beautiful location, as seen in the photos.
We had a great time in White. Delicious breakfirst, lovely room, bath room and pool with great view were all good. The town is more quite and peaceful than oia and fira. We've got electricicy problem during we stayed in White.
Stylish and brand new with friendly staff. Awesome views. Extremely relaxing stay and would be happy to return.
very good facility and room service
Great place, amazing view, excellent staff. Breakfast was exceptional! Expensive, there are better alternatives in this price range
Breakfast served on your own patio nice. View spectacular. Air conditioning worked but did not cool well. Temperature outside was 80's.If temperature hot -- may be a problem.
beautiful views and clean accomodations
the magnificent view
We were very satisfied with all of things during our stay. Especially, the breakfast and also the restaurant were excellent.
the location was wonderful with incredible views as well as very quiet. Complementary breakfast by far the best of any hotels I've stayed in. Helpful staff will arrange transportation to airport.
cleanning, excellente view and services.
The stay was magnificent, especially due to the staff and due to its location (away from the masses, especially the masses of cruise ship inhabitants). Highly recommended for anyone, although if you want the "classical" view of the entire caldera, this hotel (awesome view though it has) doesn't have the full view.
This is a small but exceptionally well managed resort with only 15 studios/suites. The small team work very hard to make your stay enjoyable in a fantastic location away from the crowds. Don't be put off by the latter as an excellent bus service runs every 30 mins to both Fira and Oia. A small team means a limited fixed menu but Oia in particular has lots to offer.
The pool Deck was awesome, the room was large and very clean, the hotel menu was good and food was fresh. Generally, the staff were very polite and even though the location of the hotel isn't in Imerovigli itself, I much prefered that. Being away from the village meant more privacy and the feeling of being in the open as some hotel pools in Ioa or Imerovigli are right beside walking paths. Also, while bus stop is about 150m away. I'd recommend a hire car or quad bike. The girls on the front desk were a bit aloof at times and while friendly when you had a question, didn't give the impression of wanting to help or as caring as the staff who cleaned, served etc.
