Beautiful location and landscape, great rooms, very friendly staff The sprinklers went off a little after 5 PM and were spraying the sidewalks more than the plants themselves. I was effectively blocked in my path and had to take a longer route. Why in the heck can't they activate the watering cycle after midnight??
We enjoyed the convenience of having all the necessary amenities: lazy river' pool, rec. room, rooms had a full kitchen, grill in every balcony, washer & drier in the unit, etc... It it's definitely a great family destination! The Wi-Fi connection was terrible. I paid for a day of Wi-Fi and got terrible reception. Too many flies...not the resort's fault; the city seemed to have a fly problem.
I took a 3 night trip last week with my sister in law and our 4 kids. I would normally be afraid to all stay in one room, but space was never an issue. There is a huge master bedroom with a king bed and another bedroom with two twin beds. The living room also has a Murphy bed which is a nice touch so you can just push in up in the AM and not have to do major clean up. The decor is very nice- upgraded furniture and everything you could need in the kitchen. Each unit has a huge balcony with its own grill which is a nice touch! There is also a stackable washer and dryer (they even supplied detergent). The grounds are gorgeous and we had fun just walking around checking out the landscaping and lakes. There are bunnies and ducks everywhere which kept the kids entertained when we were not in the pool! Speaking of pools, this place has it all! There is a fun lazy river with both single and double tubes to use along with a huge pool and a very large kiddie pool that is only 1 foot deep all around. We never had a problem finding seating and some areas are even shaded. Our building (15) was very close to the main pool, but we took a walk one night around the corner and there is actually a replica of the large pool and kiddie pool on the other side of the property along with a spray-ground area for the kids. You can bring your own food/coolers to the pool and there is a nice store on site for all of your basic needs- although some things are very expensive. We found shopping paradise right down the street- every store you could think of including a dollar store for pool toys, a drive-thru Starbucks, and several fast-food and sit down restaurants. Our kids had the best time, it was one of the most enjoyable vacations I can remember in the desert. The only cons that I can think of has to do with the beds. The mattresses in both rooms are hard as a rock- really uncomfortable. The bedding is like cheap motel bedding- very stiff sheets and flimsy comforters and blankets. If only th...
Nice pools,perfect location
It was beautiful. everybody very helpful and friendly no
This just may be the best place to stay in Indio/Palm Springs. It really is a condo. I stayed in a 1 Bedroom that had to be at least 700 square feet. The pools were great (loved the lazy river) but the room was incredible! The large patio was a great place to hang out and the BBQ on your patio was a huge plus. The furnishings and kitchen were top notch. This really is a timeshare property and I may actually buy a timeshare here. The casino is only 4 blocks away. Easy access to the freeway but the resort is still off the beaten path and very secluded and surrounded by beautiful mountains and on a wonderful golf course. If you are really picky the only things you wouldn't like about this resort are: Shower is small (bathroom is large) and there is no complimentary shampoo. That's about it on the negatives. 5 out of 5 for me. You should stay here no question.
Nothing! The room was dirty, there were bugs in the bed, stains on the sheets, wallpaper was peeling, pool was dirty and disgusting, hotel was hot, the breakfast was disgusting. Cold egg-o waffles and no selection. This place is a joke. The staff couldn't be more clueless either.
Thank goodness we were only there one night. No local channels in the room tv's and the NFL playoff games were on tv so we couldn't watch. $28 resort fee on top of hotel fees. Front desk person seemed so put out to have to check us in and I'm pretty sure hates his job. The room had no bathtub. The room was so overly perfumed with air freshener. The air/heat barely worked. The free breakfast was typical freezing cold almost stale breads and muffins that everyone handles and touches. For the price of this Hotel we were very disappointed. See other review.
The front desk staff was friendly. The resort fee was more then stated. According to the email I received the fee was for entertainment, deluxe continental breakfast, valet parking, ect. Unfortunately the entertainment was geared towards a much older crowd, the delux breakfast was a health department nightmare, and there was nothing deluxe about it, kinda see where this is gong? Outside of the desk staff the others we encountered were rude. (Maid, waitress) Now for the room...the bathroom sink was cracked, one of the pillowcases was obviously dirty, the carpet was dirty, the people above us must have had elephants with them as it sounded as if they were about to fall through. This is not a place I will stay at again.
Classy decor, very nice sized hotel rooms. Older crowd friendly. Beautiful pool. Just o.k. dining area and food , free continental breakfast. Floor show in the lobby in the evening was great. Staff was very helpful and nice. Carpeting in public areas needed to be redone. Christmas decorations should be replaced. Noise level in first room was unacceptable, but hotel staff changed rooms for us. Anytime you book on a Kayak, Hotwire or other discount site, you are given the worst room in the hotels. You have to be proactive to get a better room.
Everything that they offer free breakfast Nothing negative to say
Clean room Room on first floor right next to lobby and the music was so loud I could hear it over my TV which I attempted to turn all the way up until 9:30. The walls were thin and I could hear a neighbor coughing all night and every person leaving the lobby talking as the walked to their room. Would not recommend for a bussiness stay but maybe for a vacation where you didn't have to be up at a certain time.
Resort fee a bit high Resort too expensive for what is offered.
Late night check in extremely easy, Eli was very pleasant and helpful! Rooms very clean, big. They offered us a quiet room which was great because we were there for desert international triathlon No charge for late check out
Clean and tidy. The beds are not queen but fulls... Very small.
Pretty much everything! Friendly staff, beautifully clean room, and that bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Only thing is that the menu for room service wasn't correct and should be updated. Also I didn't have a remote in my room for the Tv and
As soon as we walked in we felt welcome and taken care of. We were given an early check in and late check out no problem. The hotel is the right size to give it a homey feel and the layout also gives it a lot of charm. The room had a little balcony and patio door which I love (I hate hotels where the windows don't open). My only complaint was that the coffee maker in the room didn't work but it was easy to just go downstairs and get coffee from the full spread complimentary breakfast. I will stay here again!
THIS IS AN AVERAGE MOTEL. DESPITE THE FEE, THIS IS NOT A RESORT. CARPETS WERE FILTHY.
Rooms are great, comfortable, and clean. Setting is fantastic against the hills Smoking! Had balcony open at night, people below were smoking on their baloney at 5 am. Woken up from deep sleep by smoky room, and was in queen bed furthest from opening. Later informed front desk so not to get hit with cleaning fee, was told it's ok, No fee unless actually caught in the act. Clerk was unconcerned about the incident. Is smoking allowed on balconies? Oh no, smoking isn't allowed anywhere. Well, it ruined the night. She didn't get it...
Great service Room was not cleaned when we checked in had to call and ask for it to be cleaned again
The employees were some of the nicest I've experienced anywhere. From the valet, front desk, and wait staff at the pools and restaurants. We got upgraded without asking. I'll definitely be back. I get that hotels have resort fees now, but at least tell me what it's for. The only thing I could figure out was that it included a couple bottles of Dasani. And $27 for overnight valet parking? Yikes. It's Indian Wells, not NYC.
My wife and I are 24 and 27 and we've stayed here multiple times. We love the fact that there is a seperate adult only pool and overall the hotel is very quiet. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and the decor is newer and clean. The two things we did not like are the parking and prices of food at the pool. You HAVE to pay for parking whether self of valet... And the food at the pool was pretty outrageous... Very convenient and delicious, but outrageous.
The people are so friendly and accommodating! From Jonathan who checked us in to Danny at Valet and Michael the butler. They made my friend's Birthday so very memorable and had champagne for us the first night and left cupcakes when we got back the second night. The rooms could have been cleaned better. There was a roach in the room the whole weekend, even after they came to clean that first morning. Otherwise the service was exceptional, I will tell everyone about it.
The Restaurant and Adult Pool, the outdoor lounge and music at night. The housekeeping staff is completely incompetent. The beds were made with sheets to small for the bed, they rolled up during the night, very uncomfortable. Multiple complaints were met with acknowledgement, but nothing was done about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
What you would expect from Hyatt.
Nice room. Clean. Refrigerator in room kept turning on throughout the night and rattled so it was hard to sleep.
Access . Valet. Front desk check in !!! Tooo slow. Lacks clarity. !!! Room. Smaller than I expected for 800 a night. No mini bar no real sence of luxury. Blinds fell off needed menatainance !!!!!! This was not the expected result for me. I stay in expensive rooms all the time. This one was not that great I couldn't sleep. Penthouse room 5221 .. I was there match 5th.
room size waterslide happened to be closed during our trip (the hotel did bring in a temporary bounce house with water though)
This place is great during an off season or during the middle of the week but it gets packed like any other place on the weekend or holidays.
I like the different options for dining and activities. The room service was guaranteed in 30 mins which was great. The staff were all friendly and everything was open til the late hour. Our room was not ready and we had to wait around. The pool area needs more cleaning especially after a big rush.
Great amenities and hotel restaurants. Parking listed for free, ended up $30. Okay though considering the value.
The several pools
We loved the tapas on Thursday night, the pool and the location. Everything was wonderful - and the wonderful lady that serviced our room was beyond compare!!
Massage Don't ask each client questions like, what kind of room would you like spacious, or a room with a view before we get there. Because it's a lie. I asked for a spacious luxury room, with a view and I got an old beat up room with old furniture, dirty bedspread, foid left in the refrigeayor from last guests, smelled and a room view of a Tree!. I called the front desk, and your supervisor young lady said, sorry We are all booked up. I will make sure family and friends go next door yo Indian Wells or yo La Quinta la ty o stay for the tournament. I said I was so dissapointed and all she said was oh, so sorry.
Staff were very attentive and caring Slow elevators in building 12 which we stayed in!
The spa was nice - it was my bachelorette party, Grounds were dirty. Dead bugs in our room and all on balcony. Nobody answered phones when calling from the room - all the lines were mixed up. No sheets for pull out bed.
Clean, great service, and beautiful grounds No wine glasses in the room
Location was terrific and the meals we had in the restaurant were very good. This hotel was listed as a luxury hotel, but does not deserve that designation. There were no amenities or services that set it apart. The facilities are older and need some serious attention and repair. We had to ask for housekeeping service. There was no concierge and the staff was not knowledgeable about restaurants or activities in the area. The resort fee assessment was therefore inappropriate.
Beautiful grounds. Well kept gardens. Nice pool. Great concierge (Wanda). Hallways were dirty - unswept for 1 week. Dining room food has deteriorated over the last year. One small bar of soap for 2 sinks when we arrived.
We really enjoyed the spa and the pool. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff is very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
Dario was great at check in and the late check-out was extra nice! Two pools for adults and one for families was great too!
Great, friendly staff and an amazing spa!
Not that clean. Needs renovation.
The location was very convenient to the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens and the hotel had a regular shuttle to the tennis tournaments every day. The gardens at the hotel were very nicely maintained, but the food at the restaurants was mediocre. The Spa facilities were adequate but I had a wonderful Thai massage with Monica. I did not remember to bring my computer printout from Booking.com so the hotel did not honor the room rate which we had reserved with you. They then charged the regular rate which was considerably higher given it was a premium weekend because of the tennis tournaments. They were offering a free night for every two booked and they said that we could have a free night. But when it came time to check out, they charged us for the third night. It was only after a long "discussion" with the manager, that they gave us the third night free. It was not a pleasant experience to have to argue about this at the front desk in front of others. I also am angry with Booking .com as I believe that you should have told them the room rates you had given
Loved the cozy rooms!!
Great location, facility and experience. We made reservations for two rooms. One through the La Quinta website and the other through Kayak. They had no record of the Kayak reservation. They still got us in after some delay. First time that has ever happened. Wifi not good at all.
Grounds were very pretty. The employee during our check in was very professional, friendly and accommodating. Lighting in our room was NOT adequate, both in the bathroom (especially the bathroom) and in our bedroom. We had dinner outside and happened to be seated at a table where there was no overhead lighting. All the other tables has strings of lighting overhead to provide adequate lighting to read the menu and see your food. Ours didn't have any and we couldn't read the menu or see our food. We had to use the flashlights from our phones to read the menu. It would be an easy fix to add a string of lights. Needed more coffee creamers. Two for 2 people was not enough
Staff was gracious and helpful. There was sincerity in their attentiveness The bungalows are old so you can hear the televisions and water going through pipes in neighboring rooms. Pretty minor though and would still recommend a stay here.
The Mexican restaurant Adobe was really good and they are super dog friendly which was nice! We switched rooms because our first room smelled like cigars and weed, our second room wasn't much better either. The bathrooms are highly outdated and they don't offer robes or slippers in the rooms which I found odd.
