Great location, beautiful hotel but more importantly fantastic customer service. Our room was not ready at check-in and we were willing to wait a few minutes. In under 15 minutes they had us checked in and gave us vouchers for free drinks and appetizers at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious (at Swap Fox) and had a great selection. Plus it conveniently had a Starbucks on site. Will definitely be back!

Elevators are 1920s size so there small with luggage but the hotel is gorgeous and embodies the Charleston spirit

The hotel was in a good location. The Bell staff was exceptional Check in was a breeze. Rooms were clean but a bit older.
Older small bathroom A/C that made loud noises randomly. This is not a modern hotel...but that's not all bad.

Each room in the hotel is traditionally decorated and comes with a flat-screen TV, a coffeemaker, and free access to wireless Internet.
