The location was great and the views from the room were fantastic. The facilities at the hotel were the best we had encountered with saunas and pool etc.
breakfast: good variety and quality we left this hotel after 2 nights, because of the uncomfortable room: we could not turn down the heating and had to turn on the airconditionning in order to cool our room (in the winter!!) As it was situated to the busy street side, we could not sleep with the open window. Their homepage is very stylish and modern, but the hotel itself is kind of oldfashioned inside. Very tiny garage: complicate access for bigger cars. Kind of hectic hotel (bus groups)- no restaurant facilities if you want to eat à la carte.
Staff were very polite and ever so helpful. They went out of their way to provide some office equipment etc that I had left at home. There help ensured I had a susscessful visit. Also their Masseur was experienced and assisted with a shoulder problem more thoughoughly than the local medical personal where I live. The breakfast layout could have been a little more ergonomic. I often saw people spinning around to look for the basics.
We did enjoy the location in particular and appreciated the underground parking in central location. The use the car lift for personal purposes with children was not particularly exciting, but the kids liked it.
Location, location, location. Friendly staff, nice rooms, good value. Can't wait to return.
Location Lack of evening restaurant, but plenty of places nearby
Second stay at this hotel. Standards remain consistent. Excellent staff and breakfast. Room clean and functional. Well-located. Good spa facilities, especially the pool. Will definitely return. Not applicable.
everything - especially the staff
The hotel staff is always very polite, the facilities are clean and tidy.
We were traveling through Bavaria by train, this hotel was just steps from the Innsbruck train station. Luxurious, with every amenity in the room, beautiful modern decor, immaculately clean, luxury bath. Quick walk into Innsbruck, everything can be reached on foot plus there is a bus system. There is a coin laundry just across the street also. The buffet breakfast was amazing, best I've ever had. The staff wa friendly and very helpful. No, it was really wonderful.
An excellent restaurant for evening meal with attentive service and superb food which also applied to the included breakfast. nothing
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for the train station and the heart of the city.
Very warm welcome - friendly, old fashioned service, room was extremely comfortable
Zona sauna/bagno turco senza personale presente.
the all hotel was great and the staff were great to us since I was on crutches. they couldn.t do enough for us. the breakfast ladies were dressed in national costume and so friendly.
Room was too hot Room was too hot
The staff on the Reception desk were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Cosy rooms, excellent restaurant & staff.
Breakfast was excellent. There was some noise from the street in the morning, but there was also a nice view from our window.
Beautiful hotel and kind staff There is no slipper in the room, the elevator is too small
Position in city centre, small, quiet, ok buffet redesign needed
Nothing No a/c
Kindliness, Italian speaking
Convenient old - town edge location; very helpful staff and good service; well appointed room.
nice, clean hotel, good breakfast, helpfull staff, very quick check-in, very convenient location to the city centre, room standard not for 4 star (i.e. no air conditioning)
Excellent staff, breakfast and location. Free internet with a strong signal was also a nice bonus.
Hotel staffs were very friendly. Ventiration fan in bathroom didn't work.
The coffee was very good and tasty in the restaurant. There was not enough place in the toillet.
The pool in the top with the view to the Alps was great. Breakfast was also very good. The room was not according to the hotel. I expected better accommodation / furniture in the room for the price I paid.
It was very warm, friendly and comfortable.
A nice hotel at walking distance from the old town, nice quite environment with a rich breakfast buffet
Nice room, friendly staff I would have liked a room for the same price but with a better view
The staff were particularly helpful assisting with onward travel information following delays after the volcanic ash disruption. The breakfast selection is very good and the swimming/spa facilities are superb. The hotel is well positioned for the old quarter and the railway station.
This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the older part of town. When I went, the Christmas markets were in full swing so the location was perfect. Service was wonderful too.
staff, location, pool, training-room....everything a bit hot in corridors, bar, restaurant - no aricondition?
We had a balcony which overlooked the mountain which was a wonderful sight even in summer
Good location, very good breakfast, spacy restaurant, airconditioning worked pretty well. A bit expensive
centrally located, friendly personnel. The bathroom was not clean.... dirty under toilet seat.
This hotel is a class act with nice rooms, nice buffet breakfast, and a great locations near the historical center of town. You always pay more than you want for this type of arrangement.
Panaramic windows of amazing views that shift all day as the mountain weather and light change (try & get 6th fl or higher- mountain side), Comfortable beds and living space- chaise lounge, rocker, table, sofa. AC worked well, free sauna with view in evenings if you book direct with them, very nice restaurant, tea/coffee in room. 1 block from train station so super easy to find and get to and from- only 4-6 blocks walk in safe area to old town and river. I was on the 11th floor and loved it all, but and this is speculation only, if on lower floors the train sounds might be troublesome.
Great location. Easy access to all sites. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and served in their restaurant which is a happening spot early in the morning which made it fun. Lobby staff didnt seem overly friendly. Just kinda there going through the motions.
Friendly staff and good privacy. No complaints.
Very good breakfast, the Cafè was very nice, good to have dinner, too.Central position.Parking facilities. The room was very clean and with good fornitures. We are very happy to chose this hotel and I think we will visit it again!! The room was very hot and it is not possible to change the temperature!
It was definetly a superior-class hotel, placed in a good position in respect to the historical downtown, and the room was very big.
the location was very good. The parking facility was good. The fitness room equipment was very poor. The 2 cycles were dangerous and broken. The weight machine was OK.
The hotel was in a very good location. The front desk attendant was marvelous and the rooms had a great deal of storage room. In general, being from the US, we typically sleep on softer beds. Although I don't specifically recall the hardness of your beds, all that we stayed at were harder than we are accustomed to in the US.
Family room provided was very spacious and comfortable. limited car parking, so had to use public parking.
As the name says this hotel is realy in the Center of Innsbruck. The breakfast and bar room still have the charme and stile of the famous austrian "Kaffeehaus" Although the rooms are comfortable, they are very small.
Lovely hotel in great location.....
The personal were very friedly and helpful. The room clean a bit of tlc would do the hotel good the lager is good for shopping etc. and the price good. Nothing
The location, staff, and breakfast were all amazing. We would come back just for the breakfast! The room was fine but we were expecting better. The bed and linens were average, the bathroom was a bit odd in that our young children could never reach the faucets and the door always swung open and hit you when using the toilet. Also, the room was very hot (in February), and the only way to effectively cool the room was by opening the window and enduring construction noise next door.
Breakfast was great. I could not get coffee or tea until 16:00pm after breakfast.I wanted to sit on the rooftop terrace and drink coffee but this was not possible unless I bought a takeaway coffee from elsewhere.
the breakfast 4th floor carpet damaged and filthy upon arrival no service for luggage to be taken to the room hot water not hot by early evening service of breakfast staff efficient but cold damaged electrical outlets in the room not enough evening reception staff during 23rd and 24th Dec
Breakfast was good and in a very pleasant restaurant with a good view. Liked the evening bar on the terrace and a pianist was there too so nice to have some live music. No evening restaurant.
Breakfast was phenomenal!! Amazing range of food and condiments - by far the best we have had around the world and wonderful dining room staff as well We missed being able to make ourselves a cup of tea in the morning when we awoke...jet lag often means this can be any time from 2AM onwards. Can you consider putting a kettle/cups etc in the room as we are used to having this available in London and Singapore??
great location close to everything; very helpful staff (I needed an adaptor for mobile and they supplied one free of charge straight away) and a superb breakfast
Fantastic homeland definitely value for money. Very friendly staff who were really helpful and made you feel very welcome. The best breakfast I have had in a hotel in Europe with lovely waiting staff. The room was comfortable if a little hot but opening the window solved that. The location was perfect with a very short walk to restaurants and shops as w,ell as the museums churches etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating staying in Innsbruck.
The location was excellent-quality hotel with excellent facilities and service. Breakfast choice outstanding. The wooden floors tend to echo and at times one could hear the room above and the people moving around. however this is a minor point considering how good the hotel is.
The restaurant on the fifth floor and its the very central position.
Breakfast buffet was fantastic. The rooms and public areas were well maintained and clean. Location is very convenient. The mattresses were low end and the double was 2 twin beds pushed together. The beds actually separated a few times. The TV had only 1 English language channel and no movie rentals.
central, nice bathroom, very nice bar and breakfast area, good breakfast for this price I expect a wireless internet and sauna and sport centre, hotel hs no restaurant
we loved the location- perfect for exploring the village. We also enjoyed the warm ambience of the room and dining areas. Please write at least 15 words We could have used a closet or area to place or luggage.
The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgable regarding the area with respect to what to see, best way to get there, best time of day to go, etc. Hotel was clean and restaurant food was tasty. When we arrived we couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel because that street is not open for car traffic from 10:30am to 6pm. We should have called ahead to find out about parking. We parked in a nearby garage and walked to the hotel. We found out later that hotel guests are allowed to drive up to the hotel to unload the car then must go park in a parking garage about 2 blocks away for the duration of your stay.
It is a very charming and historic inn. We appreciated the sense of history that was reflected in the hotel brochure, the walls, restaurants, and even in the plaque outside the hotel. Wonderful central location in the old town, a stone's throw away from the Inn River, and expansive views of the mountains.
Very, very friendly stuff. The hotel is in the heart of Innsbruck's Old Town with many attractions, restaurants, and cafes in about 5-7 minute walk. The air was too dry.
Very nice hotel, perfect situation in the old town. Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant and a nice clean room.
Ideal location, within steps of the major sights. The reception lady was very nice and helpful. Breakfast didn't have scrambled eggs or croissants. Waiter at dinner was in a hurry to get rid of us, not very good service there. Carpark is about 5 min walk away, but this wasn't a problem for us.
Friendly young staff
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is ideally located in the heart of Innsbruck! You are surrounded by restaurants and shops galore! The staff was exceptional. The room was exceptional. Really, I can't wait to come back!
In beautiful old city of Innsbruck. Excellent hotel in nice environment. Worth paying for "superior room" as very spacious. Even romantic!
the hotel staff, the hotel's location, the hotel's restaurant
Perfect location to see the old city, make shopping, relax..to enjoy the weekend! Our room had a good size and had even a whirlpool..very clean and comfortable!
The location is perfect, except of the parking problem. Nice renovation, romantic and comfortable Too expensive and no internet connection, no slippers etc, no boiler (for tee or coffee), which are common and standard for this kind of 4star expensive hotel.Parking problem.
The staff was helpful. Too old.
Dining room, menu and serving staff highly professional and friendly. Menu was impressive. At time of booking I provided a specific special request that was not provided. (flowers, champagne... at my cost) This was a wedding trip. No acknowledgement from hotel staff. I did not pursue it further as the surprise effect was lost. It does not stop me from recommending the hotel, however this little extra would have differentiated the hotel for me.
rooftop welcome with gluhwein. Warm and friendly staff. Excellent service and food in restaurant.
The rooftop restaurant made for a spectacular evening. The location made access to "Old Town" very easy. Perfect setting for our "Retirement Honeymoon"! None
The hotel is in a great location, I like the family history of the hotel, the bar and restaurant were good and the staff is very friendly.
My husband and I loved the comfortable bed and pillows. It was quiet and although the room was small, it was all we needed. The tv was too small.
Very good location, within a very short walk of Old Town and the major sights. Breakfast was not included. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Very much enjoyed our stay here. The room we had, which we only paid a standard rate for, was very nice - spatious and nicely furnished. Decent location also, only five minutes walk to town centre.
Excellent location, lovely room, breakfast beautifully presented and service courteous. The room had an irritating noise - perhaps from heating/air conditioning pipes.
The hotel offered a quaint setting that afforded us access to the old town center for sight seeing and shopping ease.
Very nice and friedly staff.
The location was good and convenient. Not many amenities; no lobby; beds uncomfortable. Too many steps to climb carrying luggage. Would recommend only to day travelers not long term visitors.
It was fairly Central to all of the sights of Innsbruck, and to the night life etc, simple , no frills ,but fine
good location, fair breakfast, good hotel staff. poor cleanliness all over the hotel, very old, useless furniture. Very old appliances.
prepared us breakfast for ealy start which was appreciated
The position is 5 minutes from the city center. Double room too small.
This hotel is straight down the street in front of the train station--about a 5 minute walk. Very convenient! I missed having a hair dryer in the room, since I did not pack one. Also, the breakfast room is divided into a smoking and non-smoking section with no ventilation, so it may as well have all been a smoking area.
clean room, good breakfast, fast internet connection on the hall of the 1st floor room was noisy and even if non-smoker's room, smoke smell was coming in.
The location from the train station is good. The woman on reception that checked us in was rude and we later found out that she checked us into a room that was not supposed to be used as the shower-head was broken.
The room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful.
1.good location:just between HBF and old town, to each less than 10 mins walk,2.very freindly and helpful staff,3. with good WIFI a little bit expensive
breakfast is nice, good quality no AC (and it can get hot) , furniture is notably cheap and patched, more like acollege dorm than a hotel. (at least my room). No Wifi, and the modem was no installed in the room so i had to wait in the morning to access the reception (not staffed at night)
The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating - and it was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile. The hotel is located within walking distance of Innsbruck's main attractions.
All the facilities and services are between decent to very good. No silly poshness and frill. Friendly and helpful staff. Given the price, this is an excellent deal.
no nonsense lack of parking which was fairly far and expensive
nice and friendly staff...the great thing about the hotel is its location...it is at the city centre....so you are close to the railway station, most of the place of cultural interest.....overall a great value for money hotel
Good location, 5 minutes walking distance from train station, friendly staff, clean reasonably sized rooms, lovely reception and breakfasting area, good breakfast. We only stayed one night but found the hotel comfortable and Innsbruck a wonderful city, we will return.
Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfat was good and wholesome. The hotel is in the heart of the town and close to the railway station which is for both local and intrastate trains as well as International trains.
Nice, small hotel located erally close to old town. You are right off the main street and one block away from the main train station. The stuff was super helpful. I had budget room which is jsut what you need when traveling solo. Even I arrived early, I was able to check into my room at 1100. Breakfast was pretty good for continental one.
good location, nice aptosphere.
it's closeness to the centre of the city Yes, the hotel was overpriced and the rooms are badly in need of renovation. Fair price for this hotel would be €50 per room per night!
Good location, pleasant room, friendly, helpful staff. Nothing
Its location near the train station. Staff was just doing the issuing and receiving of room keys.
Good restaurant. Very kind and helpful staff (both reception, restaurant and cleaning). Staff speaks English. Free wireless internet with an allright download/upload rate: I had no problems with ordinary use of the internet including webcam video transmission. When using the wireless internet a lot for e.g. working in the hotel room, it is a little annoying that you have to sign in to the internet with a new username and password for every three hours. But the staff at the reception is very generous with the passwords, so you can get e.g. five new passwords at one visit at the reception in order not to have to go there every third hour.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for touring without the car. There was am;le parking available.
Very good restaurant - tasty food, good service, nice environment. Room was very clean. Staff very helpful. Although extremely clean, room is not really what i expected for a 4 stars hotel - furniture is very old, bed and cover very small, bath very small and very old looking. Very small TV with actually no English speaking channels, no fridge.
Everything was expectable. no
Good location and easy to find the hotel. The only problem we had was the door built with the bath room was too old to be closed.
Breakfast even not having a big variety of goods, has a very good quality. The beds were really confortable. The reception staff was not very client service oriented and sometimes hostile.
Everything was perfect !
The room The breakfast
room was spacious and clean. bathroom was a great size which i liked very much. little coffee shop next door and location to markets excellent. staff great.
no frills, good basic accommodation with super views of the mountains from the back rooms
Design, cleanliness and convenient location. No
The breakfast was fantastic! A great selection. We enjoyed how the bathrooms were so modern in contrast to how old the building is. The beds were very comfortable. Clean. And just a cozy, great atmosphere in the Hotel. Nothing. It was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.
Location, location, location. Right in the heart of the old town, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The Christmas Markets were right outside and there were wonderful restaurants right down the street.
The heating system was a little noisy
Authentic feel as described. It was on the main tourist street - only downside meant that it was extremely noisy at all times of day and night.
Very cute place, friendly and helpful staff. VERY conveniently located. Excellent choice! Nope!
the breakfast was the best of all the hotels i stayed at in europe! position was perfect for a tourist visiting innsbruck. very old hotel with lots of character
Excelent location, great breakfest and staff. Historic and beautiful building.
Fatntastic central location and helpfulness of the staff.
The hotel's location is excellent, very central. Although in an historic building, the hotel was comfortable and had a modern fitout. Hourly charges for wi-fi (should be included) and a CRT TV in the room.
Excellent location. A hotel with long history and the decoration and atmosphere do reflect this.
Good food.Excellent location. Nice staff. Small shower /bathroom - not very practical!
We arrived early and were allowed to secure our suitcases and have our room available about 1/2 hour after arrival. We loved the location, the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was adequate but the staff person during breakfast seemed ticked off when we asked to bring a cup of coffee to our room and getting a cup of ice from the diningroom seemed to be a hassle for them as well. Overall, loved it.
Excellent local cuisine and friendly, helpful staff, including the owner. Rooms a bit basic. Too many hunting pictures.
The location mainly. The staff and the room temperature.
Wonderful location in the old town; the owners/staff were very helpful with all aspects of our stay. Breakfast was much better than expected; wide selection, nice hot coffee. Large triple room was great, as we had our 17 yo daughter with us. Great Austrian decor, we were very happy with this choice of hotel.
the location is vry good, very near to all the attractions, and th train stations is just 7mts walk th bus and th trams r just 1mt wlk.the break fast is ok.th staff were very good and helpful, they evn gave us a early chk in evn though we di't inform thm.th room was spacious for 4 of us. wud lov to stay again. the lift is too small,if u hv lots of baggage
Romm accomodations were good, close to centre, excellent breakfast and great service
great location atmospheric building good restaurant nowhere to sit, other than room, no lounge
Nice hotel with friendly people.
good service, good location little costly
Location, location, location....very good restaurant, excellent vine cellar...staff very friendly... furniture from 70's
very good value for costan excellent location right in the old city
The location and above all the friendly and helpful staff everything was super
The location is fabulous - 50m from the Golden Dachl in the centre of Innsbruck Old town, 500m to the Hoffburg which has just reopened. Comfortable hotel, ideal for seeing Innsbruck.
It is very good location, just near super restaurant, not far more important museum.Clean. too old,it is always smell chip food, breakfast is terrible,
