It was an amazing stay. Superb attention to detail, breakfast was amazing.
Good location close to city, quiet environment, bosphorus view in some rooms No free wifi and extremely high charges to have access, rooms needs refurb to compete in the five star class
Hotel in very nice place - middle of the city, metrobus (speed city bus) in 100 meter to hotel. Professional staff.
Breakfast was great, but thats about the only good thing i can say. Wifi was way too unstable. Had to visit the common room in front of the elevator to get connected. Smoking from next room was passed onto our room making our stay painful. Staff didn't even ask whether we were smokers or not
It is the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in terms of luxurious hospitality. The unavailability of what I understand are a wide range of Turkish wines by the glass, in better restaurants in Dublin one can now avail of wine by the glass of up to 90 types. The bottles are held in a vacuum cabinet, for my wife and I to try a red and white Turkish wine with our dinner in the Tugra would have been nice.
brekfast, hamam, and the pool for this price I was expecting beter view from the room and a biger room. Algthough not far away from the city center, because of trafic problems, we had to travel (always with taxi) half an hour to and from the hotel. It was very expencive. For example, one extra botle of water 10 euro in the room! But the had also to smal ones for free
The W Istanbul is centrally located on the European side in Istanbul, with several shops and restaurants just around the corner, Nisantasi is also a short 10 minute walk away (exquisite shopping). Vogue, a rooftop restaurant and bar, is also a short 2 minute walk away. The hotel is clean, trendy and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and service was excellent (sans the mini-bar items that I never used finding their way onto my check-out bill, which the staff swiftly removed). Would highly recommend the hotel to any solo travelers or couples. I would have liked for there to have been a salon and for the gym to have offered yoga classes (or any other sort of fitness class).
Rooms were nicely decorated and had many automated features. NOISE level was unbearable, I couldn't sleep all night due to SUPER LOUD music followed by a fight right outside my window. I ended up going to sleep around 6:00am. TV was nicely mounted on the wall, but hidden behind glass which made it unviewable; also TV size is too small for the room size, can't really see much from the bed. No breakfast facility on location.
Great Stafd very helpful with giving advice and arranging transportation. Great Turkish Bath, hot tub and steam room
The view at the Bosphorus from the terrace of the hotel. Due to the traffic it's very hard to reach the hotel between 3 and 6 pm. It took us several times about 2 hours to get from downtown (blue Mosk, topaki palace, bazaar, etc) back at the hotel.
Es un hotel pequeño bien localizado. Habitaciones limpias y comidas. Desayuno con gran variedad de productos.
Beds are not comfortable at all,, also, bathrooms open to the rooms which means all what you do in the bathroom can be heard to anyone inside the room
clean, comfortable, good price, good location
The good location in town Poor service and so so rooms considering the 5 start rating. To me moreof a 3 star.
