Clean, comfortable I was ok with everything until a roach crawled out of the bed side table drawer.
Location and breakfast. Terrible A/C, Shower water pressure was practically zero, and no security around when my female friend was harassed by some old jerk who followed her to the room and knocking on the door.
Great price for a good location. Shower wasn't as clean as i would have hoped..
Continental breakfast The massive bug i had to get outta my room that was hiding under my pillow.
The location and the staff were great The AC in the rooms barley worked, the beds were rock hard, and we found roaches in our room. Also the pool felt as if it was the same temp as the sauna.
Close to everything, good location Pool open til 11pm Fridge and microwave In room coffee Gave me complimentary late checkout Very noisy, rooms have very thin walls Pillows are too small Bathroom is small, shower head is too low and difficult for tall people TV needs to be elevated Some outlets don;t work
Just needed a place to sleep so didn't use the room as much but overall nice, clean space with enough room for my husband and I. I'd stay there again. Not sure who's at fault but when I got to the place they said our room wasn't booked. Had our conformation # and got the room but then saw right now I was charged twice and have a negative balance on my account. Hesitant from booking from this site if this is going to be a problem. :/
Loved the friendly staff. The breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi
She was polite when I asked her I wouldn't be staying the 2nd night. You can't control the AC, it got very hot and humid in the room. Couldn't sleep, asked for a different room but the other room was just the same. Also found an old rotten apple under the bed, it was white like it had been under there for a while. Was gross, shows they don't thoroughly cleaned the room. Changed hotels the 2nd night, couldn't handle sleeping in that hotel again. Still waiting for my refund for the second night.
Good location because it was close enough to everything. Customer service was good. Room had a mini fridge and microwave which was great. Breakfast was good. There was a decent selection available from waffles, bagels, toast to something light like oatmeal and cereal. Lots of loud bugs flying outside our room so it was uncomfortable to want to leave the room (one even came in our room at one point). There was also a cockroach on the tv. The tv was so outdated even though they had cable; there was static and you couldn't see much.
Room was quiet. They were able to accommodate my request for upstairs room. Air conditioning didn't work in my room so had to switch rooms. Only one person checking in guests and taking calls so the wait to check in was long even at 10 pm. When I called later to ask for another room, they said they'd have to come check the air conditioning first before moving me. They never came so I went down myself to demand a new room. Front desk was nice but it's just understaffed and they are overwhelmed.
Breakfast is grade. It is ok to sit at pool side for breakfast but not during summer. Too little sitting space for breakfast
Nice room, reasonable rates, reasonable close to downtown Palm Springs. Motel is on Palm Springs Bicycle Century route so can begin ride from here. However with Bookings, rates for 3 night stay were comparable to downtown 1 night stay. Still 2 miles from downtown Palm Springs.
location carpet torn & dingy, auto light in bathroom, no fan in bathroom (didn't work)
Mostly a good deal, friendly staff. There was a pubic hair in the sink when I arrived, beds were a little stiff
The large pool and courtyard. If you don't want me to tell you why we didn't like this hotel without complaints, it is impossible! The taps would not shut off on the sink, the bathtub would not drain when we took a shower. There was constant air in the pipes because of the tap. The rug is coming away from the wall. We could not open the fridge door as it wasn't setting level. The carpet needed to be replaced. This hotel needs a reno and I would never recommend anyone stay here.
Nothing until I checked out 10 minutes after checking in The entire place. Filthy, ugly, rude staff
The breakfast staff was good and food was suitable. The room was not kept in good condition. Missing wood frame around door, open space under entry door causing air and bugs to come into room. Cobwebs in the upper area from top of wall to ceiling.
room was clean and staff friendly. free breakfast was good over all value was good.
I love the rooms are big and comfortable beds as well the bathrooms .Very nice hotel.. I like everything ,suggestions I think rooms need a microwave .The rest perfect
Nice and quiet with a happy and positive environment. Light switches were a littpe confusing but easily figured out
Free breakfast at Rick's was good and filling. Bed was comfortable and king room was decent sized. Staff were helpful and friendly. Spa was out of commission for several days and pool was unheated during our entire stay of 5 days. Refrigerator was turned up too high and froze our produce. Ridiculously small coffee pot didn't work. Staff was responsive to our complaints and discounted our rate accordingly. Overall fairly pleased with stay.
nice clean motel, enjoyed the pool area. The included breakfast across the street was great. nothing.
I went there with friends to get drunk and gave a good time. Statutes at this hotel and it was pretty chill. Not really complaining. Staff was nice. The loud bugs outside lol but that's nobody's fault but the the desert.
Nothing Filthy room, floor was covered in black soot, under the bed and behind bed side cabinets has not been cleaned for a few years , Pool was freezing and pool grounds extremely dirty
The room is totally dark! Great for sleeping! Very quiet! The staff is very helpful! This is the second time we have stayed here in a week due to a death in the family. The cleanliness of the room on our second stay is much better.
It was great for the price. Clean room in a good location minutes from downtown. Didn't take advantage of the amenities because we were spending time at another hotel for a wedding. Nothing. Free breakfast wasn't much but it's a budget hotel so don't expect 5-star amenities.
that it was quite, clean.had a freg and a microwave was a plus when i book I requested a room overlooking the pool area, did not get this why?
If you want a basic non fancy place to stay it meets your needs. We would stay again! Clean comfortable room floor level with a walk out backyard was nice! Basic breakfast included with cereal, toast waffles etc. worth the price.
I was very impressed with having a room with a king bed, private balcony overlooking the mountains, fridge and microwave, free continental breakfast, free WiFi, a good location, free parking ... all for under $75/night. It's only two miles to the main PS strip, so that's not bad, and it's on a semi-main street so the traffic is very moderate. I would definitely stay here again.
I liked the wonderful breakfast with fresh baking, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. along with a very friendly staff. The shower was a bit temperamental. It could suddenly run very hot making it quite dangerous.
in agood position, souless hote lStaff dont bother to speak to you.. Reception-wait for rooms when you can tell its only 25% full
Free breakfast with stay. Leak in tub faucet
Very spacious room, nice swimming pool, breakfast was basic but okay
Beautiful location, friendly staff, felt safe LOUD air conditioner. It turns off and on constantly. Impossible sleep! Had to shower on my knees.
Hotel was quiet and staff helpful and friendly! The cleanliness of carpet basically just the middle of carpet had been vacuumed edges and closer to the wall was dirty! Grout around tub needed to be replaced or mildew removed.
Easy to get to downtown. Nice pool. Stunning view--I like that the best. Friendly staff. The breakfast is modest but adequate--cold cereal, fruit, and donuts
Great price Went to take a shower and no hot water.
The room was confortable, the beds soft, and the showers good the pool was disgusting and the breakfast room is too small
The shower had plumbing reversed almost scalded my self
The hotel is rather close to coachella. It's comfortable as a 100/night business hotel. We paid more than 1200 dollars for four nights at this place because it was coachella weekend. This is the literal definition of price gouging which I realize is legal. The problem is if you're going to charge me like a 4-5 star Manhattan hotel I'm going to expect that level of service. The paint was peeling on the walls and the pillows were hard as rocks. There were dead bugs outside the rooms. We were made to stand outside by security in 97 degree heat while checking in. The line was three people long and the lobby was empty. While waiting in line we were constantly being sold on non-super 8 services like vans to and from the venue. There was no explanation or apology for this bizarre treatment. The "free buffet breakfast" as cereal, plastic cups of yogurt, and waffles you had to make yourself. It ended and was locked in a refrigerator promptly at 9am. Asking for milk at 9.02am got me a passive aggressive "Breakfast is over at 9am" from one of the two employees that were cleaning up the second the clock struck the hour. When I came back 15 minutes earlier the following day so I could eat before going to work, I got an un-solicited and sarcastic "you got here on time!" From the same woman. Also, you may be thinking that coachella weekend must have been very trying on these people as drunk college kids are never fun to deal with. However, consider how many people are going to be awake at 8.30AM for a festival that basically doesn't start until noon. There were 6 people eating breakfast maximum each day and all of them were quite cordial.
Attended a concert at Fantasy Springs on the MLK weekend. Many hotels would not allow anyone to rent a room for one night because of that holiday weekend. Super 8 was very accommodating. I requested a downstairs room to share with my 87 year old Dad. They arranged that too. I will not complain about the little things, since being able to secure the room for my one-night need was enough to satisfy both my father and I. There wasn't anything of concern about the room.
Had to pay for wifi
Nothing Tiny. Way too much for a dinky little room. Hair on sheets. Stained sheets. Overall shabby outside.
Location Staff Facilities Floors were dirty The lady next door with 3 big dogs she couldn't control
I didn't like that we got stuck with a smoking room because they don't let you choose when you book through kayak.
Location. Very convenient to everything in downtown Palm Springs. All within walking distance.
had problem with plumbing, major water leak in the adjacent complained to front desk, all they did was have us check out early, flooded half the room, shortened our stay!!!!!!!!
Quiet location in this motel are all smoking only - non-smoking location in this motel are non-smoking - noise of generator of next building and noise of street traffic
Good location There was sand on my bed... I felt itchy when I woke up...
great value. Friendly and convenient.
Great location, nice facility As a repeat customer, I've noticed they don't mop the floors. Both my sock and soles of my feet were dirty very quickly.
Pool and hottub Noise early morning
Great price and location but with added regrets. The common areas were disturbingly unkempt. Odd white substances growing in the hallway corner. Sketchy guests. Great location though....
Beds were comfortable. Great locations, close to many things. Staff was really nice Old tvs, not many channels to choose from. No microwaves.
The second room I was in was large, had a comfortable bed and a seating area with a sofa to relax in. There was a fridge, but no microwave. It took 4 attempts to get me a room with a working door. The first room tried 3 times with keys that wouldn't open the door. The housekeeping staff tried to let me in with the passkey, and even that was giving her trouble. We also couldn't close the door from the outside. Once in the room, I would be trapped there without a key to let me back in. After a few hours, they finally settled me into a second room. It advertises free wifi in every room. My new room was literatlly next to the office and I was unable to access wifi for most of my trip. If I lay a certain way on the bed and hold my laptop just so... it might connect for a bit. It advertises free breakfast every morning. Breakfast was toast and coffee. For a few dollars more per night, one could stay at a Motel 6 or a Travelodge chain that has certain standards of cleanliness and basics provided.
Relatively cheap. Decently clean, not extremely horrible, but not pristinely clean. The office closes at 10:00 PM. You would think they were operating a restaurant and not a hotel with those hours.
I liked not being at the hotel. The shower pan literally had holes in it where you could fall through. They didn't replace towels. The bed may have had bed bugs. The TV does not have basic cable channels like ESPN. The continental breakfast was locked down whenever I went to get breakfast, first attempt was at 630am, second at 730am, I gave up. The outlets don't all provide power. The wifi indicates you are online but is slower than dialup technology from the 1980s. This was literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in...the only reason I stayed was because everywhere else was sold out. Don't stay at this hotel...especially not room 112
good free parking. comfortable bed, nice continental style free breakfast door was A LITTLE TIGHT TO OPEN probably a little wd 40 would help
just was very awesome, loved the hot tub ,and rooms pillows

Very very clean No Shampoo- just those bars of soap that leave your skin really tacky
Nice clean room, nice staff. Sunday front desk clerk more knowledgeable than the front desk clerk on Friday. Shower strength, would be nice for a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner in room.
Price Room not ready, did not make up, internet was spotty, trains all night
The staff was very helpful.

Room was nice
The bathroom was nice. The stained conferters
everyone was so nice, great location, nice pool and lawn
That it was close to where I needed to be. It wasn't clean. Service was a not the best. The room was clean but the blankets and sheets were disgusting. I get its a motel but they should provide clean bed sheets to each room.
Great friendly staff. And wonderful facility for its price range. No dislikes
close to downtown palm springs. not thoroughly clean. sparse amenities. office staff not personable.
Loved the weather! Palm Springs is overrated.
Had to call office upon arriving to room to report bathroom sink was backed up.
Professionalize of staff. The TV was set low & you couldn't turn up the volume.
Proximity to event I was attending They charged more than what was on my reservation
location When I checked in with my priceline reservation. I was asked to confirm it was for one room , smoking , for two people. I asked if I could change to a non smoking room. I was charged 17.00 dollars more and staff did not know why. Needing the room I paid.
Location cleanliness was not satisfactory. The bedspreads/sheets had stains on them. There was a spider or could of been a crab on the pillow. I itched all night. Remote control was disgusting.
went to dinner at a mexican restaurant, and went to the movies at Dinah shore, celebrate Valentines weekend I did not like this hotel, room 228 is located next to stairs, the floors vibrate inside our room when anyone steps down the stairs, it feels like an earthquake inside.could not sleep. The toilet flange trap did not work properly and the water kept flowing out, i had to fix it in order to keep water noise quiet.ROOM 228 is a disgrace, no one should be allowed to stay in this room with such noise coming from people walking up and down the stairs, this room should be made into a hotel storage supply room, this is just greedy corporations trying to maximize their profits regardless of quality or service
Great housekeeping staff
I had a one night stay and just used the room for bed and bath. Nothing super spectacular about the room or the property. I mean, c'mon, its a Motel 6. At one point, I bent over to tie my shoes and saw (on floor) part of a condom wrapper under the corner of the bed. There are no clocks in the room, so make sure you have a time keeping device with you.
Close to where I was going. Really bare bones and not very nice. No iron available, no ammenities, i.e., shampoo, etc.
Convenient location to attractions, restaurants, shopping areas and other places we planned on visiting. The front desk was most helpful
It was very basic but the rooms were very clean and the decor was nice for an inexpensive room. It was quiet. No shampoo, lotion, or tissue in rooms. Also, towels were barely sufficient.
Convenient location Hotel room carpet was not clean nor did it smell fresh. Noisy upstairs occupants even late at night. Large groups of people just milling about outside of their hotel room talking loudly.
