Algthough not far away from the city center, because of trafic problems, we had to travel (always with taxi) half an hour to and from the hotel. It was very expencive. For example, one extra botle of water 10 euro in the room! But the had also to smal ones for free

Cons: The unavailability of what I understand are a wide range of Turkish wines by the glass, in better restaurants in Dublin one can now avail of wine by the glass of up to 90 types. The bottles are held in a vacuum cabinet, for my wife and I to try a red and white Turkish wine with our dinner in the Tugra would have been nice.

Cons: The most terrible thing is that this hotel does make change of money from EUR to TL, and does not change from TL to EUR. It is really terrible because they leave you with a bunch of TL in your pocket to use it nowhere. I felt totally dissapointed and cheated.

Cons: Decoration in rooms high-quality but rather stale. Even if I had my room at a discount I found it rather mean that not even continental breakfast was included (less value for money than another Istanbul hotel I stayed at earlier in the same sojourn)

Cons: Average reception staff: they charged (not just authorized) my credit card on check-in without asking for my consent and for higher amount than the accomodation costs were. The overcharged amount (not much but still...) was given me back on check-out in turkish lira, hardly needed on your way out of the country. Not a disaster but surprising.

Cons: The main breakfast room on the 18th floor was crowded and service was slow. However, the VIP breakfast room (with fewer options) on the 11th floor was almost empty and service was great.

Cons: The hotel did not have available any disinfectant that I needed for a small size wound, I asked for a farmacy service but they were unable to provide it. A friend of mine left at the reception a button belonging to my jacket providing my name and asking to deliver it to me. The staff never informed me neither delivered it to my room, besides when I asked a few times where was my button they claimed that it was never given to them. Clearly they did not care and threw it away. I consider all this an extremely poor behavior particularly in an hotel that claims 5 stars.

Cons: The glass wall in the shower room was too small. I had to scoot myself on the shower side, or else the bathroom would be all wet.

Pros: That was a normal hotel , I dont belive that it was a five stars hotel , if I new the hotel is like that I wouldn`t go there.
Cons: The stuff could not speak english , there was no kettle inside the room and the mini bar was far too expencive. I Paid by Euro but when I went there they charge by turkish lire(which I am not happy about it)

Cons: I was given a room 10 feet above a Music Band overlooking the pool.Music was so loud I could not hear the TV in my room? Reception said it will finish by 7.30 then at 7.30, said it will go on until 11-11.30. Changed room, AC was noisy so didn't sleep properly. Tried to call Duty Manager, got Reception, they were unhelpfull. Shower didn't work, had to call technicians to fix it. Called Guest Services to borrow Ironing board and Iron, Not Available, must use hotel Pressing service? Bad Experience, left next morning.

Cons: The hotel should be 3 or 2 stars not 5 stars was not good at all , and there is no ac and it was only fan and the Furniture very old and not Comfortable at all

Cons: We were not given the room as per the picture we booked in, we had to move rooms twice as the second room we were given the ac was not working and the third room was as horroible with filth on the carpets and the aircon was not working. My young daughter got sick as we found out her bed was totallay damp in the morning becuase she was sweating due to the the ac not working. We have hospitals bills to prove this. We were lied to during the course of our stay saying the ac was maximum and that it does not cool nany more than what is on our room. We found out next moring that the ac was not working and that they were working on fixing this problem. Have a video of this conversation as well. We were booked for two nites there we checked asap
